Recently I set up a trade with Aron Hoyt, his Taylor guitar for my Gibson Chet Atkins SST($2800). Well, I shipped my guitar,,,,, and I got nothing in return. He gave me a fake name which I found out as soon as I contacted the police and they called him. He was going to drop off the guitar at the police station and that was going to be the end of that. He never dropped it off or called to police station. So, now I'm trying to find out as much as I can about this person. He lives in Williamsport, PA. I did a quick search and I found that he's done this several times to different people. Just two months ago he ripping off several people saying he was selling concert tickets. He never shipped. Ontop of that, he's done this on e-bay which led me to your site twice. Once for a guitar and another for a computer.

Comments: This little weasel cashed my $500 money order for a Dell laptop and never sent it out. Won't respond to emails. His mailing address was:
819 Chestnut Street, Williamsport, PA 17701.

He obviously does this for a living and he'll pay for it - one way or the other.

Comments: He offered a guitar to me off of Ebay. Sent him a money order via certified mail, return receipt, which he accepted. I have not received the guitar. Seller has since cancelled his email address. Money order was sent to Aron Hoyt, Williamsport, PA 17701

Thank you for all your help. It appears that along with you and several other law enforcement agencies we were able to scare this guy enough to take the guitar to the local police station and drop it off. I've been speaking to Officer Storms of the Montoursville PD and he has my guitar on his desk. They are following up on charges and plan to file five felonies against Mr.Hoyt. On top of that, they are following up and filing complaints from several other traders and buyers and they plan on sticking him with those as well. At least I got my guitar back.

Again, thank you for all your help. HOPEFULLY we can prevent this guy from ever trying this again. If there is any information you need from me such as the officers phone number, etc, don't hesitate to ask. I'd like to do anything I can to stop this before it happens again.

He owed me $500. I finally had him arrested. He paid $300 with a commitment to pay the other $200. He never did.
