Hi, I am from the UK and would like help in stopping a scam.I have just lost a Graf von rot in a trade that was cancelled after we had agreed and i had posted. This person is trading on BBOT under the ID's of beanierule, chiefschomp123 and tybeaniebabybear.

I have made contact many time and all you receive is an auto response stating that trade has been cancelled. Many others have also had the same response and not received any beanies in return. This person needs to be stopped. I still have all emails sent and received from this person and other email from other people who have also been scammed.   MAny thanks PLMK what to do.

I have not received anything from anybody, savoury is lieing and never sent me anything, i cancelled everyone because i am out of the country now in germany until december so i didnt want to trade with anyone. If anyone has a signature me signing anything, i would like to know and i can find out who they are. People sending things without signature is wrong, u never know if the package arrives or not.

I made a trade with this person from BBOT to trade his FVS for my Bunga Raya. I Sent my half of the trade and received nothing in return. As of today, he is not answering any of my emails. His mailing address is:

I originally contacted this person to trade their Freiherr Von Schwartz for my Bunga Raya Asian Beanies on 6/20/2002. We traded references on 6/21/2002, and they stated they would mail the beanie the next morning 6/22/2002. I mailed my beanie on Mon. 6/24/2002, but didn't get the chance to check my emails until later on Monday and there was a email from Yahoo stating the trade was cancelled. If this person tells you they did not receive the beanie I sent, they are lying. All of the trades that I have made have been successful with no delivery problems. I have sent numerous emails to this person since with no response at all. I would really like to get my beanie back or $30 from this individual. I recently made a deal with this person on the BBOT to trade my MC beanie for his Scotland beanie. I unfortunately didn't receive what I traded for, but he sure received my MC beanie. Please make other traders aware of this person!! I was told by other traders that this person also goes by the name Becky Davis at the same address as Brad Lobdel l

This person uses multiple email addresses as well: tybeaniebabybear@yahoo.com & tybeaniebear@aol.com (These two email addresses were noticed by fellow traders under the Beck Davis name with the same address. Thanks!!!!

He sure did receive my mc beanie. I sent it to his address that I had also sent to you. The confirmation # 0301 0120 0006 2446 2887. Mc beanie was sent priority mail on June 21st, 2002 and if you check the USPS website, it will state that it was received at 1:44 PM at his address on June 24th. I still have the original copy of the delivery confirmation number, as it was stamped by the post office. I have all of our email correspondences as well. I was told also by other traders that this person goes by the name of Becky Davis and lists the same home address when trading. With the female name there are two additional email addresses that are known: tybeaniebabybear@yahoo.com & tybeaniebear@aol.com. Hope this helps!! PLMK if you need any more information!  The Ebay user name he gave me was: chiefs_royals.  By the way, I saw the email address (tybeaniebabybear) on the BBOT just the other day. I was curious, so I email this person and they said they wanted to trade and sent me the same home address as Brad's.  This person is just continuing his fraudulent practices!! Thanks,   Bob

This trader agreed to trade, I shipped out on 6/21/02, sent confirmation # & asked for one in return, no response, emailed again 6/24/02 for confirmation #, received auto response stating "THE TRADE IS CANCELED!!!!!". I contacted the N. Richland Hills USPS and they were able to track my package and return it to me, before it was delivered! After I posted Bad Trader Alert, then receive 2nd auto response, have not received package, but when I do, I will send it back. This is a scam, I spent $3.90 for nothing, I am saddened that there are criminals like this that intentionally seek out people to scam and hurt for their own gain. Shame on this person!

Later July 11,

They have posted on BBOT as becky, brad, and bobbie anne. They use the ID's tybeaniebabybear, chiefschomp123, and Libertybear (something like that). I answered ad from chiefschomp123 to trade a GVR for a FVS. Made arrangements and confirmed with mailing addresses. The address they gave me was Brad Lubdel 7101 Hanging Cliff Place North Richland Hills, TX 76180. I mailed my package out on a Friday and emailed this person w/ the del. confirmation number. When I had not heard from this person by the following Monday, I emailed them asking for the same consideration of a confirmation number. I received an "Auto Response" email stating, "THE TRADE IS CANCELED". I called my local Postal Service and got the phone number for the one in Richland Hills. I called them and talked w/ a lady named DeeDee. My package had not been delivered yet, and they were able to intercept the package and mailed it back to me! I posted a bad trader alert on BBOT and had over 100 emails in response. I bet there were at least 5 people that had already been taken in my this person and weren't as lucky as me to get my bear back. I think the only thing that saved me was the fact of delivery confirmation and the weekend. This person is still posting on BBOT and I have been posting warnings under all the posts they post. I certainly hope that this person(s) is stop! I don't have anymore of the emails, but if I can be of further assistance let me know. Thanks for your dedication to internet fraud, Lorali Simmons

Just a warning about this NEW trader who has no feedback. We arranged a trade and when I learned she had no feedback I told her I could not trade with her and her response back to me was as follows: "if you want me to mail first that is fine and i can give u the tracking number just give me your address and ill send it out today". This was a week ago so when I e-mailed her to see when she mailed she said she changed her mind and why didn't I send first. Thank goodness I never consumated a trade but BEWARE if you are thinking about trading with this person. An honest trader would have followed through or at least e-mailed in a timely manner to say she changed her mind even though we had exchanged addresses. Early trading behavior like this smells of a person to be avoided.

Below find the email I got from him after I had sent my beanies to him and notified him of this. Then I emailed him about this message and he told me that the auto response message I had gotten was meant for someone else ( not me) but that it sent to everyone else he dealt with by mistake. So when he says he notified everyone that deals were off he was right (notified with the auto response) but he emailed me after that and told me that the message was only meant for one person. (Cautionlist: So he lied when he said that he notified everyone that deal was off because he told her that the auto response was not meant for her.)

Hi there, the same thing just happened to me....right after I posted on the BBOT about this trader, I got an email from him that he sent his trade. The second from him following the cancelled trade notice. I just sent out my trade this afternoon, got home and wrote him to let him know, and right after getting the "cancel" notice, went right back to the Post Office and got back my box....I don't understand that happened.....could it be a PC error from his end? I wrote him back, will have to wait and see....Delma

i was scammed by a guy in texas called brad lobell He gave his address as

7101 Hanging Cliff Place ,North Richland Hills , Texas 76180. I arranged a trade with him through the Ty BBot site where he called himself chiefschomp123. We agreed to trade his german exclusive Freir Von Schartz (FVS) for three beanies from me UKPops,Celebrations, and Scotland bear (a scotland exclusive). I mailed the beanies on 15th june 20002  i have not received my beanie from him yet  i have contacted him several times he claims to have sent the beanie to me. he also claims that he did not receive my package which i sent him. i have kept all the emails and can give you copies of them. please let me know if you can help stop this guy ripping people off like this. trading boards only work if people can trust each other. he claimed to be new at trading and so had no feedbacks or refs he did give me email addresses of people who he claimed to have traded with. i hope you can do something about this guy  please contact me for any further info or details mary shearer

Hi,  I`ve been asked to send details of the trade i had with tybeaniebabybear. Basically we aggreed a trade, i checked what i thought was various different people posting positive feedback on BBOT only to find after i kept my part  of the bargin that they were one & the same person so when I heard nothing after about 2 weeks i sent them an e-mail but all i got was a Yahoo! auto responce saying THE TRADE IS CANCELLED!!!!!!! in other words I`ve been stitched up good & proper. First of all i dont know what to say, the person who was scamming people of the beanies wasnt me, they were staying with me for a month and were using my name and email address she just left to go back to florida somewhere not for sure, and took the beanies with her, she said she bought them, so dont know where they moved to now, but this is what i will do if you could send me what they supposedly sent me and there address i will send out a money order for the price of what they are worth face value. I just want to clear my name, they left today and first time in a month i checked my mail and i see all of this. Let me know what i can do, i dont know where she lives, one of my friends from far back and found me and all i know is she moved to florida. Thanks and please email me back!!!!!!!!!!!!!
