Hi there, Im sure you get these all the time, but I am at the end of the road, I guess Ive just been ripped off & there is NOTHING I can do. Hopefully, you can PLEASE give some words of wisdom. On May 29, 1998, I purchased a money order for 53.75 for a Fortune "presale" from Brent Pierce " PNC BEANIELAND, he has strung me along, saying he doesnt have them yet, but is advertising them on his website, for much much less ,I might ad (which is understandable, the way the market is). However, there is NO excuse why he wont send the beanie I paid for. I have copies of everything, MO, emails, ect. I even sent him a Cert. letter, requesting a refund, but still havent gotten it back. I feel he never picked it up. Anyway, Id like to put him on the bad traders list so that others wont get ripped off, but I dont want to get in Legal trouble. I called the Sherrifs Dept., the Postmaster where I live, and they both told me that legally, it was too little $ for the postal service to go after, altho it was criminal mail fraud!

HERES THE FULL SKINNY ON THHE "FORTUNE". HE TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD "PRESLE" MY ONE FORTUNE FOR 53.75 BACK IN JUNE WHEN THEY WERE NEW & EXPENSIVE. SAID THAT HE WOULD BE GETTING THEM QUICK BECAUSE HE HAD GREAT SOURCES & TO SEND MO. SO ON 5/29/98, I SENT HIM A $ ORDER. HE PROMISED DAILY UPDATES ON IT. FOR A FEW WEEKS, HE DID & THEN nothing. THE FEW TIMES SINCE THAT HE HAS EMAILED ME, IT WAS NOTHING BUT EMPTY PROMISES. I SENT HIM A CERT. LETTER REQUESTING MY $ BACK IN FULL (MO) PLEASE, TOLD HIM THAT HE HAD COMMITED MAIL FRAUD & THAT I WAS TALKING TO DET. SERGIO KOPALOV OF THE BEDFORD CO. VA.SHERRIFS DEPT. AND THAT HE WAS GOING TO BE CHARGED WITH CRIM MAIL FRAUD IF HE DID NOT COMPLY BY 11/9/98. NEEDLESS TO SAY, IVE HEARD NOTHING. I DONT THINK HE SIGNED FOR THE LETTER& IT HASNT COME BACK TO ME YET. THE DETECTIVE HAS SINCE TOLD ME THAT THE POSTAL SERVICE DIDNT MESS WITH ANYTHING OF THAT LOW $ VALUE. BUT GAVE ME THE POSTAL INSPECTORS # IN RICHMOND VA.  HE DID AT LEAST RESPOND TO MY EMAIL SUNDAY (WHICH WAS SURPRISEING)! MAYBE IF HE HEARS FROM YOU, HE WILL REALIZE THAT IM SERIOUS & I DONT WANT ANY MORE EXCUSES. IF HE HAS THEM ON HIS WEBSITE TO SELL NOW FOR 15.00, I SHOULDNT HAVE TO WAIT TILL 12/8/98!!!!


Update: November 23, 1998

Believe it or not, he finally emailed me yesterday after I sent him yet another "warning " shot. He gave me this bull that he would be sending it on 12/8/98, then I should get it within 4-5 days sfter that & that he was going to put a little something extra for my long wait. ( he sent this yesterday). I immediately went to his website & looked to see if he had Fortune on it for sale. (he has on the website that he ships "same day" with MO.) Well guess what, he has Fortune on there for 15.00!!!!!! If he has them, why should I have to wait till 12/8/98 ?????  I think that making me wait till the 8th of Dec. to even send it is unaceptale. Ive ask for my $ back numerous times, but he gives the "I have it all in an account" Bull ----. I wonder how many other people hes ripped off.One of his older screenanmes was NVSANDMAN@WEBTV. Just to inform you her Fortune is being mailed out Thursday. She bought Fortune on a pre-sale with no delivery date noted on the sale. I was taken for over 2,000.00, and have had to buy these items myself so everyone would be happy. She will get what she has paid for, plus her gift for the long delay. She wil not receive 3 or 4 Fortune Bears! She will get the one that she paid for, plus a little something extra.

PIERCE EMAILED ME YESTERDAY THAT IT WOULD BE MAILED TODAY (TUES), AND SHOULD BE HERE NO LATER THAN FRI. & THAT HE WAS SORRY FOR THE INCONVIENIENCE. HOPE HES TELLING THE TRUTH. I WILL KEEP YA UPDATED.

Update: December 14, 1998

HERES THE LATEST ON BRENT PIERCE. LAST TUES, HE SAID IT WAS BEING "DROP SHIPPED" BY SOMEONE ELSE FROM CALIFORNIA. SAID IT WOULD BE HERE NO LATER THAN FRI. SO I WAITED..... NOTHING. I JUST FIGURED THAT IT WAS A DELAY FROM THE CHRISTMAS MAIL RUSH. NOT~~~~~ TODAY I EMAILED HIM TO TELL HIM I STILL HADNT GOTTEN IT, HE REPLIED, THAT HE HAD JUST CALLED THEM AND THEY SAID THAT THEY SENT IT TODAY!!!!!!! I EMAILED HIM A LONNNNNG LETTER & AT THE END I TOLD HIM THAT IF I DIDNT GET IT BY THIS FRI, I WOULD BE REPORTING HIM TO EVERY AVAILABLE SOURCE. HE HAD TOLD ME AWHILE AGO THAT HE WAS GOING TO "PERSONALLY" HANDLE THIS. I TOLD HIM I FOUND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO BELIEVE THAT AFTER ALL THE TROUBLE I HAD HAD, THAT HE DIDNT TAKE CARE OF THIS HIMSELF. I TOLD HIM THAT COME FRIDAY EVENING, IF I DIDNT GET IT, HE HAD NOONE TO BLAME BUT HIMSELF & I WOULD HATE TO THINK THAT SOMEONE ELSE WOULD HAVE TO GO THRU WHAT I HAVE JUST TO GET A LITTLE BEANIE! MATTER OF FACT, WHEN & IF IT EVER DOES GET HERE, I DONT EVEN WANT IT ANYMORE. I WILL LET YA KNOW WHAT HAPPENS ON FRIDAY & IF I NEED TO, I WILL EMAIL A WARNING TO YOUR CAUTIONLIST, SO THAT HOPEFULLY, HE WONT BE ABLE TO RIP ANYONE ELSE OFF!

WELL TODAY I RUSHED TO THE MAILBOX, HOPING TO SEE FORTUNE & GUESS WHAT, YUP, NOTHING. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO PUT HIM ON YOUR BAD TRADERS LIST, AND ARE THERE OTHER ONES ALSO THAT I COULD PUT HIM ON? I TOLD HIM THAT I WOULD REPORT HIM TO EVERY SOURCE AVAILABLE, SO LET ME KNOW IF YA WILL. EVEN IF IT COMES TOMMOROW, I WILL NOT RETRACT MY POSTING ON HIM, AS IT HAS BEEN SINCE 5/29/98!!!!!! ITS HARD TO BELIEVE ITS BEEN THAT LONG!

I see that Brent Pierce nvsandman@webtv.com is already on your bad trader list. I have also had a bad trade with this individual that has not been resolved. On Nov.16, 1998, I had a winning bid on an auction at UP4Sale for 3 Halo bears @ $56.00 each for a total of $168.50 with the shipping and handling. I sent a postal money order #68361451255 on Nov. 16, 1998 for that amount to him. When I checked with him on Dec. 1, he emailed me that his PO box was no longer valid and he would have to check the mail forwarded to his home to see it the mo had arrived. Come to find out, it was cashed on Nov. 30th, the day before he said he would have to look and see if he received it. Claimed to be sending the beanies. Spoke with several times on the phone, claimed he had received them water damaged so must not have had any when sold them to me ??? Repeatly told me he was sending. Asked for refund, each time said they were being sent. Has given us nothing but an empty mailbox and alot of excuses, will not return phone calls. Have spoken with Sheriffs dept. in his town but so far have had no help. I have been cheated out of my money, which he has never denied receiving and given NOTHING in return.

He is a con artist and has repeatly lied to us. He has been suspended off of Up4Sale, on Ebay he is listed under user nvsand, hasn't done anything on there for a while but I made sure to warn others about him on his comment page.
