Any help you can give me would be appreciated! These people won't email me back and I have filed a report with paypal, IFCC, and webpolice and I don't know what else to do. Paypal said they are looking into it and will let me know within 30 days and I haven't heard anything from the other 2 sites. Here is what happened.

On 12/31/00 I put a reserve on a thank you bear at nobidding.com for $149.99 with free shipping. These people had good feedback so I thought it should be okay. Their nobidding.com userID was tybaby and their email address was Bigdad6841@aol.com They contacted me on 1/01/01 with their paypal information and told me to send the money to jcch3@aol.com and the name on the verified paypal account is Carmen Hendrix. On 1/01/01 I sent them my $149.99 from my fiance's account (x-files@qx.net) The expected delivery date for the bear was 2/20/01. I had contacted them 2/04/01 and asked them to give me an update on the status of my bear. I received no answer. 2/20/01 came and went and I waited until 2/24/01 and emailed them asking them if they have shipped out my bear yet. This time I emailed both email address Bigdad6841@aol.com and jcch3@aol.com and received no answer so I waited 2 more days just in case it was in the mail and I just haven't received it yet. Then on 2/26/01 I told them they better contact me or I was going to take action and report them for fraud on traderslist. On 2/27/01 her husband finally contacted me saying that he is emailing everyone for his wife because she had breast cancer surgery done and I would get my bear within 4 weeks. He also told me I was not the only one that hasn't received their orders yet and assured me I would get it within 4 weeks. I told him I would wait. I think was looking around on traderlist and found someone else never received their buddy or their money back from these people. I contacted this person and she said that all they do was tell her lies. I have been in contact with this person that has also been scammed by these people and she has yet to receive her stuff back either. I contacted Carmen and asked her about this and she swears up and down that she didn't know this person didn't get her buddy. I proceeded to wait 4 weeks then 3/20/01 came and I told them I have not received my bear and it has been 4 weeks. I gave them until 3/24/01 to have my bear or money in my hands. I never did receive my bear or an email from these people since. I got tired of messing with them so I just went and reported them to paypal on 3/24/01 and then I contacted the IFCC on 3/26/01 and then I contacted the webpolice on 3/28/01. Here is the address and telephone number I have for these people. I got this from Tina since they never did give the info to me since I paid with paypal.

Her husbands name is Joey Hendrix. I just want my bear or my money back from these people. I have all the emails I sent them and all the emails they sent me if you would like me to forward them to you. I even have the confirm from nobidding.com saying I had reserved this thank you bear. He wrote me saying he received an email from you and he said he about freaked out and didn't want his wife to go to jail he also said that his wife couldn't fill orders because she is sick but I have heard all of this before when they said I would get it within 4 weeks. He told me he would send me money every week to my paypal account until it is paid off and asked me not to get anyone else involved. I told him the money or if he could send the bear for his wife would be fine. I will keep you updated Thanks again for your help!   Lori

Later April 4: I wrote them and told them I wanted to bear because it was a present for my mom on mothers day and if they didn't  have the bear the money would do but the more I think about it why didn't  her husband send the bear to me in the first place? If she really couldn't go to the post office why didn't he just go for her? I think I will write him back now and say forget the bear I will find it someplace else. I want some of the money in my paypal account now. He gave me this sob story how they are not rich and are supporting children and she doesn't even feel like taking care of them due to the cancer. If she really does have cancer I feel for her but someone could of wrote me an email letting me know the status of my bear or her husband could of took charge of all orders until she is better. I didn't give them the money for a loan and that is what they are using it for. He had told me he had the bear and it would be 4 weeks but if they really had it then he could of took action and mailed it for her if she couldn't make it out of the bed. I'll tell them to forget my first email about wanting the bear and I will expect money in my paypal account tonight. I want at least half of my $149.99. I am tired of playing  this game with these people.

I haven't heard from him yet and he says I have agreed? I don't know what he is going to do send me the money or the bear...I will let you know when  I hear from him

Later April 4: Her husband wrote me back and told me that she had sold 2 bears and was only able to deliver one and won't be able to get another one so he is going to start giving me my money back and he will send his first payment through paypal on friday. I will let you know if he does  Lori

Just wanted to let you know that they made their first payment today. They sent me $50 through paypal just like I asked so they just owe $99.99 more...thanks for all your help!  Lori

They just paid me another $20.00 so they owe me $59.99

I didn't receive any money from them last friday and still haven't received anything and it is tuesday already. I wrote them and asked them where is their payment is I was suppose to get friday and I told them I would be emailing you to let you know I never did receive it. yes mam i do owe her 60.00 but i do have a house payment to pay and it takes everything i get to pay it...ill pay her dont worry

Well they sent me money but it was only $10...you would think they would of sent me more then that. They are really dragging this out    Lori

Well he finally wrote me back and was mad because I told you he didn't pay but I told him I wanted this to finally be over and wanted the whole refund. He said he didn't pay because of his house payment takes every cent he has and he told me he explained this to you. I told him he needs to email me when he is unable to pay. Just writing to let you know that Carmen Hendrix did not pay again last week or the week before. I have wrote them an email on Saturday asking them why they didn't pay and I haven't received an answer yet. They still owe $29.99. I will let you know if I hear anything   Lori

I have not received any word to why they haven't paid me and I haven't received any payment yet either. I have to keep emailing them and tell them to pay me when they had said they would pay me every friday until it was paid in full. I think they should be put on the bad traders list so they don't do this to someone else  Lori

Have you received a response from these people? I still haven't receive a response to my email or any money. I don't know if they are just not talking to me or what the deal is   Lori

I don't have aol so I am not sure but does aol allow you to set your email so when someone emails you and you are gone away say like on vacation then you can have it set to send everyone an automated message letting them know you are gone? When I emailed him that is what he made it look like it did but I believe he wrote that email himself to make it look like a automated message so he didn't have to talk to me. I have sent them tons of emails for the within the 6-7 weeks he hasn't sent me any money and have never received any automated messages and all my emails went though he just wasn't answering them and just when I asked him why he canceled the request from paypal and that I would be contacting you then he sent me that so called "Automated Message" which wasn't sent to me right away. He could of had enough time to write it and then send it to me.  Lori

They emailed me and told me that they would pay what they owed if I got them taken off the bad traders list. I told them that I had nothing to do with that. I emailed cautionlist and they told me to tell him that I would let them know if I got my money back. I finally received my money! They was holding my money until they found out if the page would be taken off traderlist and I told them if I didn't receive it by tonight that I would be contacting their local authorities and it worked. I finally have my full refund back and don't have to deal with them anymore! Thank you so much for all the help you have given me. Thank you so much!   Lori
