Re: Estie Sawyer, aka itweetybird78@aol.com

Morena Lakes, Ca.

I sent her a money order for 3 presale beanies on Dec 18th through her Ebay listings. They were expensive but decent prices. Had to keep asking about receipt? I have sent out 85 money orders for Ebay purchased and none have ever gone missing. After several attempts to get an answer I rec'd a nasty, verbally abusive phone call from Mr. Sawyer threatening me with non payment. I had already sent them the money order number. I had to hang up the phone and they tried again but I would not answer. They filed against me for non payment and I filed against them for harassment and threats. I have kept a file and it is full of lies and threats and a great deal of nastiness all on their part.

I checked on my money order and it has not been cashed but the beanies have since increased in price. I suspect that when they get a letter with an MO and the value of those beanies increase - how hard is it to say 'you never got it' - only I have been pressing so they are getting back at me with nasty threats of being thrown out of ebay. Yes, they do a lot of selling BUT I WON'T DEAL WITH THEM. These folks can't be trusted and by their language and behavior have proven to be predatory!.

Comments on Ty.com have uncovered some similar behavior that others have experienced with this seller. PS I have 100% + feedback as a purchaser and never have encountered this behavior before and hopefully never again.

It is now costing me 15 dollars to recover my funds (hopefully) which is $97.55 and they have also accused me of being crazy. Oh well whatever floats their boat. Ebay makes money from them so why rock it ---what a shame!

I have e-mails for the past year regarding a tank top I ordered February, 2004. I have received many false traking numbers and promise of shipment. I do not know how this "company" continues to operate.

I have emailed Mark Chisholm at Americana Couture countless times asking for my money to be refunded. He never responded until today when he told me this:

"Dear Mr. and Mrs. Smith:

I have already emailed you in regards to your refund please stop emailing me. Your future emails will be deleted and not read."

More lies from him since I have never received any e-mails reguarding my refund!

All I want is my $187.00 refunded ASAP!

I have filed suit with FBI Fraud department and plan on taking this as far as it will go!

This has been going on now since February 2004!

This is outragious!

After reading all the complaints that other people have against americanacouture, I dont' feel so alone. My fiance ordered me jeans for my birthday in April 2003, I actually recieved them a few months later, but sent them back in exchange for something else. I got one of my items, and was told the pants I ordered were on backorder and woul ship out soon. I got the whole story about the UPS thing, and never recieved the rest of my order. I was promised 2 shirts for my troubles, and needless to say, I never got those either. I would like to see justice done for all those customers who got ripped off just like I did. I spoke to maryanne through emails and phone calls. I was told my order is on it's way week after week until I gave up. I hope this is of assistance.

I placed an order with Americana Couture in October and not recieved word of my order. I have made several phone calls and sent several e-mails, 5 to be exact and no one seems to exist at that company. Everytime I call I get no response. Then I happened upon this website and now I know why. I am very dissapointed in this company and do hope that the persons who have been able to file legal actions are successful in their endevor. I hope to get my money back but I have no idea how to do that since no one answers their phone line. If anyone has any direct numbers or links then I would be very greatful. I now know to be more careful with who I shop with online.

Comments regarding Estie Sawyer -- Itweety78@aol.com

I did get my money back but it was not because of any thing Estie Sawyer did. I had purchased the six Asian Beanies for about $85 and over the next several months, I got one excuse after another as to why I had not received the bears. Then the communication stopped. I complained to ebay, tried to get results with "Square Trade", even talked with my lawyer and the police in California, but Estie said the items had been shipped and she was not responsible. Of course, I had paid the insurance (like so many others seemed to have done) but she took no responsibility. I finally called my Discover card and, even though it had been over 8 months, they charged back her account and got my $85 for me. I was lucky it seems. She needs to be banned from ebay!

Good luck to everyone who has ever dealt with tweety78. She is con artist and a thief!

Yours truly,
Cheryl Pimentel
Las Vegas. NV

PS... I have also sent a copy of this letter to ebay customer service.

I would like to POST a complaint that was unfounded and boguss, the name is :

JAMES GORHMAN
His email address is : jfelix43@hotmail.com
His EBAY user id is Buyer jfelix02818

This man not only lied to Paypal about the shipping time, he told them the item was never shipped. In the end Mr felix was refunded his money and still continues to harras me and run my name to the ground . He also stated i never contacted him, in which i have several e-mails to show otherwise. I think this person maliciously tried to destroy my rep on ebay. I would like him reported as he is a very horrible person to deal with. I am glad our dealings are done...As in the past he is one of 2 people that are very dificult to deal with on e-bay. He should read auction shipping times more closely...

THANKS

I don't know who the heck this "Edward Pierre" is but I certainly didn't get any refund. Here are the true details of the paypal transaction:

Oct. 22, 2004 Payment To wendy wisch-zwerschke
Completed Details -$129.99 USD $0.00 USD
-$129.99 USD $0.00 USD

Oct. 22, 2004 Transfer From Bank Account Completed Details $129.99

USD $0.00 USD $129.99 USD $129.99 USD

That is the only activity for my account under her name. If she sent out any refund (which I don't think she did, as she has lied every step of the way, so far) then she certainly didn't send it to me.

Note from Mediator, Pat.
Ms. Wisch-Zwerschke requested that her bad trader page be taken down. Because of this recent complaint, the page will remain up. Since her eBay feedback has been made private, all consumers should use caution. She is now threatening to sue Traderlist.

Follow-up from Mediator, Pat

Ms. Wisch-Zwerschke has now sent a message to her victim telling him she is sending a refund.

Hi,

I just wanted to let you know that I have filed a fraud complaint against WendyWisch-Zwerschke, of Hinsdale, IL. I can see after searching via google that a previous complaint was listed for her on your site under the email address:

xfish4x@aol.com

Her new email address is:

thestarfish@comcast.net

I paid $129.99 via paypal for a portable fireplace on ebay. It has been almost 2 months and I have not received the item. When I confronted her on this, she called me a "psychopath" on her feedback and then lied, writing that it had been sent. She also refused any Square Trade service to resolve the situation.I would appreciate it if you could list her name on your site. Thanks!
Her ebay id is: ****starfish****

Comments: Americana Couture complaint....what else is new????

Just like everyone here before me I ordered $180.00 worth of shirts in February 2004... and guess what...all I have received is a bunch of lies! Promised many refunds and shirt delivery stories, but there is nothing in my hand but hot air! My last email from Mark stated that he had closed my account because I had become abusive! If his definition of abusive is demanding something that you paid for 9 months ago, so be it. I am ready to get on board with eveyone here and see him in court.

FYI..just noticed that QVC is selling some of their merchandise....perhaps they need to be allerted to this companies wrong doings!

Fraudulent sellers information:
Name: Isreal Ramos
user ID: cd_worlds (on eBay)

Complaint:

I won and paid for an auction. 2 days later, eBay contacted me regarding this person, stating they had been suspended. I have emailed this person over and over with no response. I filed a complaint with Paypal, who sided with me. However, the seller has no funds available in the account to recover.

Please use caution dealing with this person. They have 2 email addresses.

In an earlier posting, I complained about Jesse Hahka, hahka@frontiernet.net. She responded to a buy order from me on Metaexchange for 2 Garcias on September 8, 2004 and was paid immediately. To this date...NO Garcias and NO responses to email. Pat contacted her on my behalf and she responded to her promising to mail my refund that week. This took place on November 8, 2004. Well...once a scammer always a scammer I suppose...NO refund...NO correspondence. I have filed a complaint with IFCC and notified Metaexchange. What is my next step? Anyone have any info on her. Jesse Hahka lives in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

*Note from Mediator...a Bad Trader Page is being prepared for this person.
