Comments: I filed a complaint with PayPal against this seller on eBay for non-shipment of item. I was given a tracking number as well as PayPal for this item that should have showed up on the USPS tracking system. It newer did for weeks. Now my complaint has been denied by PayPal and this seller has my money. PayPal now takes the side of anyone that simply supplies them with a bogus number. I now am in the process of trying to pursue this farther. This seller is at this time suspended on eBay, but for all that read this, he or she just may be back with more scams. Beware!
This seller lives in Philadelpha PA. He sells on eBay under the seller ID
of abe008 or Abe008 as well as a web site known as GLOBAL TRADING
GROUP.

Ian and I would like to wish you all a Happy Valentine's Day
and to tell you about our new auction for the Red Cross which started
yesterday.............
This time we are offering up for auction a MOM Angel Bobble signed by none other than Extreme Sports #1 Extremist TONY HAWK..................Tony is the reknown skateboarder who has several video games on the market, has written his autobiography which made the NY Times Best Seller List and stayed there and is the idol of kids and Extreme Sports fans all over the world..............
Tony signed the Bobble in conjunction with Bobblesandmore and Steiner Sports..........A Steiner Certificate of Authenticity and a Buddy Bobble (the official Red Cross Bobble) by Bobbles USA have accompanied Tony & Mom to the auction.............
Check it out..........E-Bay auction # is 8766045976 and the opening bid is set low at $25.................We want everyone to have a chance to bid but if you check out signed items (and they're scarce) for Tony Hawk you'll find them to be quite pricey............
Whether you're browsing or bidding keep in mind it's for a great cause that really needs all of us to get behind them.........The Red Cross Disaster Relief has run pretty dry due to Katrina/Rita and the so many thousands who were devasted by these hurricanes..............They need us all and we need you in order to help in some small way...........It all adds up and it's appreciated beyond words............
Also check out our gal MOM...............She's got a screen test and might well be in the movies...........The story is on our message board so give it a read and wish MOM luck.............
As always, we thank you all............

Complaint filed by: Emily Lin

Subject: Americana Couture--Mark Chisholm
I ordered from Americana Couture in July, 2004. I rush ordered it because there were present for my mother and I was planning to bring it to her in Taiwan during my visit later on that summer. Well, I received nothing before I left for Taiwan. After many unpleasant emails, I finally got my order in May 2005. However, many items were different from what I ordered and the quality is unbelievably bad.
I sent the items back to Americana Couture to request a refund of $353. It took them couple of months to get back to me and tell me they can only give me store credits. I told them I still request refund since the quality of their product is extremely poor. Then on November 15, 2005, Mark Chisholm email another long letter of blank promises and once again, when I request for refund, there's no response. Now it is stated on their website that
"Pursuant to the terms of the Asset Purchase Agreement between Luxestar Apparel LLC and Americana Couture, it has not assumed any liability or responsibility for orders placed prior to November 1, 2005." Meanwhile they are still playing their publicity to attract more victims.
Is there anyway to get my money back? Or can somebody at least reveal this scam to media so there wound't be more victims? Thanks for your patience and help. I did save all the emails Americana Couture sent me if you need more information.
Emily

Subject: Americana Couture--Mark Chisholm
I was also defrauded by Americana Couture and presumably the
Chisholms and other principals for the amount of $698.99 for 2 orders that
were never fulfilled (#8877 and 11328) and I also was charged additionally
$ 233.97 when I emailed MaryAnn to get the money refunded ($15/shirt) for
the "rush" shipment. After reading your website I have filed complaints with
the Southland BBB and the AZ BBB, and also the FBI. I was astounded reading
the website that so many others are in the same position, and I am outraged
that they are allowed to continue to operate!
Do you know of anyone that I can contact regarding any ongoing litigation or any other contacts?
Thanks,
MK

Message from Bobbles and More
We have teamed up with Steiner Sports Memorabilia on this one
along with Bobbles USA................
This rare MOM Angel Bobble has been signed by none other than the New York Yankees Ace Closer Mariano Rivera..........Mariano's signature on Mom Angel is truly a "one of a kind" collectible as there will never be another one signed by Mariano............It doesn't get any rarer than one of a kind...........
Along with the signed MOM is a Certificate of Authenticity from Steiner Sports and from Bobbles USA the official Red Cross Bobblehead, Buddy................Mom also has the authentic hologram from Steiner on her base and she is number 54 of only 108 Mom Bobbles produced.................
All monies, with the exception of E-Bay fees will go directly to the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund which has been pretty much depleted thru it's help for the victims of hurricanes Katrina and Rita..................
Tell your friends and family about the auction and help us help
others.

traders_name: Ilse Charney
Comments: I paid $925 for eBay #5652823696, "Vintage M.A. Cissy Scarlett
O'Hara Doll Rare 20" MINT Cissy Doll w Blue Gown A Complete Outfit." Ilse
Charney avoided questions but eventually after my 18 emails requesting data,
she told me the gown was "perfect." When it arrived the doll had MANY
defects/imperfections, the WORST of which was LARGE, gaping holes in the
hemline of the dress. It had been tucked up into an arch at the hemline,
off-center in the front, concealed in all the pictures in the listing. The
doll smelled very musty, had hair out of original set, messy; her face/arms
were dirty and the arms hanging out of the sockets, her head bobbing around
loosely strung; she was missing her original purse (cheap non-M.A. substitute
instead), wrist tag, cameo necklace, and finger ring; no box, either. Her
jacket hook was torn off leaving pinholes behind. The crinoline was torn
about 2" at the elastic waist; the pantaloons are darker (indicating fading
of the dress & jacket), stretched out at the waist, with some lace torn
loose on the leg; the shoes looked newer, replaced; lashes look sparser over
the left eye; & her hose were stretched out & baggy. Any one of these
defects would render the doll NONmint, INcomplete, or both--FAR FROM PERFECT.
When I reported her condition and asked for refund since the seller breached
the contract by furnishing a clearly NONmint item, she blew me off--until
I filed a DISPUTE on eBay. After offering every excuse in the book and
exaggerating the value of the doll, she offered me a personal check for $100.
I would definitely not take a personal check from this seller, & $100
is an insult, no way would it make up for the difference in the condition
of this doll. Her gown is ruined by the holes in the front--the dress tag
is also missing, leaving a rip in the shoulder where it had been taken out.
Has anyone else had dealings with this seller in which they have felt cheated?
