I just want to log my own experience with Americana Couture. I ordered a t-shirt form them about three or four months ago. My credit card was immediately charged for this purchase and yet I never recieved any word from them regarding the dispatch and/ or delivery of the item. I made no efforts to contact them until today when I went searching again for their website and found the traderlist.com review of their conduct. You may ask why I never contacted them but I am located in Ireland and my flatmates have had orders from the US shipped to them and it has taken quite a long time.

I have found my order confirmation details. I have to say the more I think about this the more upset I am - I actually bought this for my cousins 21st - I had since bought her something else but still it is always very unpleasant to realise you have been had.

Comments: I ordered 2 rhinestone-studded t-shirts on August 4, 2005. It took over a month to receive 2 WRONG shirts (wrong sizes AND style!). I sent them back immediately (via USPS - insured). I requested a refund, and I received several e-mails from both Maryanne and Mark Chisholm, varying from "please be patient" to "we appreciate your patience" to "it will take 2 weeks for a refund" to "I can't give you a full refund, but I can give it to you in payments" (< it was a total of $104.98!) to "contact your credit card company to get a chargeback"(< too much time had passed by this time) to "I can get the 2 shirts to you by Christmas" (< never happened). I have since received an e-mail saying "All orders placed on or after November 1, 2005, pursuant to the Asset Purchase Agreement, will be honored by Luxestar Apparel LLC." And "Pursuant to the terms of the Asset Purchase Agreement between Luxestar Apparel LLC and Americana Couture, it has not assumed any liability or responsibility for orders placed prior to November 1, 2005."

I guess this is their way of getting out of being responsible. I have all correspondence saved. I just wanted to have this mess resolved. It's been over 5 months now.

My name is Kim Leonard. On December 4th and again on December 5th I won a total of three auctions with sassystudios through ebay. The terms of shipping were a cost of $5.00 and would combine shipping on auctions won within the same time frame. The delivery would be two to three days priorty. These items were part of my child's Christmas presents. I saw that my payment had been completed through paypal and my items were suppose to ship out around December 8 or 9. I waited patiently considering the Christmas season until I received no response to four different emails to sassystudios, owner Rhonda Friday. I filed a complaint of items not received with ebay on December 18 & 19. I was given her phone number to try and see if there was a problem and if she would take care of it. I left a message on the number given and 5 1/2 hours later she called back and didn't seem to concerned, she seemed suprised actually, like she was expecting the call to be about something else.

I felt like she had caller I.d. and didn't hear my earlier message. When she first called she asked who I was. I told her and that I had left a message and numerous emails with no response at all. She laughed and said she was terrible at reading her email. That she would ship the items immediately and I would have them at the latest by December 21. That day came and went without the items as I suspected it would. I phoned again with no answer and left another message with no response. I called one more time after that and then my husband called once. She didn't return anymore calls.

I haven't received my items and ebay and paypal response seems slow. Paypal recovered one amount of money ($11.00) for the last item ordered. The first claim I filed with two items paid for is still unresolved. I sent an email to paypal to find out why this is still unresolved with no answer yet. The amount I am still owed is $26.00.

I saw on ebay where she did this to a large number of people and that she has changed her id history three times.

She is a scammer and should not be allowed to sell anymore.

Any help you can offer will be appreciated.

i am conatcting u about a ebay seller"sassystudios" i won an auction from her on dec8,05 mailed a cash payment on dec 12,05 of $6.05 for a pair of 10kt gold cherub earrings i have emailed her several times ,tried calling by phone,and also sent a dispute through ebay and nothing ,but i am more concerned if u look at her feedbacks as she has done this to over 20 others recently and i have read all her feedbacks in which one has said that she has done this before under a diff ebay acount name i have contacted many of the others that she ripped of and most have emailed me back and i gave them the traderlist link to conatct you or trudy i am unsure of how many actually did but overall they all are interested in in what to do next so this dosent happen to any other uknowningly buyers here is her information:

I sold a doll on ebay (#5635603625) to Breena Steinberg on Nov. 19, 2005. The name associated with the address where she lives is Steinberg and she goes by Stein on ebay.  she paid via credit card, I thought all was fine. Then on Nov. 25,2005 she cancelled the card payment without notification to me. I found out from my card processing company. She had sent an email telling me she was unhappy with the doll and wanted a 150.00 refund so she would only pay 60.00. She bid 210.61 and wanted it for 60.00. We told her to send the doll back, she refused and demanded to get it for 150.00. We negotiated it to 150.00. She agreed to pay via check on 12/5/05 but did not send til 12/08/05 with a check number. It came in the amount of 120.00 with a different check number. We asked for the doll back, she refused again. She authorized me to debit another 30.00 on her card, I declined and demanded the doll back. On 12/19/05 we sent her check back, she received it 12/23/05 and sent the doll the same doll. The doll arrived via UPS on 12/29/05 undressed and damaged. She also doesn't leave feedback for people she has purchased from for some reason. We are not people who like to spread junk about others because we are not perfect ourselves and wouldn't want someone to do that to us. On the other hand we had done nothing to this woman and she treated us unfairly, so the world needs to know.

She is refusing to rectify the situation and send the dress, under garments and shoes back to us. We want the clothes back intact with no tears, rips or damage like it was sent to her. If we do not get the clothes and shoes back we want the 210.61. We are not having any luck with police either in Denver or Ledgewood NJ,

postal service, or ebay. We are frustrated and just want what belongs to us or compensated for the damage. She is a liar, a thief and manipulator. She has lied through this whole ordeal, stalled for time and been demanding to get it her way not ours. When we didn't let her have it her way she lashed out at us by keeping the clothing.

Please help us!
