I still want John to reimburse me for the two fakes he sold me along with money to ship them back to him and what it cost me to send them to have them authenticated in the first place, not on all just on the fakes.

I have sent her numerous e-mails in the last week inquiring about tradee as I never recieved him and she has not answered one of them. I want the 100% authentic beanie I was promised or I'll have to press fraud charges against yet another person from ebay. It's a shame they don't screen the scumbags they let on their auction site to save us honest people all this work when we have better things to do than chase criminals.

Comments: Ritu Pande of Shanghai has sold me a fake chilly and a fake peking. I sent them away to Peggy Gallagher and she just confirmed today that they are fakes. I have tried to contact Ritu several times via --mail and she won't respond. I have asked her for a full refund including shipping exspenses and the cost of having them authenticated. If she had been honest none of this would have been neccesary as I was praying they would be authentic and they weren't. I have filed a fraud charge against her with my local Police and with the FBI and will file with the Postal fraud Investigators as well.

Comments: Maybe it's just me, but do you notice a pattern among these complaints? First they say how they won an auction for a Billionaire Bear for $79. Then they are totally shocked to find out it's a fake! Am I missing something here? It doesn't take a rocket scientist to know you're not going to get a real billionaire bear for $79! I think these people who are doing all the complaining are every bit as much to blame for all the counterfeit sales on ebay as are the sellers of fakes. They are encouraging the sales of counterfeits by bidding on them. Truth be told, what they are really mad about is not getting a fake, but getting a bad fake. They pretty much got exactly what they deserved. Remember, please, it's every bit as much illegal to buy a fake as it is to sell a fake.

The main address I was provided was 517 Westview Dr., Yukon, OK 73099. Shellie Lindley signed the receipt. I paid $39.06 for the beanie with a total 0-0-p cost to me of $51.75. I was a little surprised when the header for her corrspondence showed it coming from "Alfred Souza", <trakmeat@yahoo.com>. About the same time wannabacowboy2000 on eBay was NARU. Her instructions had been to send payment to the same address:i.e., 517 Westview Drive, Yukon, OK 73099. I had not pulled contact for this ID. The beanie arrived having been shipped from Okla City. It was a sad, soiled, excuse for an orange Digger. It was so obviously fake that I didn't have it authenticated but can still do. The box had the return address of 517 Westview Drive, Yukon, OK 73099 but no sender's name. As wannabacowboy 2000@yahoo.com I had pulled contact which came back as Michelle Cardux, Hillsborough, NC, phone 405-954-5488. I had "won" an auction 1224649426 ($78.01 for a Billionare beanie) with instructions to pay Shellie Lindley at the Yukon address. She was NARU'd before the transaction was consummated. A header from her correspondence showed it was from "hoth shot" (not a typo) <wannabacowboy2000@yahoo.com.> I had offered to pay Shellie double the end of auction price to have the beanie authenticated. There was no response from her.

I will go to whatever extreme possible to bring this to a resolve that i agree upon, which is my full refund! Comments: I do not appreciate what Mrs. Healey posted about me. I have a flawless feeback on Ebay and I take pride in selling my merchandise and thrive on customer satisfaction. I give DETAILED descriptions of my products so that the buyer knows exactly what they are purchasing. If for some reason the potential buyer ever had a question they could certaintly e-mail me with any questions as I am always online and will do my best to give them a satisfactoy answer. However in this case Mrs. Healey is being completely unreasonable ! I sold Mrs. Healey over 10 beanie babies and never once did I ever say anything about returning them if she decided that she did not want them. Yet at one point,or another, she has returned OVER 8 of them (which I sent back at her expense because I never told her to send them back). Also a lot of these beanies were under $10.00 each ! Mrs. Healey thinks that I am the HSC, she can buy them, be so excited about them, pay for them, receive EXACTLY what she paid for and then decide that she doesn't want them. I'm sorry but that's not how business is done. I sold Mrs. Healey EXACTLY what I told her I was going to send !! After doing alittle digging into this person's history on ebay I discovered she was involved in shill bidding with another user by the name of monalisacon. What a fitting user name. Carouselresale had over 20 auctions running in which monalisacon had bid on 19 out of the 20 I lookied at. I then contacted ebay and gave them all auction #'s. Within 20 minutes both carouselresale and monalisacon were suspedned. However, I see that ebay has allowed her back on under the same name, so I just want to warn everyone to stay away from any auctions being conducted by CAROUSELRESALE or MONALISACON. Two BBKK (beanie baby klux klan) members who hide under the white sheets of anonymity ("pivate" auctions) listed a few items for a short time. But watch for a reappearance or if you are getting ready to send your hard-earned cash. THINK ABOUT IT. They are snoopy90 and allmustgo2001. Gee, this one is new so she STILL says (gulp!) and already knows how to remove the bids of zero bidders!

Another to watch is looneygaly. All have those rare counterfeits -- no, no, I mean rare beanies when they are authentic. There are oodles of royal blue Peanuts on the auctions and these three were hawking them.

Comments: I contacted the above mentioned lady about her #1 bear she had for sale for $3000 on BBOT! I naturally asked if it was authenticated and for pictures! She said she knows it is authentic because she got it from "some woman" who she can't remember the name of! She also had no pictures.When I asked if she would get it authenticated she said "Why waste $20 on authentication" when "I know its real". I explained it would help a great deal getting a sale for it. Then I receive a load of abuse saying she is putting me on traderlist etc.I don't believe her for one minute. She also said the lady she got it from removed it from its authenticated case!LOL! This trader has NO references anywhere and goes under the usual "hotmail" account! I sincerely hope no-one has sent $3000 away for this #1 bear. I am an honest trustworthy trader as my 150+ feedbacks show and do not like to see others being scammed. I always ask questions about older beanies before agreeing to buy or trade for them. Everyone should ask questions, it would save a lot of bad trades!
Be careful with the BBOT as it has no refs service etc and I see a lot of people have been scammed on there.I have a copy of all Emails if anyone needs them!

Comments: I am writing this to warn other potential traders of a bad trader out there. On July 5th I posted a message on several trade boards that I was looking to trade for a Dizzy with colored spots. I received a trade offer from Jeri Culbertson (jacculby@earthlink.net). She was interested in a couple of the items that I had, and offered one of her Dizzys, but wanted to know if there was anything else I was looking for, as she wanted another of my Beanies. I responded back to her right away and let her know what I was looking for. I didn't hear back from her until July 7 (she explained that she had been very busy), when she agreed to a trade, and sent her shipping address. I wrote back to her a few hours later, and accepted the trade. We would both ship on Monday, July 9, as she had suggested. On Sunday, July 8, I wrote her a brief e-mail, asking her to confirm that she was shipping on Monday. I just had a bad feeling, and wanted to hear from her that she was going to follow through with the trade. I didn't hear back from Jeri until I wrote to her on July 13. I had not heard back from her to confirm the trade, so I hadn't sent anything out. On July 13 I sent her an e-mail telling her that I was disappointed that she never confirmed the deal, nor, apparently, did she ship her end. Later that day I got an e-mail back from Jeri, explaining how busy she had been. She wrote that she would send the Dizzys right out that morning, Priority Mail. She also wrote: " That is fine if you want to hold onto the Issys until you receive the Dizzys. Please let me know when you receive the Dizzys." I got an e-mail that evening (July 13) from Jeri, telling me that she shipped out the 2 DIzzys at 9:30 that morning, Priority Mail, with delivery confirmation. She follow up in the e-mail explaining again how busy she was, and that both of her children were sick, and how she got it, too. That was the last e-mail I received from her. I wrote her back an e-mail the following morning letting her know that I would e-mail her as soon as the package arrived, and would send out the 2 Beanies to her as soon as I got what she sent to me. On July 19, I wrote an e-mail to Jeri letting her know that her "Priority Mail" package had not yet arrived, and asked her to provide me with the Delivery Confirmation number (which she had not provided in her previous e-mail), so I could track the package. On July 21, I wrote Jeri another e-mail, as she had failed to respond to my prior e-mail and request. I let her know that I was intepreting her silence to mean that she had not sent out the Beanies as she said she had, and that I was considering leaving negative feedback for her, unless she could provide me with some kind of proof that she had indeed mailed the Dizzys. I did not lose anything to Jeri, as I had a gut feeling from the beginning. I was very clear with Jeri that I wasn't sending anything until I knew for sure that she had sent.
I truly believe that Jeri intended, from the beginning, to keep whatever I sent, but not to send anything in return, and I want to caution any traders to be extremely careful in any dealings with her.

Comments: On June 22 2001 I purchased 2 x 1 dozen Addison Beanie babies on the Buy it Now option on the Ebay auction site. The total including postage was USD 1,179.98. I paid by credit card on the same day and Dale Borders said he would post the goods the next day, and I asked for him to send me a tracking number. No tracking number was ever sent to me.

On 29 June I asked him for the tracking number as I had still not received my beanies. On 2 July Dale Borders e-mailed me back saying that the goods were shipped by US Airmail but that there was no tracking number available.

On 6 July I e-mailed Dale Borders asking for a refund as I still had not received any goods. He e-mailed me back same day saying that he could not be held responsible for mail that is lost or delayed.

On 10 July I e-mailed him again saying that I had still not received any goods.

On 13 July I managed to get hold of Dale on the telephone, and we agreed that he would send me a further two dozen Addisons and refund my credit card by 40% of the original cost. He said he would send me a tracking no. and that I should have the beanies by the 17th or 18th July. But I still have not received anything from him to date. I managed to get hold of him once more on the telephone and he said that the beanies were on their way, that the credit card transaction would be done on Tuesday, and that he would send me the tracking no. when he was in the office the next day. But I have heard nothing from him since, I've tried ringing him several times but he is now on vacation.

My belief is that this man is a complete liar and a cheat. BEWARE.

Comments: Seller posted a few million dollars worth of merchandise on Tradeout.com -- a business to business auction site about 2 and half weeks ago.
Merchandise included Bose Wave Radios, HP N6395 1GHZ Laptops, Bose Lifestyle 50 Systems, Canon XL1 cameras and a host of other items such as compact flash cards, cheap digital cameras, and metal detectors etc etc.
Everything seemed very legitimate however after my wire for 7221.20 went through, this guy stopped emailing and wouldn't return calls, and cancelled the credit card he had on file with Tradeout so he could not be traced and basically stole my money along with countless others who bid and wired money. We believe the total is somewhere near $500,000 or more that he has taken from business people like myself thus far on Tradeout alone.
We also found out that all the addresses used were fakes and we believe he is using a fake name among other things. There is an investigation pending however I am posting here to warn anyone about this Mark Mills / Electronics Liquidators scam. We had linked him to Ebay as well and now know the range of this scam is much larger with hundreds and possibly thousands of people who have been taken, albeit for smaller amounts than what we all just lost on Tradeout.

Any information regarding this Mark Mills and his partner Jeff (although we are not sure there is really a Jeff) doing business as Electronic Liquidators with email sales@liquidation.zzn.com or possibly others would be useful in catching this individual and putting him behind bars for good.

We believe he may be hiding in either the state of Nevada, California, Florida, or Baja Mexico and possibly deeper in Mexico...

I personally will reward anyone who comes up with information leading to an arrest with $500. It's not much but I'm out most of my money and I'm small guy however I will not give up until he is brought to justice and am working daily on this matter.

After reading some material on your site about a Mark Mills back in '98, I am not sure it is the same person/persons because it seems to be a copycat scam of sorts using the same name however it may turn out to be the same. Any of you who know anything about this guy/scam and may have information that we can link to this current scam would be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time and do not trust anyone. This guy is slick and believable. He has zillions of fake #'s and private mailboxes. If a seller does not give a physical address or even if they do provide one (could be a fake one as in our case), do your due diligence and don't end up like me and the others. Never wire money to strangers. That's obvious but scammers can convince you otherwise and work on your greed and get you to do things you otherwise wouldn't do.

In response to Rita Knapik's accusations.... She purchased $1448.02 worth of beanies & buddies from me via e-bay between Feb 17th, 2001 & March 15th, 2001. She admitted that all product was rcvd and in good condition...even left positve feedback for 42 deals via ebay. When the fake Sakura situation came about in early April, she expressed concern about the Sakura and I offered here a refund. Rita sent me a package in late April with $311.55 worth of beanies back, although all we discuused was the Sakura refund. I issued a refund via her credit card for all beanies returned, even though we had not discussed this. At this point I thought this deal was complete, but I was wrong....In late May she has sent a formal dispute to her credit card company for all $1448.02 worth of credit card charges. A formal investigation was started between her credit card company and my merchant processing company. In the end the investigation was concluded in my favor and she was libale to pay the balance of charges made on her credit card. I have signed statements from her that she kept some beanies, and I have the resolution from the credit card processing company. She is the scam artist here, trying to get product for nothing. If what I sent was counterfeit, then why did she make multiple purchases, and only return a portion of the product. Bottom line here is there was a formal investigation and she was wrong.... I have all documentation to prove my case!

I even offered to deliver the beanie to him since he lives about 6 miles from me and he refused. He said I should trust him...ha! ha! ha! A few days later eBay has suspended his account. I have emailed him about 5 times with no results. I filed charges with eBay for Fraud and this is when I found out that Sez-yung Cheng is the "owner" of the ID and his address is Torrance, CA 90505. So far, no communication from either party. Pleas stay clear of this group. I wish I had seen Aunt Millie's cautionary note on Toysryou before I had become involved in the SCAM!

Comments: I don't know if you remember the fraud case I have against Mary Weese of Acampo CA in regards to a counterfeit Sakura. Well, there hasn't been much to report until this week. The US Postal Inspector is investigating and I received Mary's response to the USPS Sat. Pretty pathetic. In addition, I spoke to the District Attorney's office and Sheriff's Dept of the county she lives in. There is now a open case against her with the San Joaquin County Sheriff. The Sheriff will be forwarding to the DA (I just have to get my prints of the photos sent off to them). I might add that if anyone else has had some bad deals with Mary Weese they should contact the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Dept at 209-468-4400. The officer handling my case is Officer Richard Cantu. When I spoke to the DA office, they thought that there might not be anything they could do about it until I cited for her Section 350 paragraph (a) of the California Penal Code (yes, I have been doing LOTS of research) which states:

Any person who, willfully manufactures, intentionally sells, or
knowingly possesses for sale any counterfeit of a mark registered with
the Secretary of State or registered on the Principal Register of the United States Patent and Trademark office..

Mary Weese is in violation of this penal code and thus has committed a criminal act. The best part of all of this, even though the DA can still choose not to file charges against her, the Sheriff's Department will be on her doorstep conducting their investigation.

By the way, she is no longer selling on Yahoo under the ID madweese. She is doing lots of buying of beanies with that ID so I suspect that she is using another ID for selling. I mean, how many Patriots does one person need? <smile> I thought you might be interested in the update.... especially if anyone might have a case against her.

Anyone dealing with a counterfeiter in California REMEMBER Section 350 paragraph (a) of the penal code. Call the police department and demand they open an investigation and that it be turned over the the County's DA office! Don't wait for eBay or Yahoo to take care of these people, get them with the criminal law of their home state of California!

I Returned 10 Mororola FR-50 radios to her, per her request as we were having shipping pricing problems. I have the Confirmation of Delivery receipt, and the signed Return Receipt insured post card. On 5-18 she told me a refund was sent out to me. I have repeatedly ask her for information on the bank draft # and the insured letter #. and have heard nothing from her since 5-30. Also I am a victm of her shipping scam.
Here is a Quote from an email she sent me:

"Hello Tom
I can sell these to you for $30 per radio shipped via fedex next day air is included in the price." When I questioned her why they were shipped USPS these are the answers I received from her, and I quote " This was an error on the shipping department for I was out of town for a family funeral when this order was packed."

and then I received this email, and again I quote

" Hello the shipping was free and was not included in the price. For I was to have these radios dropped shipped to you but instead my shipper took them from stock here. You were never charged for shipping."

And then Another email and I quote

"You were given a discounted rate due to the number of radios ordered and shipping was included which meant it was free to you. I did not calculate shipping with your order. For the order was to be dropped shipped from my supplier and he does not charge me for shipping."

I really do not think she has the capability to run a business or to keep her mis-leading information straight. By the way her cafruitcake@worldnet.att.net email address is no longer valid.

I immediately emailed Skyairtrader to let him know that I was the winner and give him my address and secure what form of payment he accepted. He sent me a very nice email and told me to send either a postal money order or cashiers check to K. Kouyou at 466 Foothill Blvd #342, La Canada, California 91011. He also said that he accepted paypal and that would be fine also. I don't do mail to much can go wrong so I notified him that I would be sending him payment through paypal but it would be on the 23rd of June. I asked if this would be a problem and he emailed me right back and said that it would be fine to do it the way I just described. On June 23rd I sent him $56.00 for beanie and $6.00 for postage and an additional $1.50 for insurance and delivery confirmation and asked in the remittance advice that he send me the tracking number when he shipped. I explained why the extra money and what I expected for it. For some reason I decided to use an e check from my account don't know why just did so it had until the 25 or so before it was released to him. I emailed him as soon as it was released and I was notified by Paypal that he had to money to please advise me of what method of shipping he would be using, when he would be shipping, reminded him of the extra money for insurance and delivery confirmation, and requested that he send me the delivery confirmation number so that I could track the shipment. For 4 days straight I send him email and he didn't reply finally on the 2nd of july he sent me mail and said what did you win? I emailed him the site of the winning auction, a copy of the receipt from paypal and the email confirming that he had received the payment. He sent back mail that I would have it in 3 or 4 days because of the holiday. I patiently waited until the Friday after the 4th of July and still no package, no information on shipping and no delivery confirmation number. Then I started emailing him at least twice a day. Went to his ebay ratings and saw that he had gone private and that he had evidently received several complaints or something. I emailed him concerning this ALSO. Have not heard a word from him since the 2nd of July. I received email telling me that I needed to check this site and see what was going on. I contacted SquareTrade, Paypal, my bank, National Fraud information center, Internet Fraud complaint center, I even called him and got a recording in spanish. Left message and to date he has not replied to me, SquareTrade, Paypal. I have emailed the Attorney General Bill Lockyer in Sacremento and Pat on this website concerning this matter. I told Mr Kouyoumjian that I was going to do all of this if he didnt contact me and explain or send the beanie so that I had it by Wednesday, July 11th, or I expected a full refund by that same date. I have heard nothing and he has not contacted anyone else as of this posting to explain. I am in the process of emailing other winners from his site to see if the same or similar thing has happened to them with this seller. I will be contacting ebay Fraud tonight to file formal complaint also. Perhaps if more than one complaint comes in Ebay will pull his current items that are on the ebay auctions and have not closed. If anyone has had any dealings with this seller, or can offer any other suggestions on what to do, please feel free to contact me. Ebay used to be a great place to find that special bean that you couldn't find anywhere else. Now it is becoming a haven for rip off artist, scam artist and plain old trash that probably can't make a living anyother way but to do it illegally, sucking poor unsuspecting bidders dry and expecting us to sit back and take it quitely. I am a fighter and have nothing to lose but time so whatever it takes I will follow this through till the end.!

Comments: I felt I needed to respond to Joan Moore's comments as did Mindy. I am most troubled today by the nonchalant way that Ms. Moore chooses to handle the people who are so very upset. Not only does she ignore the pleas of a simple email response from her customers, but she has spun this situation to place herself in the victims position. She is using guilt as a tool to make us feel badly for wanting our products and/or a reasonable explanation of non-delivery. I believe it is horrendous to play on people's emotions in this way. I am a very caring and compassionate person and when I read her "me" page on ebay and found out of the flooding I was horrified that I had sent a polite email asking for a tracking # and ship date (two full weeks after the auction closed!) I felt just awful for for having done that. Then as I noticed her auctions continuing and gaining momentum, I realized something was terribly wrong with this. I filed a fraud report with ebay on Monday evening and got the first email from Joan in over a month (the first was a form letter asking for payment). I was offered the same tired weak and lame excuses as she gave here on traderlist--no offers of refund or shipment of my goods. I am happy to say that there are no Kewlgifts auctions running on ebay since yesterday. I hope this means less grief for others. It has been sad and emotionally draining to be in touch with some of the victims and I hope this is over soon---rest assured if I ever get my stuff, it won't be over even then. If anyone needs a sympathetic ear, please email me to share info etc. I'm very thankful for the nice and supportive people who have been in touch with me---I can't imagine a single one of them being horrible, ugly, threatining or abusive as Joan says. They are just upset to be emotionally and financially jerked around. As Joan told me in her email Monday..her comments are made in the name of "self-preservation". Does that mean that they have to be truthful...... or not?

Comments: I bought a Garcia off ebay. It appeared understuffed and has two different generation hang tags as far as I can tell. The seller's comments on ebay are kept private and nothing adds up. THen, I found Charles Kent on this listing of bad sellers and also on Collector's.com by doing a simple Altavista search. He is apparently known for selling fake hangtags. He is selling a number of old beanies on ebay, and they do not look right to me. I think I have been swindled for $37.50, and he has not answered my email to date 'tho it has not been too long since I sent it. This deal smells to me -- now that all the facts are rolling in: post office box instead of address, carelessly packed item, two gnerations of tags, etc.

Comments: After 3 months, mounds of paperwork and a Victim of Mike Ward's I can finally say I got my money back on the "Famous Counterfeit Sakura 4FWEZTKT and Nipponia (Fake ???)" I became a victim of his on February 13, 2001 when I won an auction on Ebay. My credit card conducted their investigation and determined "an error did occur and the credit to my account has been made final" To anyone that purchased a Counterfeit whether it be a SAKURA, LIBEARTY, BRITANNIA, RADAR, EVEN BESSIE, etc. before returning them be sure to take pictures of the counterfeit, make hard copies of the auction, bill of sale, emails you receive or complaints you see posted on the seller and especially keep the tape recording if they are dumb enough to leave a rude message on your answering machine. Look and Read their feedback closely but don't let it fool you. These Sellers of Counterfeits know exactly what they are selling and when they get caught get very rude and act like they are the Victims. When returning the worthless bags of beans the cheapest way is to ship Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation as you have already spent enough on postage getting the FAKE to you so why spend more? In my case the COUNTERFEITS / ??? were returned to this "GENTLEMAN" (and I use this word very loosely") claims he never rec'd the beanies / fakes back. Even with delivery confirmation that they were delivered to his address. Now everybody is lying except him even the UNITED STATES POSTAL SERVICE. After filing my Ebay FRAUD report on 4-5-01 (which WAS concluded in my favor) I rec'd a telephone call from Mike Ward which he claims that I called him. (Hey Mike check your phone bill) He was very rude and stated "He was losing his shorts over these beanies." He called again on 4-8-01 and was dumb enough to leave a rude maybe threatning message on my answering machine (which I have) and called again on 6-11-01. MIKE WARD IF YOU ARE READING THIS AS I AM SURE THAT YOU WILL SINCE PAT YOUR MEDIATOR, THAT YOU HAVE FOOLED ALSO WILL SEND IT TO YOU ""DO NOT CALL MY HOME AGAIN"" To anyone who has purchased a Counterfeit from him and have not rec'd their money back but sent the beanies back to him, please contact Attorney General Bill Lockyer, State of California, Department of Justice, Public Inquiry Unit, P.O. Box 944255, Sacramento,Ca. 94244-2550 or by phone 916-322-3360. The floods, interruption of mail service and missing payments are not an excuse, it's a fact. Losing product due to the water is a fact. Replacing the product, coordinating shipping, answering a high volume of emails is a huge undertaking. Yes, the email is back logged due to the volume recently...the repeat email, the mass emails some users are sending has created a problem. Yes,some of the negative feedback is too personal and very offensive. No one is being ignored, and all the back orders are being shipped. We are receiving physical threats, hate email, vulgarities, have been slandered, and have been associated with other sellers we know nothing about. Every post put on the "ME" has been at eBay's suggestion to help inform the public. Every post is accurate and candid. All buyers and sellers of TY products should heed her advice and boycott ebay and it's policies supporting the selling of counterfeit items for monetary gain. Myself and 6 other people are taking Mrs. Mohr to court to sue for civil damages, since we have emails and MANY postings going back 3 years. The common strategy of these people is to email you from alias names and threaten you, usually saying that your beanies are fake, you could go to jail, and other scare tactics. These are very veiled threats, and I can put a tracer on them, if they are forwarded to me. A few people seem to have taken it upon themselves to be employed by TY and eBay. I spoke to my friends lawyer myself Friday, explained the situation, and he said we have a clear case on her given all the proof I have to sue for slander, interference with a business, and many other charges that we are working on establishing. Anyone who can afford to fly to Illinois for court and testify is more than welcome to come with us (We have 6 people already going). If you need financial help, we will also be willing to help, maybe work out a deal with the airline on a group fare, and help fly you in and put you up for the night. (If you are awarded damages, you will be ordered to have your air fare reimbursed.) I have a VERY sophisticated hacker working with me, and any mails from the altavista or any other address forwarded to me CAN be traced back to the original emailed, ad long as we have emails from them (and most likely them do). This is another of them there sellers who doesn't know that the seller has the responsibility to authenticate what might be countrrfeits. Sorry dearie but if your beanies are counterfeits no sale is final (illegal though, and against BigBay policy) and if caught you might have to hand over some of your hard-earned beanie monies to make restitution.

That authenticated Royal Blue Peanut on auction still has almost three days to go before the auction ends and the high bid is still sitting at $1400.00. Betcha it goes higher.

She has so much time now to follow me so closely I wonder why she was unreachable for the eleven days I sent countless e-mails. Clearly she has a serious mental problem. Due to the conditions in our area of the city and mail interruption, our normal business operations were affected. As of 6-28, we are still receiving payments post marked the first week of June. There was no mail service in our area from 6-08-01, and until 6-19-01. A high volume of orders are shipped everyday and we are back on track! Please, people, do not give us negative if we don't have your payment or reply fast enough to your email. Be patient and we'll reply as quickly as possible. Many people have repeatedly emailed over and over asking," isn't the flooding over"? YES, the flood is over. The damage is not. We lost 2 complete systems, a warehouse full of stock, 1 car, etc. It's disheartening the number of ugly emails we have received because of individuals impatience, disbelief, thinking we are dishonest, or ignoring them. I am 21. And a biomedical engineering student selling for the summer. I had no idea how difficult buyers can be. I cannot type 400 emails a day explaining to everyone what happened. It was all over the national news and I issued a public statement at the "ME" like eBay ask. I couldn't find the paypal, because they didn't generate a receipt to me, and I had to go through literally hundreds of payments in my "History" to locate it. With the auction not ending until July 10, the bids, the last time I looked, were up to $1,400.00 with some hot bidding going on. Quite a difference, huh? Ditto for an authentic "Steg" beanie baby. There is one selling on the BigBay now. The authenticator for both is well recognized so the auctions are legit.

on Jun 8th after going through paypal i found that i did pay for the beanie the first time. I called Dale up to ask for a refund and where my beanie was since his email stated that he had them in hand. He told me that he was going to refund both transactions because he really didn't have the beanies in hand. He said he would refund by Tuesday 6/12. On 6/15 I called again saying that i haven't received my refund and again he said he would do it that day. Then I called on 6/20 talked to Jim at the store and he said Dale wasn't there and he doesn't know the paypal password but he would get it from him that day and issue me a refund. I called on 6/27 Jim told me the same thing, i told him i was angry and he said i had every right to be but he can't get ahold of his boss to get the passwords. I just called him on 7/2 and told him I was filing a case with local authorities & the FBI and he told me to "go ahead try." I gave him 1 more hour to get in contact with his boss (or call me with an update) to get the password and refund my $142. It has now been 3 hours and nothing. I have been trying to get a refund for almost 30 days now and everytime I call i get the same thing.... today i will refund your money, i guarantee. BEWARE OF THIS BUYER!!!!!!

On the 18th May, I saw an add on the Big Bean saying that Margaret was in Hospital.
On the 19th May, I emailed Margaret saying that I was sorry that she had been taken ill, and could she let me know if she had managed to mail her end of the trade.
Margaret emailed me on the 22nd May, to say that she had been in hospital, and that several of her trades went out late, and that she had got mine all ready to mail on the next Wednesday (her next payday as she was broke from not working due to her stay in hospital.
She also said that she had received the 8 Disney from me and that they were all great.
She said mine should be with me soon, as it didn't usually take more than 5 days to the UK.
On the 1st of June I emailed Margaret again to let her know that I had still not received the 8 Patriot's.
Margaret emailed telling me to hang in there, that the parcel was mailed on the Wednesday.
On the 6th June. I emailed Margaret again telling her that it had been 2 weeks since she said that she had mailed the parcel, and I had still not received it.
She told me that she was going to have the package traced as I should have received it. Either way I would get my package, because she would send me another one on the Monday after she had spoken to the post office.
On the 8th June I emailed her again, letting her know that I had seen the bad feedback on the traders list, and that I was very concerned, and could she let me know the tracking number of the parcel.
She emailed me back to say that she did not have a tracking number for the parcel, and that she would send me another parcel with the 8 Issy's on Monday.
I emailed her back to tell her that it was 8 Patriot's that we had traded for not 8 Issy's?
On the 21st of June I emailed her again to let her know that I had still not received any parcel from her, she told me that she had definitely posted it on Thursday.
I told her that I would give her the benefit of the doubt, but that if I did not receive any parcel within 1 week, then I would contact the Fraud department.
I have not heard from Margaret since, and it is now the 3rd July, and I have still not received any parcel from her, and I do intend to get in touch with the Police department in PA because this woman has scammed too many people.

March 2001 was one of the few times I was able to actually reach her by phone, and I asked her to just sent the Beanies back, and she agreed.

Since then her e-mail isn’t working anymore, and her phone has been disconnected.

I have filled complaints with the FBI Internet Fraud section, and with the Post Office.

According to Shannon’s husband (I was able to talk to him in April 2001, before their phone got disconnected), Shannon had moved to Florida, and he had sent all her stuff including my Beanies to her in Florida.

Shannon used to sell on e-bay and smart colleting (user id “smauldin”).

Comments: I won a Louis Vuitton wallet from this person on Yahoo Auction on May 21, 2001. After receiving it, thought it was real, ordered three more from her. However, after I paid her $708 (including insurance for $700 worth), I decided to take the wallet won earlier to a Louis Vuitton store to be authenticated. The salesperson verbally confirmed that it was indeed a counterfeit. This was already a week before I received the three LVs ordered. I emailed her and asked if she hasn't mail me those three LVs to forget about sending them to me and give my money back. She refused to refund and said she has no idea they were fake LVs. She said if I have not received them with 2 weeks, then she will resend identical items ordered. I keep telling her that I don't want them anymore and want my money back. She continues to say "no money back policy". I told her if she had purchase insurance, she would be the one to make a claim with the postal office if the item sent was lost!
She denies everything and said USPS told her that I would be the one to file and get my money back from them. I sent her a link to USPS policy on filing insurance for lost item, she filed harrassment charges against me. Anyway, I have filed all necessarry complaints with the appropriate authorities and emailed her on all recent news about people being arrested for selling counterfeits and CC ing her attorney also (AttyDore60@aol.com). I hope he is able to defend her once they arrested her for selling counterfeit Louis Vuitton. Today is 6/30/01 I still have not receive anything from her or a refund.
