Comments: This is an update on the fraud issue. I received notification from Paypal that this was indeeed a fraud issue and they have refunded all of my money. I do not know the name of the person that stole my password to gain access to my account, I only know the email address of the buyer involved in the ebay auction that prompted this. With the help of Pat Edgerton from the traderlist, emails supporting the transaction were forwarded to Paypal this lead to a decision in my favour. I thank everyone that emailed me with help, the toll free phone number for Paypal, and all the support. Continue to stay safe on the internet, check and re-check names and addresses of the buyers and sellers, and most of all (this goes out especially to the sellers on ebay) if anything looks suspecious, then check it out. I was not involved in the buying nor the selling, I was just the abused one, but thankfully this worked out. Good Luck to all.

Comments: I recieved notice from Paypal today regarding the above person. They found in my favour as she didn't respond to their investigation/e-mails they sent. I have still not gotten any response from her. They were unable to refund me because there was insufficient funds in her account.
Today I contacted the police where she lives today to file a report. He wasn't surprised I called, as he got a few other complaints.

Comments: This is to update that I received my money back from Yavett. I was able to resolve this due to the quick action taken by Detective Christensen at Idaho State Police --- much appreciation and thanks go to him. Thanks also to Pat at traderlist who was very helpful and to all the people who contacted me and gave their support. Appropriate feedback has been left on ebay for Yavett for the nightmare she put me through and she should understand the reasoning for it. She very promptly received my money, within 2 days from auction end, and I was only expecting to receive my item not go through such a bad experience. Therefore any retaliatory feedback on her part is not warranted. Whatever occurred was her own doing and I did give her opportunity to make it right. I just want to put this behind now and updating as I had indicated to finalize and also if it may help someone else in a similar situation. We all want to trade safely and have the right to expect this. My advice to anyone facing a situation like this please take action, be persistent and don't give up.

Comments: I have been waiting since December 2002 for Angie Bikliqi's part
of our trade (14 Disneys & 2 Disney pins for a total of $238.78 Cdn).
Angie received my end of the trade (20 Disney pins & 7 Disney beanbags)
on Jan.11/03. I sent her an e-mail on Feb. 2/03 requesting that I would give
her until the end of February to complete her end of the trade. Several more
e-mails were sent to Angie requesting updates as to when she is mailing my
package. The last e-mail I received from her was on March 11/03 stating that
"there will be a parcel sent off for you on Monday or Tuesday (Mar.17or18)
without fail". There has been no correspondence from Angie since nor has
any package shown up here. While I don't hold much hope of ever seeing her
end of the trade, I would like to caution traders when dealing with this
individual who has turned out to be very unreliable in her trading
practices.

Comments: I purchased Ty Cards from Mike Zeglin and he accepted payment plus
money for insurance. I sent the money and enclosed a note that I had paid
for insurance. I also sent him a e-mail telling him I wanted insurance and
had sent him a payment with insurance included. He did not insure package
so I asked him for the insurance money back and he would not do it. We all
know what money is due us when we sell items. He acted like it was my fault
because he did not see the note which the note was big enough for any one
to notice. He was hoping I would be happy getting my item and would not notice
that he did not insure. I feel I am not the first he has pulled this on.
I see he has 18 negatives. For some reason he gets away with this and continues
to sell on e-bay because he sells a lot and is a power seller. The amount
is not enough to try and get help and charge him, but I hope this might save
some one else from losing even a penny from Mike Zeglin, Maple Plain, MN.

I found that one had a badly creased tag. I informed him about it, and gave
him a neutral feedback. He became outraged and gave me a negative feedback
for no reason, then blantantly refused to refund my money or send a replacement.
Then he sent me horrible e-mails telling me to do inappropriate things with
the beanies and calling me names. This is the rudest, most obnoxious seller
I have ever dealt with!! Beware...

Two sides to every story... this person e-mailed me stating that her beanie
had a non-mint tag.

"Neutral : O.K. - Shipping was kind of slow, and one of the beanies has

I followed up with..
"Complaint : shipped witin 48 business hours of payment, sad to see this
kind of complaint"
Her payment was received on Thursday and we shipped on Monday.. this is not
considered slow shipping. We may have shipped a minor tag bend, but not a
creased tag. I can assure you we check all tags before shipping, but like
I said in my e-mail we can exchange if you are not satisfied, we check all
tags before shipping, but sometimes miss one.
This person did not even give me a chance to make things right.. even though
I responded to her e-mail 18 minutues later. I have always had a company
policy that once a person chooses feedback instead of trying to work things
out, she has chosen to end the transaction. She later made demands for a
refund and sent very rude e-mails, and yes I told here where she could put
the beanie. All she had to do was accept my offer for a replacement beanie.
I have hundreds of these beanies in stock and this much trouble is not worth
a $3.00 beanie. Bottom line here - people need to relax and try and work
things out before jumping into feedback, most sellers will work with you
untill you take the feedback path, and then end of story.

Comments: I just wanted to follow-up on Mike Ward's response to my complaint. First of all, he is a really good liar. He lied that my payment was received on Thursday - it was Wednesday. Two business days later would be Friday. Also, he took about 4 hours to e-mail a response to my complaint about the beanie's tag, not 18 minutes. Also, I did not demand anything from him. I ASKED him for a refund for the damaged beanie. The tag is creased, not bent. Anyone could tell the difference. I have undisputable proof of all of these facts. I tried to be nice to him, but it is hard to be polite when someone is being so rude and despicable towards you.
And where are these so-called policies that Mike speaks of? What kind of good trader puts a ridiculous restriction on their return policy? I left him a neutral feedback, so that negates his return policy? A $3.00 beanie is not worth the trouble??? That is a wonderful attitude to have when that $3.00 beanie is helping him pay his bills. And once again, I will re-state that I left him an honest, well-deserved neutral feedback. Leaving me a negative just because I was honest about his service is hypocritical and malicious.

References given are on ebay under screamkid22. Both of these ads have now been removed. On March 27th at 4:55 he is now using the User Id of BillyLoomis new email address is billyloomis1133@aol.com When you check references for this email address on ebay it comes up with the references for screamkid22 .

Comments: This is in response to the post Rick Metal put against Julie Vaisey who was ripped off by rmmc_enterprises. Rick Metal of rmmc_enterprises did send me a money order for the two fake beanies I was sold in April of 2001 and I have fought for over 19 months ro get this money back. He didn't just send it as I had to fight him every step of the way for over a year and a half for this.
He has told you that he sent her money back less ebay fees which is unfair
on his part because he filed a non paying bidder complaint against Julie
to get his ebay fees back from ebay already so he is getting the fees twice
by doing this to Julie and she's not the problem here it's Rick Metal who
doesn't know how to treat his customers and makes them have to fight for
what they paid for. He always blames the buyer when it's his fault and likes
to blame the Post Office when people do not get what they pay for as well.
I had to put a 60 day hold on the money he sent me because he himself told
me how easy it was to put a stop payment on the bank money orders and that's
the reason he sends that kind. He has verbally abused me and threatened me
for a long time before he finally sent the money and I still don't know if
it will clear the bank. For him to take any money away from Julie is just
being a crook again as it was clearly his mistake in the first place for
not sending her what she paid for and has done this far too often with his
customers. I will submit a brief message when and IF the money clears the
bank. I received the second money order he said he sent as the first one
never came and know he never even sent it so he lied to me and has lied to
Julie twice already and if she doesn't get this one it will be lie number
three. He sent her less than what he owes her so please fight him to make
sure you get ALL your money back.

As you can see from my previous postings, this guy has cheated me out of $99.40. Because he is one of eBay's "power sellers" he had eBay remove the negative feedback I left for him. He says in his last comment about me that if anyone has any problems with him, just e-mail him and he will take care of it. Well, I have been e-mailing him since December and I still have nothing to show for it. I have heard from several other people who have been burned by him, that when he gets in a bind like this, he simply changes his name and goes on with business as usual. Someone even e-mailed me today with information on where I can find him on Saturday mornings in Cupertino, CA. It might be worth the trip! DO NO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON!!! HE IS A HUGE LIAR AND WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY! I have filed charges with the US Postal Service, the BBB and the Attorney General. Tomorrow I am contacting law enforcement officials in his town. Comments: This bidder sent a personal check to me back in December for RC Cars. She stated that she did NOT receive the cars. I asked her for all of her information,etc. As I had no record of her in my postal log I asked Julie for a copy of the check to see if indeed it was cashed by me. After finally receiving a copy of the check in the mail I told her I would check against my deposits and if indeed I DID make a mistake I would send her a refund. I have/had every intention of refunding her money(even though I believe her cars were shipped to an alternative address perhaps included on her payment). Instead, Ms Vaisey decided to maliciously go onto ebay and bid on 3 of my auctions totaling some 397.00 and left negative feedback the day she bid in retaliation for this past transaction! I have every intention of refunding her money and will gladly do so by taking it out of the items she bid on OR I will deduct ebay fees and associated relist fees. I am not out here to defraud anybody in any way shape or form...we all make mistakes but there are more professional and adult ways of dealing with such.

Comments: Hi, I was contacted by Don via the BBOT (Ty Site.) He claimed to be selling some rare oldies (Chilly, Peking, Trap, etc...) for cheap prices. He says that they were inherited & just wanted to get rid of them since he had so many. Needless to say, he couldn't provide any references or people's names or email addresses of previous sales. (Even though he claimed to have sold beanies to other BBOT members.) I asked him to send at least 1 beanie first for me to inspect (since I had many references to provide him with), but he refused. So, I posted an ad on the BBOT asking for info. on him...was contacted by another trader saying that they had received FAKE beanies from him & are currently working with the MI police to try to get their money back. I've also heard of this happening with at least one other person too. So, thankfully, I was warned ahead of time by K. Johnson (who has posted about Don as well), before it was too late! I just wanted to warn other traders like myself.

I asked her for all of her information,etc. As I had no record of her in my postal log I asked Julie for a copy of the check to see if indeed it was cashed by me. After finally receiving a copy of the check in the mail I told her I would check against my deposits and if indeed I DID make a mistake I would send her a refund. I have/had every intention of refunding her money(even though I believe her cars were shipped to an alternative address perhaps included on her payment). Instead, Ms Vaisey decided to maliciously go onto ebay and bid on 3 of my auctions totaling some 397.00 and left negative feedback the day she bid in retaliation for this past transaction! I am not out here to defraud anybody in any way shape or form...we all make mistakes but there are more professional and adult ways of dealing with such.

When the auction ended I received payment from Anita and cashed it and gave my friend the ok to mail the bear, at which time she had told me that she had sold it to a secondary dealer and she either couldn't, wouldn't or didn't get it back, heck at this point I don't know what has happened there, we haven't spoken since the day the refund was mailed.
I couldn't make contact with the buyer until I had some answers for her because I didn't know what to tell her and because Up4Trade.com had been brought into it. I couldn't make any statements until I had a chance to talk to my partner in Up4trade.com so that he didn't hear about this through someone else first. He was either having mail trouble or on vacation or just wasn't getting my mail until the other day (I found out then that he has been having mail trouble).
I knew that by that time I was in way over my head and I should have listened to my gut in the beginning when it told me not to sell something for someone else, it was a bad idea all the way around but I thought that I was doing something good. The traderlist was involved, Up4Trade.com was involved ... how could I come forward and tell anyone what happened, I was embarrassed for letting it happen, ashamed because I knew better and it gotton out of hand.
She and I finally went to the bank with Anita's money and I watched her staple
the cashiers check to a piece of paper, fold it and put it in an envelope
while I filled out the certified information at the post office and finally
it was done. Anita would get her money back and I learned some very tough
lessons ... you can trust someone with your life but not your reputation
obviously.

First I want to state I would be the first person to commend anyone who takes responsibility for one's actions and apologize, cause it does take a lot to do that. I just question the truth and sincerity of hers though, as seems once cornered only then acknowledged and decided to refund my money. I haven't received this money yet but when I do I will update on traderlist. I just wanted to make note that I gave ample opportunity for her to explain and tried in every way to reach her. I very promptly sent my payment which she has been holding since 02/28/03. She told me she would send the item by courier on 03/03/03 and forward me the tracking number right after. She never did do that and hasn't made contact since 02/28/03. It certainly has been a nightmare because I thought I was out over $1600 and nothing received for it. I tried in every way to reach her, believe me I did, and so did traderlist. She just never once attempted to contact me once she had cashed my money. I just wonder why she gave me false information about her true identity when her ebay file confirmed who she really was. Why when I contacted up4trade (which I believe she was replying as Admin) she stated the address they just recently moved to and don't know who was there before (when I said my payment was received at that address which is same as up4trade's)? Why then emails sent to her started to bounce (not only to me but traderlist as well)? Why when I phoned her on 03/10/03 she denied having an auction for the item in question, and then when realized who I was hung up on me. Why when police contacted her on 03/11/03 only then she acknowledged and agreed to refund my money? The item in the auction is also in question too as has been found out that someone else has this particular numbered bear signed to someone else, other than what Yavett stated. So was there a bear to begin with, whether hers or someone else's, would be my question. I don't think there was and would have much rather heard this admission than her now covering up this fact. I'm sorry but the victim is the buyer not the seller. And if now I am getting my refund back, it's only because I persistently pursued this by contacting the authorities as all her actions pointed to that I was being taken. All my part in this was I bid on an auction and expected to receive my item and never did...instead I got a nightmare.

Good news! Today, 13 March 2003, Christopher Alex Johnson entered pleas of guilt on 35 separate charges in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario Canada. Charges included possession of credit card data, fraud and attempt fraud of merchants in Sault Ste. Marie using stolen credit card data and use of such data. He was also convicted of "Spamming" Traderlist by interfering with the lawful use and operation of property to wit Traderlist.com. He also plead guilty to possession of computer passwords enabling him to commit the offence of possessing credit card data, possession of property obtained by crime to wit: user id's and passwords from Paypal.com. He also was convicted with bail violations concerning his flight from outstanding charges in Ottawa, Ontario.
Johnson has been convicted and sentenced to a period of 11 months incarceration (jail time) with a 2 year period of probation to follow. Because he has been in custody since his arrest he was credited with pre sentence time and will serve an additional three months from this date. The judge emphasized deterrence in his sentencing and placed Johnson on probation for 2 years after he is released from jail ( and this will start after he has served all his time as he is still facing numerous fraud charges in Ottawa yet to be heard). His probation order included reporting to a probation officer, making financial restitution to merchants defrauded (over $4000.00) AND he has been ordered not to use, possess or access in any way any computer (as defined in the Criminal Code of Canada) and is barred from any access or use of the internet what so ever. To quote the judge "he is out of the computer business". We do not expect him to abide by these conditions and any evidence of him returning to the internet will be pursued vigorously.
I expect Johnson to be transferred via the correctional system back to Ottawa shortly to face numerous fraud charges stemming from fraudulent internet trades. I expect he will be convicted there as well.
Thank you for all of your assistance with this investigation. Your information helped in getting one of the few convictions in this country for "Spamming" as a type of mischief to property. The service you provide is invaluable - please commend everyone involved! You have my utmost appreciation! Please feel free to post or disseminate this information.

Comments: Just wanted to let everyone know in case they did not, that traderlist has a good traders list also. Many are only aware of our bad traders list but our good traders list is the oldest on the internet. Older than cn and knk. And you do not even have to be a member of good traders list to get help with a complaint or post message on this message board. These fees pay for the webpage upkeep. we work for free and do not charge for helping with bad trades. The other sites could go down like knk and cn and many others since beanies and collectibles started on internet but traderlist was here long before all of them and will be here when they are gone. Membership to the Good Trader Database is $15.00 for the first year, and after the first year it is $10.00 a year to maintain. Most auction sites only allow you to leave references from that particular site. Using Traderlist, you can have references left from ANY auction site, so you can combine all your great references in one place! Also, if for any reason Traderlist was to ever close down, all members would receive their feedback. You have worked hard to earn this feedback, and it belongs to you. You can have hundreds of references listed. Using a database to store your references provides some internet privacy for you. You have to know the email address of the person you are looking for to find them, there is no list to go by. This also cuts down on spam mailings.

I sent my money order by UPS express on 02/27/03 which she received at her address Coeur d alene, ID 83814 on 02/28/03 and cashed. She has my money, hasn't sent out anything as was supposed to by UPS express on 03/03/03 with tracking number forwarded but never contacted me, nothing received nor returned my money as per numerous requests. She won't respond to my emails and her phone contact information that she gave and is on her ebay file is suspect. I am out a considerable amount of money and reporting to all authorities. The irony is that he would not quote me insurance costs; he also would not advise me of how he was shipping, etc. I merely suggested that if he was charging $5.95 to ship one beanie that if it had a tag protector on it (sparkles), and was placed in a baggie it should arrive in good shape. I sent payment for a pre-sale Master Replicas Count Dooku lightsaber Signature Edition on September 30, 2002. However, this seller has never sent the item. I have filed a complaint with IFCC, eBay, Beaufort Police Dept. and SquareTrade so far. Eventough the seller ignored the email from SquareTrade, soon after I sent email using terms "felony", "prosecution", and etc, the seller got chickened out and emailed me back recently.
Accoding to the seller, the item was ordered but never came in. The seller asked me to allow a refund by installments since he/she lost business. I emailed the seller that if he/she can provide a proof that the item was acutally ordered, I would allow a reimbursement by installments. The seller couldn't provide any proof and still asked me to accept installments. Andalora had no intention of sending the item in the first place and has kept my money ($470) for over 6 months with 0% APR.

Comments: I had posted on addiesattic a camera for sale and this morning I find a nasty letter from addiesattic stating that it was prohibited by law and not appropriate and therefore I am suspended. Good heavens, I could understand if I had used some bad language or been offensive in any way but that CERTAINLY IS NOT THE CASE! Maybe we should have addiesattic taken off the internet for using that as a target for nothing done wrong. I can't believe such narrow minded people and the least they could have done is notify me instead ot suspending me. You might have to pay a little for www.up4trade.com but it is worth it as you don't have to go through this kind of stuff. I hope everybody reads this and maybe addiesattic won't be so narrow minded.

So, I paid the full price of it and I got another box of english words but the cards were not upper deck. He should have the decency to put up the correct picture of the box. He probably knew that the price he was asking for was way too much for the fake upper deck cards. The sad part is that he left a bad review on my account. I bid once in a while and never received a bad review. I pay everyone the time I get the confirmation emails. I was a good customer and does not deserve his slander. Comments: I entered into a trade agreement with Michelle Graver and sent my part of the trade on 1-28-03 and she said that she also had sent hers to me that same date and that is the date that we agreed on. Mine was delivered to her on 2-4-93 according to her message to me. She said that she received the package that day. I had sent her several Emails informing her that I had not received the package that she stated she sent on the 28th. I sent 3 emails with no replies. On 2-18, she finally got back to me since I told her that I was going to report her on this site as being a bad trader by not following through with her end of our trade. On this date, she stated she was having problems with customs and that she dreaded thinking what they were going to charge her in back duty/undeclared earnings etc. She further stated that she has not been online for the last few weeks due to health problems and that she would mail on 2-19 but it would be sent from someone by the name of Kerry Mayne and of course she would have to furnish the address later. On 2-26, I once again messaged her informing her of my intention to contact this site and at least get her listed as a bad trader. Beware of this one as she has a lot of positive feedback on up4trade.com site. She IS A BAD TRADER and she is from the UK. I have all of her personal information and also all her messages especially the one that states that she actually did receive my package to her.

The names of Denise and Michelle Jackson (which Christine had been using) are those of her two daughters. Christine had been using them to continue her notorious practices, most likely because Ebay would not let her back under her own name. One party leads us to believe that her daughters are unaware to this day that she has been using their names and destroying their reputations world-wide.
There is a new concern, please beware of the following name:NICOLE FLOROS. Christine Jackson has had this name attached to a PAYPAL account, and is using this name to receive payments. Parties have been requested to mail checks for payment for Christine’s auctions in this name to Christine’s home address.

Unfortunately I have a list at the moment of 6 sellers who have said haven't received money or won't send goods, is all buisness in America so fraught with danger because if so I believe you're the last seller I will buy fromt on the USA ebay list.
Sorry if I sound terse or fragmented your email has completely floored me. I have spent over $1000.00 in the on the USA ebay in the last 2-3 weeks, at least half is looking unsure of coming to me. I am very disappointed with the American ebay and I realize now why items I have bid on are devoid of buyers. I am new to Ebay trading and have found Europe the only place to buy.
I have purchased over 20 items in the last 3 weeksfrom Europe and all have returned as expected cash or otherwise. The return of service from Europe is by far superior to the USA ebay. This is a topic I shall be discussing with Ebay shortly when I go to them with my numerous complaints with regards tecqniques of bad selling (i.e. I send money for airmail and they send overland).
Meanwhile I will continue my search for your email and let you know in
due course. Please don't be offended by anything I may have written it is
not directed at you directly I just need to express what I feel. At the end
outcome you may not be in error, so please understand I am not accusing you

Comments: On February 18th I responded to an ad place on BBOT by Marcella Taylor from Chicago, Illinois using the id of angel17. She had buddies at 3/$10.00. I agreed to purchase Cranberry, Bronty and Employee Buddies for $10.00 and shipping of $6.50. I asked if these were MWMT and did not receive a response immediately. I had told her I would send the money order the next day and I mailed it on February 19th true to my word. On February 20th she emailed to say NO they were not MINT and offered a refund when the money order arrived. I waited until Monday and emailed to see if payment had been received with no response. I posted on BBOT asking if anyone had purchased from the ads she had placed. I received 2 responses stating that they had previously ordered from her and that she was very slow but they finally did get their orders from her. Finally on the 25th she emailed to say she had received payment and would be returning it uncashed on the 26th of February. We live approx 200 miles from each other and I still do not have the refund. I have emailed with no response. I had told her in an email on Monday, March 3rd that unless refund was received in Tueday, March 4th's mail that I would post her as a bad seller and report it to traderlist. I have done my part and am now true to my word. I like to treat others as I want to be treated. This seller is unfriendly and uncourteous her buyers. I would like my refund and should have had it returned in a timely manner.. I say buyers beware of this seller.

$330. She had me hold it until her boyfriend's birthday in Jan. I mailed
it when she requested, and it turned out he had gotten a Tag Hauer watch
for his birthday from his parents. Thus they wanted to return the watch.
I said if my vendor would take the watch back, then that would be fine, as
I guarantee my auctions.
This buyer claimed that the watch was defective, per another jeweler, and
left me negative feedback. Turns out that she bought another watch, from
another seller on eBay, backed out and bought one from me instead. Then she
wanted her money back from me!
This is not a game. We who sell do these auctions sincerely (in most cases)
and tire of dealing with disreputable buyers and sellers as well.
Watch out for this buyer. She is not honest, nor worth the trouble as she
changes her mind constantly, and the seller becomes her victim.

Bought a handbag advertised and guaranteed as authentic Louis Vuitton from ebay seller retailbgone item #2810101291. Received the fake bag, contacted seller, and was promised a full refund. Seller admitted via email that the bag was fake. Returned the bag via USPS delivery confirmation and the seller refuses to refund my money. She said that "one of the kids" must have got it when it was delivered to her residence, therefore she is absolved from any responsibility. What a scammer. I am jumping through all the reporting an mediation hoops, but will prosecute if necessary.

trade for Herschels. I traded her two Kanata bears for two Herschels. I sent
the bears out and she told me she sent my Herschel's out priority mail and
would email me a delivery confirmation. Which she never did. After a week
of waiting I e-mailed her back and to my amazement my e-mail was returned
to me saying her e-mail address was closed.
