Comments: I had purchased and paid for 10 Abercrombie jackets $650.00 thru Ioffer, they never sent the items. They were recently arrested in Naussau NY for internet fraud for $27,000 with Ebay, Ioffer..etc. Been in contact with seller and she lies about shipment, confronted her about her arrest (which can be found by googling her name Maren Kozbial ), she stated that the charges were dropped. I am currently working with the investigator on her case and he told me the case is very much open against her. At the end she closed up shop on Ioffer the same week after I exposed her but she did scam 20+ people during this time period. If you were one of these victims contact me and i'll give your all the info and contacts to report her.

Comments: Beware of this seller on ebay. Once he gets your money you never hear from hime again. I won an auction and paid via paypal and have never received my item. I filed a complaint with ebay and paypal. Ebay does nothing as usual but I did paid with credit card so I have filed a complaint with them. The guy has several negatives.

I couldn't believe it when I received this email from AC last week, full of the usual false promises to deliver already delayed goods and introducing a new "sales manager" who will supposedly help restore the company's service levels and reputation. AC should be a little more discerning as to who they choose to send such emails to; I have not ordered anything from them for two years and I am a disgruntled customer! I can't believe their nerve in sending me such an email! I never received any goods from them, after more than four months of promises and bogus bonus offers. I never received a refund directly from the company. I only received one after my bank pursued them with a credit card chargeback in March 2004.

I'm posting this email here as further warning of AC's continual lies. Given their track record of inventing things, I wouldn't be surprised if the new "sales manager" is in fact simply a product of Mark and Maryanne's imagination?! For any customer who has received this recent email and who has not yet received their goods, DO NOT BELIEVE THE PROMISES CONTAINED IN THE EMAIL! AC will NOT deliver!!! I urge you to try to get a refund through paypal or your bank ASAP.

Well, the holidays are almost upon us and Americana Couture hit the proverbial bump in the road this year. Unfortunately, as a consequence many orders have been delayed. We are, however, diligently trying to clear everything up and make sure everyone receives their orders in as timely a manner as we can. This is the number one goal and each of you is a priority.

Lets get to some recent changes. Maryanne has left on emergency leave for an extended period of time. Fortunately she remains our creative guru, but she will not be in the office. We have changed management. I, Mark, am the new sales manager. I have worked in marketing and publicity in the past. I also have retail experience. I will do my best to resolve your personal delivery issues or any other problems so that you remain a satisfied client.

In addition, at the beginning of November 2005, we hired a new CFO, working through an affiliate company. This person has over 30+ years of financial management. She has joined our team because she believes in our product. We are now endeavoring to overcome past shortcomings. For you new customers, rest assured that your orders are being processed, manufactured, and shipped within the time limits stated. For our loyal past clients we are doing all we can to get your orders out to you as soon as we can and as quickly as we can.

Besides changing management, we are also moving. This has also been a distraction, but we feel that we are almost back on track.Because we feel that you, our clients, are our most important asset, and because we sincerely regret any delays in shipment of pending orders, we would like to offer the following:

Comments: The current home page of the website for Americana Couture is hilarious. It says Maryanne is away on a "family emergency". Why don't they tell the truth and say she's in jail for bankruptcy fraud? Hmmm, they don't tell you that she's been recently convicted of 54 counts of illegal sale of securities, three counts of fraudulent schemes and artifices and a single count of illegally conducting an enterprise.

The website says everyone who has not received their orders will be getting them soon. I hope those of you that have been waiting for month and years do get yours but I wouldn't be holding my breath. I find the whole pack of lies recently posted on the www.americanacouture.com website quite sickening!
