I made a trade with Chris Paxson and he said he would mail out a dusty beanie baby on monday and now I have not recieved. He recieved my beanies today as I used dc# 03030130000135985054    I have emailed him numerous times asking him to please send me mailing info. He has not answered my emails. I sent him 2 beanie babies a buckingham and fvs both valuable beanies. He has good feedback on ebay under paxson69 that is why I made the trade with him. I seen his add on ty bbot under beaniepa. I am hoping maybe if he recieves a email from you it might get his attention and he may send me back my beanies or send me the intended trade offer. Please Help! Susan

I have been burned by many people in the past. I only mail out my part of the trade once I receive there part of the deal. As of today, Monday May 19, I have yet to receive the for mentioned beanies. Cautionlist: Please note that when Chris wrote this email to me he had already received the beanies 4-5 days before this email. This can be proved by checking the delivery confirmation. Also in his trading with these others he never said he would send theirs after he received -- in fact he gave them dates he was sending and they were in the trade that they were all to be sending at the same time.

over a week ago we had agreed to trade beanie babies I was to send 4 (pompey, mugungwha, bunga raya, and wales) (about 100.00 dollars worth which I had paid for them) and he was to send in return dusty well I sent them last wed may 14th and I emailed him 3 or 4 times and he never emailed me or sent the beanie and now I don’t have either of them.  I know he got my package and I would really like mine back if I could get them back. please help me if you can thank you

Hi Trudy,

My name is Theresa and I am Chris's fiancee. I read the e-mail that we recieved and I was wondering if you could send me a copy of all the e-mails in question because we have none in our e-mails. There was a period of time in May when we were without a computer because the computer that we had for some reason got a virus and crashes. We had to purchase another pc and unfortunately we lost all e-mail that was on the other pc. This might not help much but it is the truth. Chris has always fulfilled a trade or purchase that he makes. I do remember Chris going to the post office around May 15 and he also took a package to the post office later that same day. The package in question could be on it's way still. Problems do happen with the mail service. In reguards to the package with 5 beanies in it. We have not recieved a package that consisted of 5 beanies. I try to keep track of our e-mail and make sure that Chris follows through with all e-mail and trades and purchases. When he doesn't have time to answer the e-mails I do. I'm hoping that everything works out. If you can send me a copy of any e-mails in question I will look at them and make sure that and trade or purchase that was done will get takes care of. I would really appreciate it. Cautionlist emailed Theresa back with all the details of the trades gone bad and also sent her the confirmation numbers proving that packages had been received at her mailing address. I told her since the packages had arrived to their house that they needed to either send those packages back to the senders or to send out the trades that they were to have sent and had not.

Chris Paxson, Williamsport, Pa is trading under three different name on BBOT. Dolphinsrule1, Paxson69, has so far scammed 3 individual that can be verified by trading the same beanie to many traders. First he claims he is having computer problems, then he claims his girlfriend is dying, then he claims he has 3 children and no money, the he claims he has no job. Claims, Claims, Claims. He also claims he had no trade with any one of the 3 people he has scammed so far. All the reader has to do is check the BBOT for the last 2 days.

I traded my Libearty for his Dusty. After making the trade I mailed my part and I tried for a week to contact Chris. They finally sent me an email and told me that there computer got a virus and crash.They had to get a new computer,but had lost all there e-mail and had no way to get in touch with anybody. She told me that she was hoping that I would e-mail so they would know who I am and could return my beanie. She said that they were sending my Libearty back. She sent me a tracking number (03021790000170688730) and I check on it this morning and it said that a package was indeed mail yesterday.I sent them an e-mail and told them the best thing to do was to send all the beanies back.No sense getting in anymore trouble than they already are..I told that I would let it go if they would return my beanie.I will let you know when the package arrives (hopefully ).I hope they will be smart enough to return everybody beanies.    Betty

This is not a complaint as such as I am as just to as much to blame. I don't normally do this type of thing please can I make myself clear on this.

I agreed a trade with these guys from the BBOT. I was to send them some beanies in exchange for there authenticated Rev Red America, I asked for feedback and they provided only ebay. I checked on here and I found a dolphintales on the cautionist and it sent alarm bells ringing, So I did not send his beanies I decided to wait till I received just to be on the safe side. That was 23rd April and I have still not received. Since then they have tried to make new trades with me.  I feel sorry for those that have been scammed by them.   Again I don't normally wait till I received but something worried me on this one. I always get scared when the only feedback is ebay. If I had sent my package I would now have been scammed by them also.

.I answered a posting on BBOT for a Dusty bear with ticket stub and card,they wanted offers so I offered,1 daffodil,1 rose, 1 thistle, 1 celebrations, 1 england,5 bears in total all in excellent condition.He replied by saying "sounds good to me and his address.I posted the bears to him on Tuesday 13 May and I emailed him that night to let him know they were on their way.I waited for a reply,but after a couple of days I did not get one.So I emailed again on the Friday,but still nothing.So not knowing what to do I contacted a Major Duke on bbot who had posted about chris for some help,he emailed Chris on my behalf telling him he had not heard of bearsarebrilliant,(my Ty name)yet if he had not heard of me how could he have emailed me.Major Duke gave me some options but as Chris had replied to his email,he suggested I try to contact him one more time.I emailed asking if by any chance he had by mistake replying to me that if this was the case,when the bears turned up to return them to me UNOPENED,(that way I could be sure I got my original bears back)I even offered to pay for postage.He replied by saying that he would send them back and pay the postage that it was his mistake.I then received an email on the 21 May telling me the bears showed up and that he sent them straight back,that they would be with me in 7-10 days.So at this moment in time I am waiting for them to show up.I have kept all communication between us which I can email you if you wish and of course if they turn up I will of course email you straight away.I love my hobby and have met some wonderful people on the Ty site,it's sad that this has to happen,I am not in a position to lose the value of the 5 bears.Thank you so much for trying to help,I really appreciate it,it's so hard to know what to do when faced with this situation.Should you need the emails,please don't hesitate to contact me.I will wait to hear from you ,or if the bears turn up I will let you know,Mel

Cautionlist: The only email that I received from Chris and/or Theresa were the two posted above. There were lies posted in both of them as they both denied receiving beanies from these people and of course there was proof they received as per confirmation numbers. When I did email back with these details and the proof they had received the packages and were responsible for making good and asking when they would be mailing packages out I never received another reply. None of the others who have lost beanies have heard from them since the original deals took place. If there were really computer problems then I had sent them all the info about all the trades along with their emails and what was owed and confirmation numbers also. So all the information that would have been lost with computer problems they have now had long enough to make good on all complaints. Also there is no Chris Paxson listed at the address the packages were mailed to nor is there one listed in that city. The address the packages were sent to is registered to Theresa Marshall.

You are never going to believe this,my bears returned to me,he had not opened the box so I knew they were the ones I sent.He just wrote on the front of the box, Refused,return to sender.I must admit that at no time did he say that he would send the bear only after he received mine.That does upset me,I have had that done twice to me before and its only when the trade does not turn up or you ask when they posted and they tell you its only been in the post 2 days.It just makes you realise that you must check every small detail when trading.I always send airmail and I tell people that but lots send slug post that takes 6 weeks to arrive and they do not tell you until after they have posted so there is nothing you can do about it.Do you still want emails or now that I have them back things are ok.Do you have the emails he sent sgt Duke,they make good reading too.Thanks for all your kind help,people like you make traders like me feel a lot easier.Should you need anything else from me please do not hesitate to ask,I will keep the emails until you tell me that you do not need them.Mel

Cautionlist: As of today the three people who emailed me about complaints have still not heard from Chris Paxson about the beanies that he owes to them. Nor have they received packages from him. These are the people who have proof he received them and came to cautionlist for help with their complaints. These other two people who have emailed me that they have finally gotten their beanies they sent to him back had not emailed me with complaints. I had gotten their email addresses from others who had heard that they also had a complaint about Chris. Neither Chris nor Theresa have replied to my emails since May 20.

i made a trade with Chris or his girlfriend back in mid May and i sent my end of the trade for a dusty with card and stub. seems like he has traded that beanie more than once. i looked up their phone # (570)329-0122 i have e-mailed this person and have gotten no answer. i know they got their package because i keep the delivery confirmation paper and it says that it was delivered on May 21. if anyone knows how i can get them to respond please e-mail me. thanks

I mailed my beanies (6) on February 14 and now he won't answer my e-mails and I have not received the (1) beanie that he was supposed to trade with me. His email was firstlovebeanies@yahoo.com (Chris Moore) and he used Fluffandstuff2003 as references. On February 14, 2004, I mailed 6 beanies, which were Bidder, Herschel, Cornbread, Soar, Blue Star and Germania for MC Anniversary which I never received. I just thought I would share with you an email I received from Terry who claims she is not Chris Paxson. From his other replies to me you can clearly see that the email is originating from Christopher Paxson. In all my days I have never seen a person lie so much as Chris. Just found out he is going by the name of Terry 68 and email address is Dolphinsrule13@verison.net  Below is Theresa's reply to me.

There are several people who uses this computer and he is one. I am telling the truth that I am not Chris Paxson and that my name is Terry. My sister and brother-in-law and their 3 girls who lives right next to me comes over to use my computer. My cousin comes everyday to check her e-mail. So there is a lot of people that uses this computer. My computer's harddrive went down in the beginning of December and I had to send it to the company in California. I do know that when I got the computer back and Chris tried to go on to the BBOT it wouldn't let him on with his old sign on name so he had to change it. Chris did have a problem last year when he was in the middle of making a few trades. His two year old daughter was visiting him and he had brought down several of his beanies to send out. He set them on my mantle and his two year old got to them and tore of the hang tags. He tried to write to the people that he was trading with when that computer got a virus and I went and bought this computer. Unfortunately he didn't have any of the e-mail addresses to get in touch with them. When we got this new computer hooked up he started getting called a bad trader. He sent everyones beanies back to them or tried to make everything right. He has an excellent feedback on EBAY. He is a good trader and buyer.

Chris and I had a trade for my nectar & sparkles, for his FVS. I sent mine with DC # which he would receive his on April 19. He emailed me on April 14, and said (Hello Jill, I put FVS in the mail today. You should receive it by Monday.....Chris. I mailed mine the same day he supposedly mailed his. He has his and I do not have mine. I have emailed him 3 or 4 times which he will not return my emails. I have printed out all of his emails and mine to him. Please help with what we can do to stop this scammer.

A trade was made. I sent my end with siganature confirmation. She signed for package under a different name than she gave me. I never received my end of the deal. She will not answer e-mails now.
