I traded way back in February with Christi Schultz hlscls@mail.portup.com
It was agreed that she would send surface. I sent her a Britannia Beanie
which she received. We have been in communication now for some weeks and
the parcel still has not arrived. She sent me an email on 14 May saying that
the Post Office have suggested that I get in contact with Customs over here.
I do not think that is correct. Anyway in order for me to even attempt to
check anything here I need here details and also when she sent the parcel.
I have twice asked for this and have had no response. Last night, I sent
her an email saying that cannot make any enquiries about the missing parcel
and asked her to return the Britannia. When I say that she had a posting
on Randi's I even sent her another email asking her to contact me. I know
that her sister has been very unwell and that is why I have left it for so
long, but if she has time to put postings on Randi, she has time to reply
to me. Now all I want is the Britannia beanie back, nothing else. Once again,
thanks for any help you can offer. Darryl

I managed to find the Certificate of Posting with her address.
Christi Shultz
408 Moore Street
Bessemer, Michigan, 49911 1023, USA.
As she had another posting on Randis yesterday, I sent her an email saying
please get in touch. She replied saying:
"I have been. I just don't know what else it is that you want from me? I
did everything on my part like honest traders do. This is not the first time
international trading has gone wrong. I lost quite a bit of stuf!! not that
should have anythign to do with you. That is why I have decided to trade
USA onlyf rom now which kind of hurts. I have made great trade friends over
there."
I replied saying that I had been emailing her for a week and she had not
replied. All I wanted now was for the Britannia to be returned. She can make
a claim for the lost parcel. The trade was to have been my friend's Britannia
beanie for Christi's 6 Curlys and Wise. She has not replied to last night's
email. I would be extremely grateful if you insist that she sends you proof
of posting. Darryl

WHAT KIND OF PROOF DO I NEED. I HAVE CHECKED WITH MY LOCAL POST OFFICE
"SEVERAL" TIMES NOW. THEY SAY BECAUSE THE U.S. DOES NOT HAVE A TRACKING NUMBER
LIKE WE DO. THAT THE PERSON ON THE OTHER END SHOULD GO TO THERE CUSTOMS??
WE IN THE U.S. DO NOT HAVE INSURANCE. I KNOW HE THINKS I CAN CLAIM INSURANCE
MONEY. HOWEVER, I CAN'T. I DID OFFER TO RE-SEND HIM SOMETHING. BUT I CAN'T
SEND OUT OUR FIRST DEAL WITH THE CURLY'S AND WISE ETC. PERHAPS A COUPLE??
PLEASE TRUDY TRY AND HELP ME OUT HERE. I DID NOT DO THIS TO SCAM ANYONE.
I'VE TRADING AND SELLING AND BUYING ON THE NET FOR A YEAR AND A FEW MONTHS.
SINCERELY, CHRISTI SHULTZ

I had an email from Christi to say that she is sending back the Britannia
Beanie as she is not getting fraud charges for sending her part in the first
place. I replied that I have never once said she is a bad trader, it is just
she has the Britannia and I have nothing.Do you think you could ask her to
fax you proof of mailing, or should I just wait to see if Britannia comes
back. Darryl

Sorry to bother you, but have you heard anything from Christi, because
I haven't . The last email I received was on 24 May, when she wrote to say
she had now deleted all her emails. She suggested I email you and ask you
to email me the emails you sent over to her.My reply was to say please return
the Britannia and give her my details again. Please can you suggest what to
do now. I am sorry, but I have had enough. I think you will know from previous
problems, that I am fairly patient - but enough is enough. Unless she replies
satisfactorily to you that she has posted back the Britannia and sends you
proof of mailing, I would like her to go on the bad traders list. Darryl

BAD TRADER - CHRISTI SCHULTZ HLSCLS@PORTUP.COM
I traded with Christi in March of this year. She asked if she could send
surface as it was too costly to send Air Mail. I agreed. She acknowledged
receipt of my Britannia and then I waited patiently. As time went on, Christi
was very nice and even offered to return my Britannia. I offered to wait
longer. Eventually, when it was obvious her parcel was not going to turn
up I asked for the return of my beanie. When I got nowhere I asked Elftrudy
for her assistance. She also got nowhere and eventually Christi was placed
on the bad traders list. I would just like to ask Christi how come in the
beginning she was offering to return my Britannia, but when it actually came
to it, she did nothing. Her final email to me once she had been placed on
the bad trader list was to say 'I hope you can look yourself in the face
do not contact me any further'.

Hi, I was left with no choice but to post this about Christy, I gave her
ever single opportunity to fix this wrong, and after 6 months, and I still
have never recieved my end of the trade, I am left to do what I feel I was
backed into a corner to do. NEVER DEAL WITH THIS LADY, SHE HAS MANY POSTIVE
FEEDBACKS ON EBAY, WHICH SHE OBVIOUSLY USES TO SCAM PEOPLE WITH NOW. She
has long since recieved my blue face spangle, and I have never recieved a
thing from her. She tells me it is not her problem, and to go to my post
office and ask where it is, yet she has NO tracking number to offer. hmmmmm
Trust me, if you are going to give this lady a chance, you are taking
a huge risk, she sucked me in big time to all her personal problems, saying
she would clear it all up after her crisis, I waited it out only to be told
by her, tough luck. SHE IS EXTREMLY UNFAIR, AND SHE IS A SCAM ARTIST, in
the biggest way. I have kept all emails that have transpired between both
of us, and if you would like to see, the evidence, I will be more than happy
to share this with you.

Christi agreed to send me a Germania Buddy in trade I sent her 9-Beanies
& a set of 9-Beanie Kids. We agreed to ship the same day (Mon.07-17).
I sent her confirmation that I mailed the package to her & asked that
she send me the delivery confirmation number for the package she mailed.
NEVER HEARD FROM HER. I emailed her every day asking for confirmation. On
7-19 I checked I found complaints against her on this site. I contacted her
& once again requested confirmation of shipment & asked if I should
be worried. NO REPLY. On 7-20 after not hearing from her I threatened to
report her report her to IFCC, ebay, & trading boards. That is when she
finally returned an email. She had received my package. She mailed her package
that day (7-20) three days later than she said she would. She placed
some of the items I sent on ebay right away. I received the package
from her 7-22. She sent me an OSITO beanie - NOT A GERMANIA BUDDY as agreed
upon. She give me no explanation as to why or how a Osito beanie got inside
a sealed box that she claims she had put a Germania buddy in. This
woman is a scam artist! She agrees to trade beanies then never follows through
with her end of the trade. Then she takes the beanies you send her and puts
them on ebay starting at only $1.00 & NR. Only someone that has no money
invested in these beanies can afford to run that risk. DO NOT TRADE WITH
THIS WOMAN!!!

I have sent a trade to Christi Shultz at 408 S. Moore St Bessemer, Mi 49911-1023
last Monday, November 6th. Her email address she is using is
itsobeautiful@hotmail.com. She has a handle at ebay under hlscls and the
email for that is, hlscls@portup.com. I contacted her on Thursday (9th) and
asked if she had received them as I had not received hers. Well, low and
behold her package from me has never arrived. And the one she sent to me
was returned! First it was, my PO had sent it back and then when I told her
I contacted my PO and live in a town of less than 300 the story changed.
Then it was the zip code, she left off the last number. I KNOW she has my
beanies. She has had posts out and the ones I sent are on those posts. I
sent to her: End, Beginning, BF Spangle, 98 and 97 Teddy and 3 Holiday sets.
She was to have sent to me a Sakura and Chinook. I do have all of the emails
that have transpired between us. I have contacted her Post Office and the
man I spoke to Friday was very helpful, but her regular carrier had the day
off. So I called back yesterday and got someone else and he was not quite
so helpful. He did tell me that it was impossible for her to have spoke to
anyone on Sat as she said she did, since it was a Federal holiday. This I
had to inform her of on Sat and then you will see her back track on an email
later. I even called tonight and she would not talk as she wants to deal
over the email. Now she will not reply. The beanies I sent were from my own
personal collection with the exception of the holidays. And the ones I supposedly
traded for were for my girls for Christmas. Thanks for the time and help
you can give. I will do whatever it is you recommend.

Agreed to a trade on 10/27/00, calimed she was sick and bedridden and
would mail her items later than agreed upon. Stupid me, feeling pity for
her, sent her my beanies as agreed upon. After not hearing back for awhile,
sent her a follow-up note. She claimed that I had sent her my beanies as
a GIFT because she was feeling bad. After correcting her interpretation,
she confided that she did not have her end of the trade and no longer had
my beanies. She posts on them ebay, keeps a good clean record there
(buys/sells...DRIVEN BY MONEY). She asked to PLEASE give her 2 weeks and
she would get me my item (this was on 11/15/00). Its now December 8th, and
Ms. Shultz does not return emails (send her several over a 2 wk period of
time). Im convinced she is a CON-ARTIST/CROOK/LIAR/THIEF...you name it.
Don't be scammed by her. DO NOT TRUST HER. It's a shame there are people
like her scamming innocent people.

Just got off the phone with Officer Livingston of the
Bessmer Sheriff's Dept in regards to your internet fraud. Funny how
he knows WHO you are since several folks have called them to file complaints
about YOU. They informed me that these are civil matters and should be dealt
with through the court system. I, along with others you have scammed, are
considering contacting an attorney in Bessemer to file a class action lawsuit
against you. What is at stake for you is your entire personal wealth. Class
action legal suits or settlements thereof, can include seizure of all personal
assets (home, car, etc). I will also be contacting the Federal Postal Fraud
Inspector to file a formal complaint this afternoon. This time of complaint
could involve jail time, if convicted. I certainly do hope that this will
STOP you from commiting any more scams/crimes on innocent people.

"smile" at the end of her messages & on her Ebay auctions Makes her seem
friendly and honest.. She is Neither Just out to con people. I am not

On Nov.1, 2000, I won 4 EBay auctions for several Ty Beanie Babies, for
a total of $40.00us. I mailed an International Money Order on Nov.6, it was
cashed by Christi Shultz on Nov.17 - I have viewed the cleared bank copy
of the money order, with the clearly, legable signature of Christi Shultz.
To this day, I have continually pleaded with Christi to answer my emails--to
which she has not replied since Nov.21 (at which time she still claimed she
had not received the money). I have filed a complaint with EBay's mediator,
Square Trade, but have still not received a reply. She is aware that these
beanies were to be gifts for my children. Others, please beware!

I bought 8 items off Christi on Ebay in September. Initially she tried
to tried me excessive shipping which I managed to reduce, but still too high.
I've still received nothing from her to this date. I've emailed and she did
reply at first and agree to send me a refund - but that has not been forthcoming.
I know she had the money order, I paid her through BidPay. She is now ignoring
my emails. She has my money - I have nothing to show for it. Buyers beware
of this trader. This has been on-going since September - I've been very patient
with her up to date - but now she just ignores my emails. I have kept every
email sent between Christi and myself. I fear one more email to her will
not get my money back. I will keep you informed.

I won 2 bears on ebay and sent a Bankers draft for $16.50 in October. Initially she said the bears had been shipped and always signed Beanie Hugs etc.
Bears never arrived, now she does not answer my e mails
Just today, I saw her on a 'bad traders list' on the internet. I feel so foolish... :( But I don't know what to do. I am only 18 years old and I'm saving money up for university next year. I can't afford to lose that much money, and that was really the only opportunity I had to get my 2 favorite bears. Please help me!!!! I am so upset.
Thank you sincerely,

Federal Postal Inspector, Cindy Wadell, has been informed about Ms. Schultz's
activities, and may be reached at 313-226-8710.

Message filed by Mediator, Pat
Message sent to Ms. Schultz regarding fraudulent dealings on the Internet.
Dear Ms. Schultz,
I have contacted you many times during the last six months about fraud reports we have received at www.traderlist.com/caution.html. You have ignored these messages, as well as the messages from those who have entrusted you with their money or their property. Some of these victims have received excuses and promises, but have not been reimbursed.
Consequently, this morning I contacted the Federal Postal Inspector in charge of Internet Fraud for the Detroit District. I informed him that the Bessemer Police Department has already been contacted by some of the victims. The two agencies will begin working together to charge you with Internet and Postal Fraud..charges that may end in your prosecution and imprisonment as well as substantial fines.
We had hoped that by informing you of the complaints against you, you would take care of these problems, but our letters have been ignored and the victims have no recourse.
Your Bad Trader Page is listed at http://www.traderlist.com/ChristiSchultz.html. We have requested that all victims save all emails and receipts concerning their transactions with you, and advise you to do the same.
If you have a plan for taking care of these problems immediately, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Pat Edgerton
Internet Fraud Mediator
In late November, 2000, I bought 2 Beanie Holiday Teddys from Christi
on Ebay. I sent the money via Paypal on Dec. 5, 2000. She never sent the
bears. I emailed her a number of times but never got a response. Under the
advice of Ebay, I called her to resolve the issue. She said she had a death
in the family and told me to email her with the info and she'd refund my
money. I told her I was very upset over the situation because these were
to be Christmas gifts for my girlfriend. She hung up on me. I called her
back and some girl answered the phone and said Christi was not available.
I told her to tell Christi to send me my money or I'd have to take her to
small claims court. On December 31, 2000, she finally responded to my email,
saying she'd send me my money. Today is January 11, 2001 and I haven't seen
a dime. She has since left negative feedback about me on ebay because I had
warned a buyer about her shady dealings. Well, now I know how she got so
many good feedbacks. It appears she is having friends bid on her auctions
(I had unknowingly emailed a friend of hers who forwarded it to Christi).
This way, they are helping her to "bid up" her own auctions and if they end
up being the high bidder, they leave positive feedback. She has taken many
peoples' money. I can't believe ebay allows her to continue trading. Today
I contacted a lawyer. I am going to try not only to get my money back but
to see if any civil action can be taken against her to make her accountable
for her actions.

Well, It has been a very very long time now and I have not heard or received
anything from Christi. My friend phoned her, and she hung up on him. I am
in a dilemma because it would be very expensive for me to make long distance
phone calls to Ms. Wadell, and if I waste all my money on phone calls, there
is almost no point in getting a refund anyway.

Despite her attempts to appear reoentent I have still not received a refund, she does not acknowledge e mails.

Sent paypal payment to Christi for 2 auctions, one for 27.00 and one for
41.00. She owed paypal money so she doesnt see the money. She put non paying
bidder on my account, I got scared so I paid her again by check (which she
cashed) for one of the auctions. She sent it to me but did not send back
my money through paypal and demanded another check for the other auction.
I refused. I have now paid 145.00 to her and I am out 68.00. Note: the auction
was 19.28 and she charged 27.00 to include shipping. The other auction was
20.49, she charged 41.00to include shipping. Shipping costs about
4.00!
