Near the latter part of December, I don't know the exact date, we sent Christine 8 beanies which included a Sunny, Periwinkle, Victorian Mickey and Minnie, Motorcycle Tigger, Hockey Pooh, New Choo Choo Pooh and the New Bee Pooh. She received our end of the trade early in January which was confirmed via email from her.

She was to send us a UK Santa Eeyore, Pooh, and Tigger, 2 Friar Eeyores, a 21st Century Pooh, a Wishes Pooh, and a Reversible Heart Pooh. We still haven't received these.

She has emailed several times with mostly medical related excuses for not sending them and on several occasions tried to get us to send her more items. Needless to say, we didn't.  If you need any additional information, please let me know. Additionally, I have contacted the others and asked they send you details regarding their problems with Christine.  Thanks again for your help with this matter.  Karen and Rick

I understand you are investing Christine Jackson (Cherishedlady) for trade fraud. We had arranged a trade in early April. I mailed mine on April 2 and she claimed to have mailed on April 4. The trade was for: DL Easter set and March Tigger in trade the Zip Up Pumpkin, Frontier Pooh, Nightwear with teddybear and 2001 Easter Pooh. That would be 5 of mine for 4 of hers. I waited 3 weeks and no return. She finally emailed me she had been sick and in the hospital. She said she had received my package but not mailed hers due to illness. She promised to mail within three days. That was more than two weeks ago and still no package, although she did email me wanting to make more trades! How stupid does she think I am? Hope this helps with your investigation.   Genie Crosmer

Complaint filed by: lauriem@iopener.net

I was recently duped by a person from England who I trusted implicitly. I have been emailing her for over a year and we had negotiated a trade for cherished teddies which has been ongoing for over a year and involved an investment of a great deal of money. We had already negotiated a trade that went through fine so I had no reason to doubt her. I recently sent her parcel ( approx. 4 weeks ago ) and I have never received mine in return. She keeps insisting that she will send it but never does and keeps coming up with medical problems and bad luck for reasons why she doesn't send it. I have emailed her numerous times regarding this matter and have threatened to put her on the bad traders list but I still haven't received my package. Recently I found her name on the bad traders list for England and I now know that I will probably never receive my package. I am so upset and I don't know what to do. Can you help? Her name is Christine Jackson and her address is Beckingham, BR31UR, United Kingdom - Her email addresses are as follows: Cherishedlady@aol.com,Csjackson@btinternet.com,allthingsbeary@aol.com- I hope that there is something you can do to help me. Thank you for listening!   Sincerely, Laurie Mead

Well what can I tell you, I lost £28 with this ebay user. Unfortunately for me I kept believing what she was telling me and in the end it was too late to claim anything back from ebay insurance. I contacted ebay a number times about her and I was under the impression that she had been "take off", so she was no longer able to sell. She come up with a number of different reasons for the delay in sending my cherdished teddy. She had been in hospital, she had been flooded, forgot about it, she even told me when I contact her about making arrangements for payment not to send her any e-mails as I had a virus. I have kept copies of all the emails (lies) that she sent me. I even as a last resort send her a recorded delivery letter, which she received and sent me an email staying item was in the post, yet another lie. I even threatened her with solictors, which did nothing. I have not written this money off and purchased the item from else where, but it was not fair. I contacted ebay as, although I had had the problem I did not want anyone else to have it happen to them. Regards   Toni

This is an update on Christine Jackson (Cherishedlady@aol.com). As of 2/3/02 I have still not received my package. She has become totally unreasonable to deal with and her latest trick has been to block her computer from receiving my email messages! I want to warn anyone and everyone to AVOID DEALING WITH HER AT ALL COSTS!!!

We were fortunate that after almost a year, we finally resolved our difficulties with Christine. She is a mean vindictive woman, given to deluging the parties with whom she has had difficulties with pornography.
Anybody that can steer clear should do so! We only wish we had known of your site sooner, keep up the fantastic work!

comments: On June 4, 2002 I paid, via PayPal, quite a bit of money to someone who contacted me in response to a posting I had made on the World Collectors' Net regarding wanting a Cherished Teddies' Plush Musical. The person represented herself as "Michelle." She promised to send the item to arrive in 4-10 days. As of July 10, 2002, she still has not sent the teddie. She keeps saying she will send it the next day with tracking number. I inquired on the World Collectors' Net if anyone had problems with this person and received 2 comments that she had sent items. I also received e-mails identifying her as Christine/Denise Jackson and that there were many unhappy collectors out there. The PayPal account listed to the person who represented herself as Michelle is listed in the name of Denise Jackson.

I would like to believe I will get the plush bear I paid for and will be happy to post that here if it happens. However, this person has had my money for over a month and has not made one attempt to mail it. Nor did she let me know there was a delay until I started e-mailing her. Buyer Beware

I put an ad on WCN wanting a certain Cherished Teddie Figurine, Christine Jackson answered my advert and said she had this CT for sale, and we agreed a price of £132.50. I sent her the money in good faith, a cheque for £132.50 on the 19th April 2002. As of today 17th July 2002 still no goods - won't return money either. Have given Christine Jackson ample opportunity to give me the CT I paid for, or return my money. After weeks and weeks of excuses, and even posting on WCN that she had made a payment into my Bank Account, (which was a total lie) she even emailed me and even gave me a Recorded Delivery Number, letting me know the money was being refunded, and would expect it via the mail, but obviously the money was never sent, because it never arrived.  I now have no more options but to pursue Christine Jackson through the UK Courts, which is now underway.  I would strongly suggest that no one enters into dealings with Christine Jackson in any shape or form.

Update filed by: healthfield@mindspring.com

Almost two months after I paid via PayPal, I received the Norman plush cherished teddie. Jackson told me that shipping/insurance from the UK would cost $40, when the package arrived it appeared to have about $10 worth of stamps and paperwork on it. I paid on June 4, 2002, and she told me it would take "4 to 10 days" to arrive. I heard nothing from her and on June 24, 2002, I e-mailed to inquire when she sent it. She had not sent the package, but said she would. I subsequently e-mailed her numerous times and each time she said she would send the package. On July 15, I began asking for a refund. I had contacted PayPal to report I had not received the bear and they never responded. I also contacted my credit card company and they told me they would investigate. A day or so after I received the bear, I went out of town for several days. I returned to find over 20 e-mails per day from Jackson demanding that I cancel the PayPal refund request (apparently my credit card company did this). This was an disappointing experience and I will not do business with Jackson again.

The comments made by Jackson were posted for retaliation and are not true. (Posted Date: Tuesday, August 27, 2002 Time: 6:36 PM EST) On June 2,2002 I paid her $150 via PayPal (an instant payment service) for a Cherished Teddies' Plush Norman Muscial. She stated that she would send it immediately and I would receive it in 4-7 days. I had not received the bear nor heard from her and on June 24 I contacted her. She said she had not sent the bear but would send it "tomorrow." After she promised several times to send the bear and didn't I contacted PayPal on July 8, 2002, to file a complaint. I filled out an on-line form and got an automated response that it was 4 days over their 1 month complaint deadline and they would not investigate. I contacted my credit card company and they placed a temporary credit on my account and sent me a form to file. I sent them all of the documentation and they began to investigate. I finally received the bear from Jackson (almost 2 months after payment). On August 1, 2002, I notified my credit card company that I had received the item and I no longer disputed the charge and the charge was placed back on my card. I went on vacation and returned to find over 20 e-mails per day from Jackson demanding that I remove my refund request. I received notification from PayPal that they were investigating this matter and I e-mailed them that I had cleared the charge with my credit card company. I received another automated response from PayPal acknowledging my e-mail (but not the content). This was not the transaction of an honest person. She was not upfront about who she was, she contacted me as Michelle and yet the PayPal account is registerd to Denise. Are Christine/Michelle/Denise one in the same? Who knows. It tooks 2 months to get the item and lots and lots of time trying to get her to send what she was immediately paid for. She made no attempt to let me know there was a delay, lied about sending the item several times and was belligerent when she found out I started a legitimate investigation. If you have any doubts about my comments, go to the World Collectors' Net bulletin board and post a question asking about her dealings with others: www.worldcollectorsnet.com/cherished/cherisheddiscuss.html. You will find that there are many, many other collectors who had similar or worse experiences with her. Her side of the story always puts blame on the other person. I do not recommend having any dealings with her. It has been most unplesant and very time-consuming.

We am writing in response to a posting made by Christine Jackson (on the bad trader list.) Her claims are totally untrue, items shipped to her were undamaged, and insured! A claim was filed with the USPS on her behalf, even though we do not believe that anything was broken. All proceeds from the claim would go to her, if she completed documentation as requested by USPS. We are uninvolved, it is totally between her and the USPS! If the USPS does not pay a claim, it is not our fault! She is also claiming pieces were broken that were not even in the package.

Christine had the nerve to come to the US for a Cherished Teddies event. Many people confronted her on her many thefts and false stories. Some parties have had to take her through the British legal system (and WON!) We confronted her, and she refused to speak with us. After our departure, she tried to tell her friends that we were mistaken, and thought she was a different Christine with whom she had prior difficulties.

Christine lies incessantly, with a variety of illnesses, floods, famine and heartache. She almost has a list that she must work from, as we have hear the same stories from a myriad of people at a variety of different times.

When confronted by parties whom she has stolen from or scammed, Christine bombards them with pornography and viruses. We, personally, know of at least 11 people to whom she has done this.

If one chooses to deal with Christine Jackson, heartbreak and headaches will soon follow. She delays shipping incessantly. She claimed to have shipped us one Cherished Teddies piece 23 different times. That should have been one well traveled bear!

Christine changes her eBay signon and email addresses regularly. She is presently using golden_balls7 and 4everfriends on eBay.

Christine also uses the following email addresses: cherishedlady@aol.com, Csjackson@btinternet.com , allthingsbeary@aol.com, Goldenchild10373@aol.com, Goldenchild1973e@aol.com, tedsngingerbread@aol.com, shellysbears@aol.com, her latest email address is funnynanny@aol.com.

Christine also uses the aliases of Denise Jackson and/or Michelle Jackson. Please see her bad trader page. It is only a tip of the iceberg of the many people with a history of difficult dealings with Christine Jackson.

Avoid Christine at all cost, she is a dangerous person! The reason for her posting is that we did confront her, and it is pure ridiculous retaliation.

**Note from Mediator, Pat: We have received other messages from victims telling of this same retaliation by Christine. We advise caution with her.

This is in response to Christine Jackson's post about me. Her comments are untrue and fully explained in my post of September 12. If you also find that you have been duped by Christine Jackson (or one of her aliases) please report the problem to as many sources as possible to help other collectors:

1. Post on Traderlist.com

2. If you have paid by PayPal and do not receive the item, you have 30 days from the date of the transaction to file a complaint. Her PayPal account is under "Denise Jackson."

3. If you paid via credit card and haven't received the item, contact the credit card's customer service department and they will investigate.

4. You can write or call the following police officer. Although he cannot help you if you are in the United States, it would be helpful for him to hear the circumstances of any unsavory business transaction with her.

DCI Palmer
Orpington Police Station
The Walnuts
High Street
Orpington
Kent England BR6 OTW
Telephone Number: 0208 2848004

5. Fill out a complaint with the FBI's Internet Fraud Complaint Center: http://www.ifccfbi.gov/contactus.asp.

6. Post a notice on the World Collectors' Bulletin Board: http://www.worldcollectorsnet.com.

If you chose to publicly state your problems with her, be prepared for retaliation. You should be able to block or automatically delete her e-mails through your e-mail program (be sure to block all of the e-mail addresses). Make sure your virus software is up-to-date and report spam to the "abuse" section of your own internet service provider and to her internet service provider.
