I think you really need to add Connie Olson to your scam artist list. She took $200 from me and lots from other people that sent me email when I posted a note looking for her and warning others about her illegal practices. I was a fool and I know it. $200 is not a fortune, but it was mine. I have documentation from Connie , etc. let me know if you can. Thanks. Cris

I sent $75 to her and never received any beanies. She will not respond to emails.

I had a bad trade this past week. I had placed an ad on the Ty net for retired beanies. I had recieved an e-mail from a preson that said she had what I was looking for. She sent me a list of beanies that she was selling from $15.00 to $25.00. I asked her to give me a phone number and she responded by saying she doesn't give out ph.#'s. So, I gave her mine. She called me up, we talked for 20 minutes and said that I send a MO to her for half of the amount that I was going to buy and the other half when I recieved the beanies. Sounded good to me but, then a few minutes later, I recieved another call. It has her father. He reassured me that she was 18 and she does have the beanies that I wanted. End of call. So I sent a mo to her for $300.00. I haven't heard from her since.I tried to e-mail her several times and no response. I did do some checking out for myself, however, she doesn't live at that address or her father doesn't. Perhaps they just gave me a false name. I call a tax asessor down in Jackson Co. and they said the property belongs to Maynard C. Olson Jr.. I even tried the phone co. and they said that there is no phone line to that address, not even an unlisted or private number.

This is a father and daughter con artist couple who have stolen thousands of dollars from innocent people. They have been reported to the Biloxi police and the FBI, who are working on a case against them for prosecution. In the mean time, they go on doing business and ripping off more people. Please warn everyone to be wary of anyone from Biloxi right now. It's probably these two at work under an alias.

On or about April 1, 1999, Connie and Maynard Olson were arrested in Olathe, Kansas. A Federal Magistrate Judge ordered the Olsons' detained to the custody of the US Marshall's. They are scheduled to be transported to The Southern District of Mississippi within the next thirty days. When they arrive a trial date will be scheduled.

In the event you are needed to testify as witnesses you will contacted by me or the Assistant United States Attorney that is handling the prosecution. If there has been recent telephone number and or address changes please notify this agent.

Comments: I recognized the address listed when I was mailed back from a Ty Message Board. I live close to the party and am ashamed to know this is going on in the State I live in and so close. The alias's should be updated to include the info mentioned above. Previous alias's include Ann Marie & charlie Rose, Connie Olson, Micha Lee Olson,Chase Young, Susan Young, Anne Marie Johnson all of Big Ridge Dr. Biloxi, MS. I live in a neighboring town and will see that the local authorities are made aware of this situation.

Comments: This person is using several names but lists the address as
15304 Big Ridge Road, Biloxi, MS 39532. I ordered two Erin bears on the 26th of March and cannot get a response or shippment of my beanies. There are several others that have had problems with his person or persons and it is my understanding that the authorities are collecting evidence.

Maynard Olson, and his daughter, Connie, each pleaded guilty Tuesday in
U.S. District Court to one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud.
The Olsons are scheduled for sentencing Oct. 19. They each face a
maximum sentence of up to five years in prison and a maximum fine of
up to $250,000.  They are being held in the Harrison County jail. They've
been held there since March, when they were arrested in Kansas
after missing a scheduled arraignment date in Biloxi in July 1998.

BILOXI - A woman who served time in federal prison for not delivering Beanie Babies she sold on the Internet is now accused of stalking and stealing the identity of the investigator who helped send her to prison. Connie Marie Olson, 34, and her mother, Sandra Ann Olson, 56, are being held by the U.S. Marshal's Service on charges of making threatening or harassing phone calls to Robert Kay.
