i have tried all avenues in trying to get my money back from a trader that took my money but didn't send the ttbeanies. I even wrote to the Attorney General in that stat and did not even hear from him. I am attaching everthing I have on it. can you help me.Thanks for trying even if we don't succeed, but this is alot of money to lose. i have called about 10 times, and wrote a letter and I don't know how many email I sent. I know he is listed under ebay and I notified them. This is where he got my name because I was one of the his. losing bidders and got my name from that list.I ordered the set of 29 teenie beanies (mcdonalds)

the total amount was $ 78.20 (that included shipping charges. I have a note that says he cashed my visa checking card. The order was verifyed on 6/13/2000. He cashed it the next day. He said the order would be shipped out within 48 hours. I have telephoned him numerous times and all I get is his answering machine. i have sent mim letters thru the mail and also emailed him several times. i have heard nothing form him. I sure hope you can help me. The govenor of hie state didn't even answer my letter as yet. I hope this is what info you need, if you need more let me know. marlene steck

I, AM, SORRY ABOUT THE OTHER PERSON. THIS DALE BORDERS IS A BAD PERSON AND A LIAR.

IT FIRST BEGAN AT THE TIME THE TEENIE BEANIES CAME OUT. I WAS BIDDING ON A SET ON EBAY FOR $99 AND MR. BORDERS CONTACTED ME ADVISING HE HAS 100 SETS AT $75 PLUS $3.20 SHIPPING. EVEN THOUGH HE WAS NOT GOING THROUGH EBAY HE HAD FEEDBACK WITH EBAY THAT WAS GOOD SO I ORDERED THEM AND SENT HIM A CHECK. 2 WEEKS WENT BY AND I DID NOT HEAR FROM HIM SO I EMAILED HIM AND ASKED HIM IF HE GOT MY MONEY. HE SAID YES AND THAT HE WOULD BE SENDING THE TBB OUT IN ABOUT 2 OR 3 DAYS. I WAITED ANOTHER 2 WEEKS AND NOT A WORD OR THE TBB. I THEN CALLED HIM AND HE ADVISED THAT HE HAD OVER 800 ORDERS AND WAS HAVING A HARD TIME FILLING THEM BUT THEY WOULD BE FILLED WITHIN THE WEEK. NOW WE ARE GETTING INTO LATE JUNE AND I CALLED HIM AGAIN. HE ADVISED THAT HIS FATHER IN LAW WAS ILL BUT HE WAS WORKING ON HIS ORDERS. AT THAT TIME I TOLD HIM TO FORGET IT AND TO IMMEDIATELY SEND ME A REFUND. HE SAID HE WOULD SEND IT IMMEDIATELY. 2 MORE WEEKS WENT BY AND NOTHING. SO I CONTACTED THE SALEM, MA POLICE DEPARTMENT AND TOLD THEM MY STORY. I RECEIVED A RESPONSE FROM THEM ADVISING THAT MR. BORDERS SAID HE WOULD SEND MY MONEY THE NEXT DAY. WELL I DID NOT GET IT. SO I CONTACTED THE POLICE DEPARTMENT AGAIN ADVISING THEM OF THIS. I THEN CALLED MR. BORDERS AND HE ADVISED THAT HIS FATHER IN LAW PASSED AWAY PUT HE WOULD SEND THE MONEY ON THURSDAY BY OVERNIGHT MAIL. THIS WAS THE 15TH OF JULY AND AS YOU KNOW - NOTHING. I KEPT CONTACTING THE POLICE DEPARTMENT BUT IT WAS NOT GETTING ANYWHERE. I ALSO WROTE MANY EMAILS AND WROTE ON HIS WEBSITE BUT IT DID NOT GOOD UNTIL I CONTACTED YOU. When You emailed him he finally made good. I AM A STRONG BELIEVER THAT MR. BORDERS HAS CHEATED HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE OUT OF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. IF HE OVERSOLD BY 800 SETS OF TBB AT $78.20 THAT IS OVER $60,000. I SURE HOPE YOU CAN GET THIS GUY. IF THERE IS ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO PLEASE LET ME KNOW. PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED.  LOIS

Just look at the email he sent out to me, this was for the complete set of the 2000 TBB's from McDonald's. Went I called him on Nov. 6(finally him, not the answer machine) he said that he will send out again and that I should get it in few days, also he said that if I don't get it in few days to call him back. So I did and now I'm getting the answer machine again. If you need anymore information let me know!!!!

Comments: Last summer I ordered 2 sets of 2000 McDonald's teenie beanies from this company. I had lost a bid on ebay and they contacted me wanting to know if I wanted to buy from them. Big Mistake! I still don't have them. I wrote emails (you can only do this through their site)and called on the phone (answering machine only). I never got a response. They charged my credit card but I never recieved the beanies. I reported them to the IFCC. My total lose was $157.00. Their website is still up and taking orders. www.beanieshowroom.com. It has been more than 12 days now since I have sent out the money order to him! I called him almost everyday now since last Friday to check the status of the money order's arrival. He denied that he has received the money orders already! And he kept telling me to put a trace on the registered letter, and I think he is stalling for time!  Please help me! I am very angry at him! He received my US$1400 payment and waited and sent the Issy Bears out when they were only worth about US$400! I lost about US$800-1000 in the value! He made me lose reputation in three other traders, since I was delayed for these trades! Please update my BAD experience with him (Dale Borders)! He said that he had them in hand ready to ship, and he used my US$1400 to buy these bears when they were ONLY US$400 worth! He is a very bad trader! Please update these! As far as your other complaints about me on your bad trader list. All have been resolved since the problems happened. I openly admitted my mistake at the time as our web-site got bigger than we could handle and a very small percentage of our orders were mis-handled. All have since been refunded, or their orders delivered.

I purchased 2 auctions from this man with the "Buy It Now" option for 2 Ty Nectars. a US Postal Money order was sent for the items in the sum of $35 plus $3 cash because I forgot the original amount of $37.93. This person has NEVER answered any of my e-mails and its been a month since the auction has closed. BEWARE this seller....

They were to be shipped within 48 hours.  on Jun 8th after going through paypal i found that i did pay for the beanie the first time. I called Dale up to ask for a refund and where my beanie was since his email stated that he had them in hand. He told me that he was going to refund both transactions because he really didn't have the beanies in hand. He said he would refund by Tuesday 6/12. On 6/15 I called again saying that i haven't received my refund and again he said he would do it that day. Then I called on 6/20 talked to Jim at the store and he said Dale wasn't there and he doesn't know the paypal password but he would get it from him that day and issue me a refund. I called on 6/27 Jim told me the same thing, i told him i was angry and he said i had every right to be but he can't get ahold of his boss to get the passwords. I just called him on 7/2 and told him I was filing a case with local authorities & the FBI and he told me to "go ahead try." I gave him 1 more hour to get in contact with his boss (or call me with an update) to get the password and refund my $142. It has now been 3 hours and nothing. I have been trying to get a refund for almost 30 days now and everytime I call i get the same thing.... today i will refund your money, i guarantee. BEWARE OF THIS BUYER!!!!!!

I won a beanie bear from this guy using "buy it now" on Ebay April 22nd 2001. i paid immediatly via paypal for the amount of 105.94, for which i have proof of. i waited , emailed and called all without succes. i have finally filed a fraud report with ebay and will file the insurance form to get my money back. of course -25.00 deductible. this guy is a fraud and i can not believe ebay still has not sanctioned him !

Dale Borders-Beanieshowroom Comments: This man is a scam!! I won a auction on April 24. I paypal him 66.95 and have never recieved product. I have e-mailed him but have gotten no respond. I called him on 6/15 and he said that it would be maied on Monday, what it never came. Go I called again on 6/27, he made some excuse and said he would mail it that day, guess what never came. Since then I have called 4 times and gotten an answering machine, left messages and has never got a return call. It has been almost 90 days now. The guy is a liar and cannot be trusted. I can't believe e-bay allows this kind of thing.

I bought a Great Fire Dragon using BUYIT Now on Ebay. I emailed him several times and replied that the item will be shipped. The first time I called his office, I was told that the shipment was late and that it will be sent as soon as possible. The auction ended June 15, 2001 and I still have not received my item. DBDIST was suspended by ebay so there's a very small possibility that I will receive my item.

I sent Kelly Borders a money order for a tradee beanie babie on July 20th of this year and to this date have recieved NOTHING. She would not answer any of my e-mails until I sent one to DAVE and then she answered by telling me she would ship the beanie right away and forward the tracking number to me. What a JOKE that was as she never did as she said and had her e-mail address cancelled and the only way I can still send to her is by Dave Borders e-mail address which I have listed above. All I want is either the beanie babie I PAID for or my money back. I can't stand these scumbags who just suck people dry of their hard earned money as they wouldn't know what a hard days work is.

I purchased a tradee beanie babie using the buy it now feature from ebay auction #1617357456 for a total cost of $19.94 US I was e-mailed and told if the beanie was not shipped within 72 hours shipping would be free. I sent an American Exspress money order on July 20th 2001 and it was cashed on Aug. 2nd and another e-mail was sent telling me the tradee would be shipped on the 3rd or 4th of Aug. 2001by priority mail and a tracking number would be forwarded to me at that time. It's now April 8th 2002 and the beanie was never sent. I sent the money order to Kelly Borders 5 Pine St. Peabody Ma. 01960 and her and Dale have another address of DB Toys 300 Andover St. PMB #341 Peabody, Ma. 01960 I have been in contact with a detective from Peabody who paid them a visit on my behalf and they promised to send it out the next day and give Det. Faletra a tracking number which was never done either. On June 11th 2001 Dale says he has refunded or sent all merchandise and everything has been resolved and he is a liar. Mine was after that date but never resolved and all I want is the $19.94 US that they owe me for a tradee I paid for but never recieved. These are crooks of the worst kind and belong in jail so they can no longer rip off innocent people of their hars earned money.
