It would be so nice if someone could arrest him for mail fraud and get our money back! mine was the smallest amount. they were taken for hundreds.please help us,i will try to give you all the documentation i can find.thanks so much.Rhonda Virgil

I don't know if this is really appropriate - but I bought on ebay a fake orange digger (no surprise for $35.00) from:

User ID: taylee@attglobal.net
Name: Jenn Ward
City: Barrie
State: Ontario
Country: Canada
Phone: (705) 739 - 9980

My handle there is mattie420. Anyway, after some investigation, I found out that she also uses I.D. stcollectables@attglobal.net (now not registered after selling a fake $200 caw and a fake $500 blue peanut). I have been in contact with these buyers. Jennifer's mother has been contacted and knows Darren Burley (burley was signature on the back of one of the money orders). Darren Burley is also on your caution list - (but who would be alerted since it was done in Jennifer's name).  She also uses the e-mail address TaylorLee69Burley@hotmail.com. I sent money to
Stuffed Toy Collectables
41 Epsom Rd
Barrie, On, Canada
L4M R6R.

Jennifer's phone number is 1-705-739-9980

My concern is that she is continuing to sell high dollar beanis - promised that her mother bought on private auctions. No one can be warned about her. Is there nothing to do about it? Thanks for just letting me vent and appreciate any protection that you can afford other beanie lovers!    Anita.

I stated I could not guarentee the authenticity. I thought it was real, but to be safe I put that disclaimer in my auction.  That is why it sold for $35 not $300+ I have no idea who you are and why you are harrasing me with these threating emails. I WOULD LIKE YOU TO STOP BOTHERING ME before I press charges against you for harrasment.  Dont you have somthing else better to do than harrass people like me that actully send the product that they bid on???  Why dont you go after people who are trying to rip people off.

Darren Burley is at Barrie, Ontario Canada. I'm sorry if I got the boards confused. I contacted the Rhonda that made the complaint by e-mail and she stated that she never got a refund and that she thought it was a mother/son team but she didn't know the mother's name.

Another person I have been e-mailing (a winner from stcollectables@attglobal.net on ebay) is the person who talked to the "mother" when she called for Jennifer. I have e-mailed her and asked her to contact you. The lady who won caw for $200 from stcollectables@attglobal.net is the person who gave use the name Burley - That is why I was looking for any Burley and the other lady asked the mother about him and he does exist - stating he is Jennifer's friend.

I still have a copy of the auction for the orange digger I won for $35.00. I knew that was a "good deal" but figured if he was a fake I would request a refund. After enough time passed she posted another orange digger auction using the same picture but stated in this auction "no refund". When I wrote her with my concerns she stated it was not the same digger and that all sales are final.

I paid her with a money order and do not have it yet. The lady that purchased the blue peanut from stcollectables@attglobal.net received a copy of her money order and says the name is not legible. I have also since e-mailed E-bay and asked them if they knew stcollectable and taylee were the same people - as stcollectables was no longer registered and I figured she had paid her auction fees for $700 worth of beanies. I have a copy of that e-mail and it looks like today that taylee@attglobal.net is now not registered.  I have e-mailed Jennifer asking for a full refund within seven business days and she wrote back stating she didn't know what I was talking about and that if I wrote her another harrassing e-mail she would file a complaint on me and file charges on me. Can you tell me how to get ahold of the authorities in Barrie, Ontario Canada in order to file a internet fraud claim?  These are the e-mail addresses she has used that I am aware of:
taylee@attglobal.net;
stcollectables@attglobal.net and
taylerlee69@attglobal.net.

I have also sent copies of the same e-mails to Jennifer using Darren Burley's e-mail mapleleafs@ibm.net and they was not returned by the server - maybe he got them too. When I suspect something is going wrong with an auction, (like an identical auction up for sale), I usually start contacting previous buyers to see how it is going, as usually the "negative" feedback has not caught up to the seller yet. That is how I got most of my information and although I hate to through out $40.00 I feel worse for people getting scammed for a lot more. She was trying to protect herself when she started making the bidders private.   not only did the auction not state anything about refunds, she used the identical picture of orange digger to sell two more diggers......I have forwarded you a copy of the auction page.
Jennifer's phone number is 1-705-739-9980.  Will let you know anything else I find out. Thanks. Anita:)  Thanks for any help you can provide! Anita:)

The other seller was taylee@ttglobal.net (Jennifer Ward) in Ontario, Canada. That sale was also through ebay. I bought a tie-dyed lizzy for $59.00. That turned out to be a fake also. I contacted her and requested a refund. Haven't heard back from her, but I gave her one more day. I will try to call her and see if that works.

So many great deals are conducted on ebay. But this time the deal went bad and the seller has deals with other people too and they also went bad. What can you do the seller lives in Canada...I won a Royal Blue Peanut and sent payment express the item was also to be sent express. A month and a week later I received a counterfeit. I tried contacting her by e-mail and requested a refund. No Response. According to the auction the item stated authentic in the title and that it had the 1995 tush tag. The counterfeit has a 1993 tush tag. ebay auction # 1610694194 . I requested her contact information which was useless. The phone number is an answering machine. I found out through another bidder that Jennifer had more than one User Id on ebay. The ebay contact information for the other User Id was good. It was a real number to contact Jennifer at. I called and talked to Mom and later Jennifer, but nothing was resolved. Anita contacted you and gave you information to warn other people about Jennifer. I'm certain you contacted her and made her aware of the possible legal action that can be taken against her. By doing so - one hopes the seller will decide to make good on the deal - do the right thing and avoid police involvement.  Anita and I also contacted eBay and both User Id's were removed as registered Id's. I also have some other information if all the others who lost money will email me.

I filed a complaint against Jennifer Ward on September 9, 2001 on your website. I purchased a Royal Blue Peanut Beanie stated to be Authentic. What I received was a counterfeit. It took me awhile to find out how to contact her and I filed fraud charges through the police department to resolve the matter. The police officer who handled my complaint told me Jennifer Ward and Darren Burley were boyfriend and girlfriend. Jennifer Ward was selling Counterfeit Beanies for Darren Burley. Jennifer wouldn't implicate Darren in this deal gone bad so Darren walked away free and clear. Jennifer was investigated, arrested, questioned, and a court ordered her to pay me back. I received a check from the police department. I'm grateful I recovered my money. Jennifer lived in Barrie Ontario Canada and Darren lived in Toronto Canada.

Now Darren Burley is back on ebay selling Beanies again. His current User Id as of this date is dlb3200 If anyone has a complaint against Darren Burley concerning counterfeit Beanies please go to the Barrie Ontario Police Department Website. There is a phone number there to contact them. Ask for the fraud department. http://www.police.barrie.on.ca
I hope this information helps.

my name is ken nelson and i recently purchased Royal Blue Peanut beanie from dlb3200 and my auction number was 3133436571. the original peanut is shown in this auction photo and the one i received does not have white ears, they are pink inside. tag says 1993 but they were not made until 1995.i reported him to ebay and the barrie ont. canada police dept. fraud division via email and a phone call but have received neither back from them.i just finished reading all the scams he and his accomplice or accomplices have participated in and wonder how ebay would still let him sell fakes.i have a copy of my money order here with his signature endorsing it and i have the box that it was shipped in with a different handwriting than the one that endorsed my money order which means `more than 1 person is involved. thank you for taking the time to read this and any advise would be appreciated.    ken l nelson

Second chance offers, another way for scammers to sell LOTS OF FAKES...

EBAY USER ID SARAHK1124, connected to Darren Burley who has long been on the bad trader list for selling fakes, is using second chance offers to up his/her sale of fakes on eBay. It's obvious from feedback left and received that the original deal went through yet bidders who bid any substancial amount are then sent second chance offers. So the 12 auctions listed, all for the same 4 styles, Trap, Libearty, Orange Digger and Royal Blue Peanut have now become 25 offers to sell (that I know of, it's probably much more). So far all feedback is positive. Guess people are happy with their fakes. What do they expect for a $22 Trap? BEWARE. These will probably end up back on the market and maybe it won't be so obvious that they must be fake. AVOID sarahk1124 and second chance offers from fake sellers. sarahk1124's phone number and pay to info both go to D.Burley of Barrie ON. Darren Burley has been suspended from eBay numerous times under several IDs including nfl_card_king & dlb3200 just to name a couple.

Known bad trader with a page here on Traderlist is again selling on eBay. User ID is sarahk1124. They are back to selling counterfeit items. Last spring they sold over 25 counterfeit Traps, Orange Diggers, Royal Blue Peanuts and Libeartys with this ID. Now the listings are for a fake Royal Blue Peanut and a Sting. The Peanut has a 1993 copyright date on the tush which means it's definitely fake. This counterfeit seller from Barrie Ontario Canada has a long history of selling fakes under several different IDs and email addresses. Check his bad trader page. sarahk1124 is definitely a seller to avoid.
