Garland, Texas police have advised that victims of Dave Kopp from Garland or McKinney, Texas should not call their office, but that it is imperative that they report the fraud to the Internet Fraud Division, as they are the one's doing the investigating and compiling the evidence on this. You can file a report online at www.ifccfbi.gov  . It is extremely important that you do this and only takes a few minutes. The more reports they get on him the better. They have no way of knowing how many people he has ripped off unless the victims report it.

I'm coming to you again for some help. I have done some business with an individual many times over and had no problems, so we ventured into an agreement that he would get 12 Nipponias from me and make payments. The total was for $726.45. I have done over 5 transactions with him that were over $100.00 on each one with no problem. He always sent payment promptly and was not listed on your bad traders list. I think now he just needs the formal letter you send to encourage him to follow through. I will forward his emails from him to you. I guess I was too trusting, but who wouldn't be if you had been dealing with this person for a while? He has told me that a mo is in the mail, but it's been over a week and still today, no payment. My last email he hasn't answered, so I think he is thinking this over some. I hate to bother you about this but would appreciate any help you could give. I am a bit upset with this man because he bought these Nipponias back in January when I could of easily received $65.00 for each and sold to him for $60.00. I told him that he has to keep to the payment he states he has already mailed $180.00, then we can deal with the other 6 bears left. He's had these bears since January, for over 2 months!! I want him still posted on the bad trader's list because if anyone else deals with him, he decides what rules he wants to follow and that is very wrong. Right now he said he would go ahead and finish the actual transaction, sending me a payment today and then two combined on Friday. I told him actually all I wanted was him to be honest with me. No, he hasn't mailed the payment, claimed he mailed it and it came back, then he said he would mail another payment or actually the remain 2 payments on Friday, so that should of completed the trade. The total was $727.00 that he owed me and he made one payment of $187.00. Now he still has a balance of $520.00 or 9 Nipponia beanies. He purchased at $60.00 for each Nipponia back in January. I email Steve at Metaexchange and he said that Dave is now suspended as being a customer since March, so I guess he might of done something else to someone too. Anyways, I went to the Internet fraud site and already submitted a claim and will get a fraud claim form from my Post office. I have let Dave know this too and will then contact the Police Department there. I guess he must of hit rock bottom and he must not have my Nipponias, so that is why he hasn't mailed them back. I won 2 autcions of his on Bidville. The first was won on 2/18/01. I sent him a check for 15.95 incl shipping. The second auction was won on 2/23 and I sent an addl $11 for the item to be shipped with the first auction. His auction descrip guaranteed deliv by 3/31 or a full refund + 10% would be issued. I e mailed him on 4/13 asking for  my refund. He indicated it owuld be mailes out Sat 4/14. I NEVER arrived and now he isn't anssering my e mails. I have asked that Square Trade get involved since that is who BidVille recommends people use. He is obviously ignoring them too. I want my money back. I don't care about getting the 10% addl, but i want my $26.95 back. This man is slimy!!! Dave Kopp Comments: I purchased a Buckingham Buddy as a presell on 3-2-01 from Dave kopp for 65.00 + 5.50 shipping to be delivered no later than 4-15-01 or my money back. I was leary about presells so I checked his info on this site and there was no info on him at the time. He takes forever to return emails. He keeps telling me next week. Has also used the names Gilbert Kopp, Taylor Kopp and Evan Kopp, who claimed to be his son but used the same 3 or 4 word emails and same mailing address. When I questioned this, I was told he used his dad's emails because he didn't like to type. Evan used the email theboss2000tk@netscape.net I had bought and payed for 3 Nipponia and 1 Buckingham beanie from Dave Kopp which I never received. He tried to tell me the bears had been sent, but could produce no postal confirmation no.s to verify this. This was at least a month ago. He then told me he will send the bears. As of this date he has not sent me anything and is no longer answering any emails. I paid him $170 for these bears, and have nothing in return. I recently saw him on this list and realized I was not the only one having problems with him. I have dealt with him in the past without any problems other than slow delivery, but it would seem that he has been selling beanies he doesn't have, or perhaps just refuses to ship. I would never buy from him again. From the amount of complaints about him on this list, it seems he has been ripping off a lot of people. I don't give away free money to scam artists and intend to persue this any way I can.

This has to stop!. I am requesting of any victim on how to pursue this to the full extent of the law and have these criminals convicted.

Hi my name is Sue Eckton & I was advised to e mail.  I sent Dave Kopp $20 to pay for Hero & Dearest beanies (won on ebay auction site on the 13th April). The winning bid amt was $15 & $4.40 for postage so I just rounded it up & sent him a $20 note on the 14th April. To date I still have no goods! This is an up-date, since we are now into a new month and the list has changed. Any victims of Dave Kopp, who also goes under the names Gilbert Kopp, Evan Kopp and Taylor Kopp, please check the April and May postings to see the numerous complaints that have been filed on this man. He has a very long history of non delivery on Tytrade under the names joexx and joeaa and more. Right now he is still selling on Yahoo under the user name igotit2001 and is starting to also get negative feedback there for the same thing. He has ripped of a lot of people for a lot of money. If you are a victim of him it is extremely important that you file an internet fraud report. You can do this online at www.ifccfbi.gov It is easy to do and only takes a few minutes. They have no way of knowing how many people have been ripped off by him or the amount of money he has stolen unless you report it. The more reports they receive the better.

This guy still hasn't made good on my trade/deal with him. Still owing $360.00 and will go further with charges to get this guy put away. We all need to team up and press our charges together.

Dave Kopp aka Gilbert Kopp, Taylor Kopp and Evan Kopp, who had been operating under different user names on Tytrade is still selling under 2 different names on Yahoo, one of which is igotbeanies2001, which he has also used on different auction sites and isn't smart enough to change. He still hasn't refunded the money he owes me and a lot of other people, nor does he answer his email. The last few times I did hear from him, which has been a while, he claimed his "computer was sick" and that's why he can't answer email. Apparantely his computer is well enough to list and sell hundreds of items on Yahoo. Anybody having the misfortune of having dealt with this person and not getting the beanies they paid for and their money stolen, be sure to contact internet fraud. The address is listed on the NEWSFLASH page and also on his bad trader page. To people who are considering bidding on any of his auctions, Don't. You'll be throwing your money away. Dave Kopp is one of the biggest crooks around. Please be sure to check the April and May pages to view the numerous complaints on him.

AFTER 26 days and 17 emails and bad feedback left on yahoo I rec'd my beanies..but trust me it was a fight every inch of the way! He wouldnt supply me with shipping info and he was nasty. He sabotaged my feedback b/c i left him bad feedback...I wish i knew about this site before i bought from him. I will NEVER buy from him again and i wish he could be stopped. He is selling tons of beanies on yahoo and I feel badly for his next victim...I am lucky i rec'd my beanies which were just thrown in a box, without a plastic bag. The tush tags are creased and not mint as he said. I do belive it was spite , b/c of the way he packed them. all i can say is BUYERS BEWARE! and thank you to a woman who saw i was having problems with him and alerted me to the fact he is a rip off. What a great day!! I received the trade from the UK. about $150.00 less than when it should of arrived, but here, she mailed to a friend in the states and had it forwarded to me. Then I received the final payment in full from Dave Kopp, the whole $360.00!!!! Hard to believe I would even see the results on this but it came through. After Mr.Kopp emailed me on June 13,2001 and again on June 20, 2001 telling me that my refund for the 4 auctions on which he stole the money has been sent, the lousy scum has finally refunded the money into my Paypal account on July 2nd. It sure was a coincidence that earlier on that same day I also received an email from a detective at the McKinney, TX police dept. informing me that charges had been filed against Mr. Kopp. You don't think this could have had any thing to do with it do you? He also left a little message that sounded a little threatening along with it.

I submitted a cashier's check in the amount of $80.45 for 3 winning bids on 2 Nipponia beanie babies and 1 Issy beanie baby and I still have not received them. I have been communicating with Nancy Barrett today and she gave me your email address because she was aware of my past dealings with him. I won 2 separate auctions on Bidville for Sakura Buddy and Niponnia Beanie from Dave Kopp operating under beaniesho1@aol.com in March 2001. He cashed both money orders, but never shipped the bears to me. I have contacted him on many occasions but he still refuses to cooperate with me. I have also filed a complaint with the Internet Fraud Squad. He's currently operating under Fastcomputersfor@aol.com on Yahoo. This man is a total crook and has ripped-off many honest people to the tune of $1000's. He must be stopped.

This person ripped me off for $36.50 back in July. I just found this site and did not realize the extent of his fraud. He is also on Yahoo auctions under these same id's still getting bids!!

I have a complaint on some beanies I ordered and won on yahoo auction. I need on information on how to get my money back. 260.00 worth. His name is Dave Kopp and its been since last year since I won them and paid for them. I ordered Unity from him but it was under diffrent name and my returned cashed check had his name on it that he wrote, I tried to go through the BBB twice and never heared back from them again and faxed them all the information, Any help would be much appreciated thank you and please reply soon Michele.

I sent him a personal check in NOV. 2000 & he endorsed it on NOV. 4 or 11, 2000 (I still have that cancelled check + email copies he sent me. I had to email him several times as to status of shipment, as I had also won 3 other beanies, which he finally sent to me, after several emails. He promised me the next shipment of beanies, but never sent them. So I am out $ 324.00 from dealing with this FRAUD.
I know that he pleaded NO CONTEST in Texas.
I think he is back on YAHOO under the ID name of FASTCOMPUTERS 2000. He is just getting some bad ratings.
Please help me if you can.

I sent money for an America beanie baby on the 3rd of November. He told me the bear was shipped last wedensday the 14th of November and I have not recieved the Beanie. Now he will not respond to my email. Guess that I have learned a lesson from buying on the internet. Buyers beware do not send him money you will not recieve anything in  return.
