I was one of the many winning bidders if Ebay Auction#562590186 for 2 Issy Bears on February 22, 2001. She sent me the first email on Feb. 23, 2001 and I sent her a check (which has been cashed) for $40.07. Her auction stated Issys' would be shipped in 30 days or less. I realized on April 10, 2001, that I didn't receive Issy and it had been over 30 days. So I emailed her and asked when they would ship. No response. I emailed her again on April 13, 2001. Still no response. I checked Ebay today and found she is now an unregistered user and their are 9 current negative feedbacks on her ID. Ebay will not help in is. I have emailed her numerous times since 4/13/01. I did get an email from her on 4/22/01 stating that the bears were coming in slowly and she would ship them as soon as she could. I emailed her after that and continuously asked for a reply. She has never replied. I sent the last email on 06/03/01 and it bounced back stating USER Unknown. I have filed a fraud complaint with the post office, I posted a message on the Traderlist board. The majority of this email is copied from what I originally posted. I have tried to file an Internet fraud complaint but because this is an old computer I can't get past page one. Any ideas. I am completely frustrated because she refused to answer any of my emails and she has taken my money. I hope you can help me by giving me some advice on what to do next.
Thanks for your time Pat.
Sincerely,
Robin Washburn

In March I won and paid for two auctions for 4 Eggs and 4 Issy bears from this eBay seller. The only communication I had from her after I paid was to ask when I would be paying - even though I had used PayPal. Then she said she had no record of the payment. I sent her a link to the payment page and on 23rd April she said she would be shipping as soon as she received her Ty shipment, six weeiks ago (are these bears swimmimg across the Atlantic?). This woman owes me nearly $150.00 and I am fed up with sellers ripping me off - this is the sixth time I have been caught in as many months and they have taken a total of nearly $1000 between them. How on earth can we as sellers get to trust buyers? I truly think that I shall have to buy only from eBay and Yahoo sellers who I know and trust. Feedback isn't necessarily a good guide any more - some sellers seem to have good feedback and still defraud people
