I am a Cdn collectoor who needs some help. On August 22, Eric answered my ad to trade his MWMTS smoke free Germania Buddy for my MWMTS Sakura. Before I traded I had checked out his references on Ebay and they were fine. It is now September 19 and I have not received his Germania Buddy. I emailed him on Sep.2 to see if he got my Sakura. He emailed backto say he did get it. He asked me if I had received his package and I wrote back and said that I had not. In the last 16 days I have emailed 3 times and he has not replied. I have copied his emails below. Any suggestions would be appreciated. My daughter and I who are collectors have been wanting Germania Buddy for a long time. Please see following email where he says he got mine.

Other email address may be kingty2k@hotmail.com. From White Plains, New York. Linda Choy posted on Eaglesnest trade site. It is an insidetheweb trade site. She gave me her references as kingty2k on Ebay. Ebay gave me personal information about kingty2k and the name they gave was Nguyet Nguyen (not Linda Choy). Metaexchange had a registered user with the same mailing address, but there the name was registered as Erich Pham. Nancy

I've had a bad trade and need some help. I saw an ad for a Liberty Beanie on the KnK traders Board. I e-mailed him an offer of a MWMTs Maple Buddie, Liberty Buddie, Britannia Beanie and The End Bear. At first he refused my offer then a week later he e-mailed me back and said if I was still interested he would trade with me. I accepted. We exchanged feedback sites. His feed back was at Ebay under kingty2k@hotmail.com that is also his e-mail address. We agreed to mail out Monday morning August 28th with air mail. I waited a week and then e-mailed him on September 5th and asked if he had received my package. He e-mailed me back on September 6th and said he had not received it yet. I then e-mailed him again on September 13 and said that I still had not received his package and asked if he had received mine, I got no response. I then e-mailed him again September 17 and said I was starting to get worried because the package had not arrived yet and he was not contacting me. I e-mailed him again on Sept19 and said if I did not get an e-mail within 3 days I would contact mail fraud authorities. Then I e-mailed him again Sept, 21 and said it was his last chance to set things straight. I got no response from any of those e-mails. I would really like to get my beanies back or do something to this guy. Both if possible. Can you help me?

I ENTERED A TRADE FOR LIBEARTY BEANIE WITH HUY PHAM, I SHIPPED AND SAW THAT HE REC'D 2 DAYS LATER. HE TOLD ME HE SHIPPED AS WELL, BUT SINCE I AM IN PA, I KNEW IT WOULDNT TAKE 6 DAYS TO GET HERE. I CALLED HIM AND HE TOLD ME HIS NAME WAS ERIC. HE PRETENDED THAT HIS WIFE MADE THE TRADE AND THAT HE DIDNT KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT IT. I CALLED THE POLICE IN HIS AREA, WHO IN TURN CALLED ERIC AND I GUESS SCARED HIM. I EMAILED ERIC AND TOLD HIM TO SEND MY PACKAGE BACK. HE TOLD ME THAT THE PACKAGE HE SENT ME ON THE 6TH WAS RETURNED TO HIM FOR SOME REASON AND HE AGREED TO SEND MY THINGS BACK TO ME. I AM GUESSING HE NEVER HAD THE LIBEARTY BEANIE TO TRADE AT ALL!!! I GOT MY STUFF BACK 2 WEEKS LATER AND BY THE LOOKS OF YOUR STORIES, I GUESS I AM LUCKY. I HAVE ERIC PHAMS PHONE NUMBER AND I HAVE THE PHONE NUMBER OF THE LOCAL POLICE THERE. IF YOU NEED ANY HELP, EMAIL ME AND I WILL GIVE YOU ANY INFO I CAN. THANKS!! I HOPE SOMEONE PUTS A STOP TO HIM!!!!!!

I am still working on getting my Sakura back from Eric Pham/Huy Pham. Recently there was another complaint filed against him. I got hold of LeAnn and Lee from the UK and explained how he had scammed me. LeAnn gave me his adress and the phone number for the White Plains Police department. I sent this email mail and got this reply. I think he is up to his games and making up a story about his daughte trading improperly. Please see the email that he sent tonight. What a scam artist! I'll keep you posted. If it is not returned Sakura in 2 weeks timne I will keep pursing it with White Plains police. Jean

traders_name: E. Pham Comments: I sent payment to this eBay seller in November for a Maple buddy, Maple beanie, Santa buddy, 2 2000 Signature beanies, Roxie, Snowgirl, and Germania buddy. A month later I received most of the order (I was lucky), but not the Germania buddy. After many emails, I called the White Plains, NY police department and filed a complaint. Address for these sellers is 208 Battle Ave. Apt.2 White Plains, NY 10606. I was also given the name Nguyen to use if I paid by Paypal. I wanted to add this email address to the complaint list as I didn't see it listed by other buyers. This must be quite a ring of fraudulent sellers working in the White Plains area. I just wonder why Detective Lee of their police department didn't inform me of the other complaints when I called 1-10-01!! I am still trying to get a refund for the Germania that was never sent. Any help you can offer will be appreciated. Thanks.

This person sent me a fake Maple after advertising on Collecting Nation. His mailing address is in Long Island, NY and he has now been suspended from CN for not giving proper contact details. I suspect him of going under several other names as well such as Eric Huy, Huy Pham Linda Choy

It has been a very long time, almost six months since Eric Huy ripped me off when I sent him a Sakura beanie and he was to sent a Germania Buddy. I had enlisted your help and he was put on the bad trader's list. With my constant barrage of emails, I was surprised to receive a Germania Buddy from him today. He apologized for the trouble but I feel he is not sincere and has told non stop lies. I still would never trade with him again. I appreciate all your help. Thank you.  Jean

He said he received my parcel and even claimed to resend his package when I did not receive anything, although I have since learned that this is a trait of his. at Ryebypost trading board. I sent him a Chinook beanie and a Prince Von Gold on the 18th October 2002, he was to send to me a Vanda beanie and a clubby 5 set. Till this day, I have not received anything. I was getting e-mails from him right up to Christmas saying the package must of got lost and that he would send them again. Since then I have found another person, down at Ryebypost trading board, who also sent him beanies, back in September 2002 and has not received anything and has stopped getting e-mails also.
