On 10/22/02 I won an eBay auction from eBay member "fredbyrd55". After 6 emails and 30 days of excuses and empty promises I filed complaints with eBay, Paypal and the National Fraud Association. He has bogus info listed on his info sheet with eBay. I personally was scammed for $79.09 and there are currently 4 other known bidders who have filed complaints and negative feedback. I believe there will be many many more and the total dollar amount could be in the thousands. He has also closed his Paypal account but continues to accept payments thru them, for now! BEWARE! This is the worst seller or buyer I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing.

I won an auction of Nov.5th for 3 beanie babies. They were supposed to have been shipped on 11/22 but no package and no response to e-mails. This was a dutch auction so a lot of people did not get their beanies. I am out $37.10. These people need to be stopped.

I sent this person $38.99 for a set of UK flower bears using a verified Paypal account, on Nov.5. He received the money, but I have not received my bears. I have tried to contact him by phone, but his phone has been disconnected. He now refuses to answer my e-mails. I have threatened to pursue legal action against him, but he still will not respond to my e-mails.

Today is 12/5/02 and there are no beanies, I have been in contact with Fred and twice he said they were shipped. Once they were shipped on 11/22/02 and to waid at least 7 days, then I contacted him again and he said there should be there no later than Friday 12/6/02.

Many people have been contacting him with no response, and some have now filed complaints and negative feedbacks.

One person wrote me that he has bogas address, no phone number listed with ebay and closed his paypal account.

I want to give him the benifit of the doubt but I am afraid to wait too long.

I figured I will wait until Friday (tomorrow) and if no beanies arrive I will cancel my credit payment (hopefully that will work) and file a complaint.

Prepaid 38.99 for Daffodill set (3) and have not received after many E-mails. He had the nerve to give me positive feedback!!!!!!

Won a presell on 11/5/02 for the UK trio for $37.10. When I did not receive the beanies as promised on 11/22/02, I contacted Fred and he said they should arrive by Dec. 6 at the latest. They still haven't arrived and he no longer answers my emails. Beware of this seller.

Ebay's fraud protection launched their investigation and got no response from fredbyrd55 - Fred Biazillion. They have issued a reimbursement for part of my loss (33% of price paid after their administrative charge). It helps but still totally disgusted by the outcome.
