I would like to report a bad trader on Ebay that I purchased Beanie Babies from. I sent Beanies to Pbbags Inc. and it was fake. I have a signed letter from that company stating that fact. The seller has been contacted many times but will not refund my money and have since not responded to my emails. The 90 day limit has passed. I have been in contact with Linda Gerdeman (gerdiez@wmconnect.com) who also received a fake beanie from ChadnGen. She is the one who told me that maybe you could help me and that I should give you her email address and she would help if she could to stop this person. She says Chadngen has lots more fake beanies. This is what her ad said:

ChadnGen or chadngen-old sold fake beanie Humphrey the Camel (item 1772766491) for $107.50 + Sh on Oct. 7 2002. I paid through PayPal. Her email address was ChadnGen@flash.net but the last time I sent an email it was not deliverable. Linda Gerdeman said it now might be chadngen1@earthlink.net. The address that I have for her is

I sent the beanie back to her for my refund so I no longer have the beanie or my money. But I have all emails and other documentation.   If there is anything you can do to help me get my money back or at least stop these people I would really appreciate it. If there is anything else you need let me know.   Thankyou!    Monica

Geneveive McKay sold me a Fake Ty Old Face Violet Teddy and I have found out they also sold a Fake Ty Humphrey beanie to another person. I luckily had my money returned through Paypal BUT I also have e-mails confirming that they have many others to sell. BUYERS BEWARE THIS SELLER! I purchased an Old Face Violet Teddy on e-bay from her. Luckily I paid with Paypal and used the Paypal guarantee. They didn't mail it out as soon as promised but that was OK. When I received it I knew it was a fake and immediately (same day) contacted her for a refund. I also contacted Becky True Blue (I beanies authenticated with her) that confirmed that the bear and tag were fake because it had all of the indicaters on both tags, as well as different colored threading for stitching. Anyway, Gen would not give me a refund-just wanted to give me the run-a-round, so I filed a case with Paypal and they gave me my money back. I sent the bear to Paypal-not Gen. I won the case and she posted Negative feedback for me because I filed Negative feedback for her. Her e-mails state that she has many old beanies and "who knows how many are fake" those are her own words and also says " I don't know anything about beanies, I purchased them on e-bay". Why would anyone that knows nothing about beanies have a lot of older beanies and also search and buy them on e-bay? Even after I sent her proof that it is illegal to sell Fake beanies she doesn't care and feels that it is OK because she doesn't guarantee authenticity. She needs to be stopped. I also have noticed other postings for someone else from Plano Texas that sells as Toys something on Bad traderlist and it makes wonder if they are the same people because they also sell toys and other stuff. If you need any of the e-mails of the conversations for the Fake Violet Teddy, I have them saved and would love to see these people stopped as well as help those that they scammed get their money back in any way I can.

hi Trudy - I recently noticed that you posted a Bad Trader post on me.  I have a problem with you listing my address and telephone numbers in that listing. Name my name, that's OK. But you are violating Privacy Laws by listing that other information. I request that you immediately delete that information (being my address and phone numbers) from your Internet site or I may be compelled to litigate. Please respond within 24 hours.   Gen

Cautionlist: It is not against the law to post this information about someone unless they give you the info and ask you not to post it. I got no information from Gen. She emailed me when she saw she was on the list but ignored all email sent to her about complaints about her. what does that tell you??
