I was reading all the complaints on this site and some other women said
that you had helped them get their stuff. Well I am new at this and this
computer. I had bidded on ebay for aset of buddies (Maple, Brittania and
Spangle ) back on Sept 4 and won. It was a dutch auction. I won and paid
the amount of $197.88. My mother wanted me to bid on the set for her so I
did and it was by the same person. Her set of 3 buddies cost her $ 189.00
( Sept. 8 ). We were suppose to get the buddies by Dec. 21 or we would get
a refund. Well we have found out that this person has stuck about 50 or more
people on the buddies. He will not send them or give our money back. Someone
e-mailed me and said that he got about $17,000. from all of the people who
had won on these auctions. Now he is trying to sell the buddies on
smartcollecting. So, we know he has them. His e-mail address is slice@home.com
and his name is George Csicsila. And his mailing address is :
George Csicsila Jr.
2740 Club Mar Dr. #3C
Sarasota, Fl. 34237
Please let me know what me and my mother can do about this person. I have
e-mailed him several times and no answer. Thanks,

9/8/99 I won auction #157643607 on EBay for Britannia, Maple and Spangle
Buddies and sent a money order for $219.03 to George Csicsila Jr at above
address. This was a presell with delivery no later than 12/21/99 or refund
in full. He had a high, positive feedback rating. He is not responding to
any emails to me or about 53 similar sales based on the group mailings going
on about this guy now. He has sent messages to some people that he will not
provide refunds and he is not answering emails. EBay said their insurance
policy will not cover our losses because they were not filed within 30 days
after auction closed - which means any presells not delivered in 30 days
will not be insured. He was at least temporarily banned from EBay and has
since blocked feedback so traders can not see his recent activity. And I
just see that he is now trading as slice@home.com on smartcollecting.com.

11/7/99 George Csicsila won my auctions #193187496 and #193193199 for 2 Maple
Buddies, Maple Beanie, Maple TBB, Peace, Halo and Snowboy Buddies for a total
of $431.51. I provided him payment and mailing address on 11/8/99. Received
no response.
11/17/99 Sent followup message requesting payment.
11/18/99 George Csicsila sent an email saying he was sorry; no excuses; he
just dropped the ball on the 2 auctions; and he would put a payment in the
mail.
11/19/99 George Csicsila asked if I would take a credit card. Told him no.
I have never heard from him since except the negative feedback he posted
to me (lolilalo) after I reported the situation on his user ID.
11/26/99 Sent 3rd followup message request payment.
11/26/99 Called George at 941-750-1497 with no response.
11/28/99 Sent final followup message to him and stated I would request value
credit fee refund from EBay for non-payment.
11/29/99 I called EBay and am waiting a return call.
Any assistance you can provide would be most helpful. I have sent him $751.03.
In addition, he did not honor 2 auctions with me for a total of $431.51
(fortunately I did not ship the items to him.)

I won a presell auction in Sept. for brittania, maple, and Spangle buddies.
Slice@home.com guaranteed to ship by Dec. 21, 1999 and instead sent out a
letter on Dec. 22, 1999 saying they will not give refunds. I have been contacted
by several people who are going through the same thing and now I am trying
to warn everyone I can. I would not want anyone to have to go through this.
Beware, slice has moved to other sites, after be kicked of ebay twice in
the last three months. Leslie

I recieved your email address from a person that I have never met but
we share a common problem. We both bid on auctions for Maple, Brittania,
and Spangle beanie buddies from the same person. The auction ended on 9-12-99.
It was a presale so I mailed him a money order for $577.77 for 3 sets of
these buddies on 9-15-99, and they were guaranteed by December 21st 1999.
That day came and went with no buddies and on 12-22 he emailed a large number
of people that had won these auctions and let us know that they have not
recieved their buddies yet, no set date of when to expect them and that no
refunds were being givin out. Here is his info:

HI, I am part of a group of people that have bid on auctions on ebay that
the seller is now not honoring his part of the deal. Another person that
is part of this told me to email you with the info. The EBAY auction # is
159577375 and closed back on 9/17. It was a presell auction with a guarantee
delivery date of 12/21 or all monies would be refunded. the seller slice@home.com
has since emailed saying there will be no refunds. Can you help? Diana O'Neill

Complaint filed by: kke2@juno.com
My name is Karen Esterak and per the forwarded message below it was
recommended that all of us that have been scammed by George R. Csicsila.Jr
email you. ON 9/8/99 I bid on his presale auction for a Britannia, Maple
and Spangle Buddies. He guaranteed delivery by 12/21/99 or he would gladly
refund our money. I sent check for fullpay ($216.03) on 9/13 and he cashed
it on 9/21. I noticed several weeks later that he had several hundred of
these buddies listed on EBAY & I had already heard that each store would
only get 6 per month. The auction I bid on was a dutch auction with 3 sets
available which didnt sound unreasonable. I knew we were probably in big
trouble though when I realized that he was selling hundreds of these buddies
as there was little likelihood he would ever get enough to fill all the orders.
I emailed him the end of September to inquire about this and did not get
a response. On 10/7 he sent a generic response to everyone that we shouldnt
send him emails as he "has hundreds of auctions on 4 different sites (I have
no idea what the other 3 sites are) and he receives over 400 emails a day
so all future emails would go unanswered." On 12/14, I emailed him to inquire
whether or not he was going to be able to meet 12/21 deadline and if he wasnt,
could I please get a refund. ON 12/17 I sent another email since I got no
response to the 12/14 email and again inquired as to whether or not the buddies
had been shipped or would be shipped in the next 2 days and if not could
I please get my refund. ON 12/22 he sent a generic reply to everyone that
he hasnt received all his orders and he will ship as soon as he gets the
buddies. He further stated that "no refunds would be issued at this time."
I emailed him and stated that I expected a refund since we had a legal contract
and he guaranteed delivery by 12/21 or a full refund. I stated that if he
was unwilling to refund my money I would have no choice but to contact USPS
Postal Inspector, National Fraud INformation Center, the FBI, EBAY, etc.
This time I got a personal reply. He advised me to "have fun filing my stupid
claims and while I was wasting my time he was moving me to the end of his
shipping list." I did post negative feedback on EBAY and I have been trying
to contact National Fraud Center but their line is constantly busy. I will
pick up claim form from Post Office this week. He advised someone else that
it was a waste of time to file these claims as he knows they wont do anything.
I have since emailed him 2 more times begging him to do the honorable thing
because I dont want to have to take any actions against him and of course
no reply. In the meantime 1 of the other individuals involved discovered
that on 12/17 he listed the very buddies he supposedly doesnt have for sale
on SmartCollecting.com for $150 each. I dont know whether he really has them
& is trying to get more for them or if he is just trying to scam some
more people. As stated previously he is apparently involved in several other
sites but I am not sure what they are. He uses his email address: Slice@home.com
on EBAY & Smartcollection.com. Any help you can provide would be greatly
appreciated. Thanks so much Karen ESterak

My auction ended September 3,1999 and I bid on 6 Brittania Buddies guaranteed
to deliver no later than 12/21/99 or a full refund. Not only have I not received
my buddies but no refund has been forthcoming. I mailed my check #1180 on
September 4,1999 in the amount of $480.99 and it was cashed on September
10, 1999. The seller was George Csicsila Jr., 2740 Club Mar Drive #3c, Sarasota,
Florida 34237. He has been very rude at times calling me an idiot and other
names I won't print on the internet. I just kept asking him when I could
receive my refund. I did get the paper work from the Inspector General at
the post office and mailed it today as George had promised my refund would
be forthcoming by the first of this week and now he wouldn't even answer
my e-mail. So I didn't feel I had any choice. What district attorney should
I call? Would it be the one here or where George lives? Thank you for any
assistance you can give to me in this matter. Also George s e-mail address

I was given your name by another buyer of Slices presale buddies. On Sept
7, 99 I purchased a Maple Buddy on a presale from George at Slice@home.com
and he promised delivery on December 21st. He would not answer any emails,
and only sent out two general, and very rude emails to all his buyers stating
that there were delays and that we would get our buddies later. He also said
that if we wanted a refund there would be a delay due to the default of many
"deadbeat bidders". I sent him my cashiers check immediately after I won
the auction and as of this time I have not received either my buddy or the
refund. Lisa said that you were suggesting that we file a group mail fraud.
I have written to George demanding either my buddy or a refund, and assuming
that that does not happen, please tell me how to be included in the mail
fraud filing against this seller. Thank you for your help

I was told to contact you regarding Slice@home.com. I was the successful
bidder for one on Slice's auctions for two Britannia Buddys. When I won the
auction, Slice made several representations to me (listed below), he hasn't
kept any of them.
(1) Delivery by 12/21/99. (No delivery to date.)
(2) Items would be shipped on a first-come, first served basis. I was sent
a personal e-mail promising this. (Three Britannias were shipped to a gentlemen
whose auction closed long after mine-I have an e-mail from him to prove
it.)
(3) Money would be refunded immediately if Slice could not deliver by the
date promised in the auction listing. (I did receive an e-mail on 12/22 offering
me a refund-but not until 14 to 21 days after January 8, 2000.)
(4) That he had multiple contacts in Canada and England. (His bid history
indicates otherwise, as he has been bidding--quite highly I might add--on
Maples and Britannias for the past couple of months).
(5) That Slice would provide periodic status reports on the status of my
order. I received nothing and all attempts to reach him have gone unanswered.
I was advised to contact you and was told that you may be able to assist
me. Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated. Thanks so much,

This must be a joke, we have hundreds of orders daily so if we're ripping
people off why so many continuous orders? Seems the buyers are just impatient,
they've been guaranteed a refund. They will be emailed when their refund
is shipped. still getting 40-50 orders a day. I understand these buyers are
impatient for their guaranteed refunds but they were guaranteed one. With
so many going out, they will be slow but they're guaranteed! Have a good
day!-slice-

I was high bidder on a Britannia Buddy pre-sell, eBay #152107117, which
ended 9/3/99. I sent George Csicsila Sarasota, FL 34237) a U.S. Postal Money
Order for $107.50 on 9/7/99. He guaranteed delivery by 12/21/99 or said he
would "glady refund my money in full."I sent e-mails on 12/10/99 and 12/15/99
asking if he was going to be able to deliver. He did not reply until 12/22/99,
with a generic e-mail saying the buddies were "held up in cusoms" since November.
He said he would refund, but could not get the refunds out until late January.
I told e-mailed back, saying I would be willing to wait a little longer for
the buddy (until 1/31/99 if necessary). From the other complaints, it looks
like he is either a scam artist or at the least an incredibly rude seller
who makes little effort to follow through with his auctions. If I do not
hear from him, I plan to send an e-mail on 1/28/99, and if he does not reply,
I will send a formal complaint to the U.S. Postal Service.Whether he is a
crook or just rude, he belongs on this caution list and should be avoided!
I am glad someone has a local connection in Florida to check him out. If
the investigation gets any action taken, please list me as one of his victims!

so many "legal" complaints to the authorities about him? Do they just take
the complaint and don't do anything? I want to nail this guy - he has just
angered me beyond belief! What is even sadder is I have been around a long
time buying/selling and that I've been "taken" by someone with a "high rating"
on Metaexchange.com makes me wonder what he does to people that are new to
the net or don't know the ropes. Thanks for your time. Mary R. Milazzo

CAUTION, Do not deal with this man. I hate to say it but with all of the
alias this man has, I wouldn't send money to anybody I met or found over
the internet from his town unless I called and talked to them in person.I
think he is using aol and free email sources to give himself lots of email
addies. He then is using a credit card, nothing on ebay says that multiple
accounts made with the same credit card will be prosecuted. He is legit with
a couple of his accounts and rips people off with his other accounts. On
all of his accounts, I am sure that you will find feedback from his other
accounts. This man will use any site to get your money, if I didn't know
any better I would think this is a kid doing it for kicks and money. Apparently,
he posted a page on ebay bragging about how many different ids he has had
and how he sets people up buying minor buddies. When a major item like Sakura
or the international buddies come out, he does mass presell auctions, taking
50 people or more in less than a couple of weeks. The rest of the time, he
almost never answers email concerning when he is delivering. The beauty of
it all, he mimics legit sellers, making it hard to find him by his ads alone.
If you use ebay, please write them, call them, or even drive to their head
quarters and talk them into changing their policy concerning new members.
They should be checking if a member/exmember is using the same name, same
address, and same credit card to open an account as someone either booted
from the system or currently in the system. On the other sites, if you see
one of George's alias on another site, send them everything you know about
this guy. They won't want him on the site if they hear from dozens of people
and check his various addies out on ebay. Leslie the hopping mad alaskan

I have notified Ebay about her actions and also filed with Lloyds of London. I have $906 out there and no beanies. I have also contacted and am working with her local authorities in Holmes Beach Fl. I just talked with a Detective Nancy Rogers who is building a case. We have over 10 other individuals who have also been scammed. How do we get her off her auction site. Many more are bidding on High $$ items that she is unable to deliver. I will forward your notice to all and here is her name and address.

Brittania, Maple and Germania for another total of $306. Ebay auction site
on Aug. 22/00. She claims she sent them Aug. 25. Never have received Email

questioning her. It promped her to go home and answer the emails of many
who have not received merchandise. Denies all acusations and will not cooperate
with authorities. Thanks again Phyllis in Iowa

I have a message from a detective Nancy Rogers in Holmes Beach Fl. who is investigating Crowderbeanies@aol.com. Lisa Ricci or Reichert. She is a part of a group who are doing big time scamming. The group is headed by a George Scicsila. If you will go to this site, it will tell the story of these people. http://www.geocities.com/iluvbc2/ineedmybeanies.htm). Detective Rogers has just informed me that in her investigations of Lisa Ricci, and George Scicsila, that they are involved in scamming as many as 450 people on the net and involving THOUSANDS of $$. George has a criminal record in Sarasota, and has threatened bodily harm to the person who has set up this web site to expose he and other scammers. If you have any info on these people, please contact
Detective Nancy Rogers of Holmes Beach Fl. Investigations.

I Just talked with Detective Nancy Rogers today. She is investigating
George and Lisa Reichart in the Holmes Beach Fl. area. She is compiling
Affidafits from as many as she can who have been scammed by these two. He
only lives blocks from the Police station she works out of. She has had him
in for questioning. Lisa many times. They are feeling the heat, I think Lisa
is getting nervous, but George must be a real BAD ONE as he is so smug and
keeps a grin the time of questioning. Nancy is so close to making an arrest,
I just hope they don't vanish before she gets it done. She is really interested
in this case and is working hard to get an arrest and conviction. Will keep
you updated. I have filed with everybody I know of. I have sent over $900
in MO to these people. L of L from Ebay will only cover up to $200. I just
want to see a conviction at this point. I know I will never see my money
from these people, but at least maybe we can stop them. Thanks Phyllis in

George and his accomplice Lisa Ricci. I was scammed by them in August of
2000 for more than $900. An investigation began in Holmes Beach Fl. where
they are still residing. The investigation was lead by Dectective Nancy Rogers
of Holmes Beach until it was turned over to Postal Investigator Joe Robinson.
About two months ago, I heard from Joe R. saying it would take another 30
days to present all evidence, from my case and 12 others to The District
Attourney and that there was a solid case against George S. and Lisa Ricci.
I have heard no more and hope this case has not been put on the back burner,
as we all know George and Lisa are sitll on the net scamming hundreds of
people. George is so sure he will not get jail time, and maybe he is right.
We are just little fish, not enough $$$ involved, to take the time to prosecute
George and Lisa. I really doubt if I will ever hear from either Nancy Rogers
or Joe Robinson again. Further more, I surely know that I will never recoup
my $900, they stole from me. Our legal system stinks. What they did to me
and many others was FRAUD.

I just posted on the bad trader list about a man who has scammed me. Apperently
you have heard of him before. I am sure you are very busy, as I know that
there are alot of frauds out there. I only lost $10.49, but I dont think
it is the point. I never expect to see the money again. I just dont want
others to be taken by this man.
His name (as far as I know) is George Csicsila.
(wildagain1984@hotmail.com). He gave me an address of PO Box
72, Cortez, Florida. 34215. He has cashed my MO after he told me that he
was sending it back to me after he stated that $5.95 was not enough shipping
to send me the buddy I bought. I have contacted the USPS to no avail. I can
not find a way to contact the fraud police. Please, if you can help, let
me know.
Thank you in advance,
Fed up in BC.

This man cashed my check, did not send merchandise, and ignores emails.
From what I have read about him, I am lucky it was not a large amount of
money.
