I have had dealings with a bad trader. My name is Mary Currie and I live
in Scotland. Her name is
Ginger Carson
119 St Therese St.
DIEPPE, New Brunswick, Canada.
Her email adress is gingerc@collectaholics.com. She trades on Ebay as
gingerc.
I agreed to trade her a Buckingham Buddy and a Unity bear for a Maple Buddy and a Chinook bear. We both (supposedly) posted our parcels on 18th July and she received mine 2 weeks later. She said that she had got in touch with the post office at her end, but in the meantime she would send me a second parcel and mark it with a (2). Well it has been over 3 weeks since she (supposedly) posted the second parcel. I have since done other deals with people from Canada and their parcels arrived in under 2 weeks. I hope that you can help me solve this matter. I would be very grateful for any help you can give me. I received this email today is response to my post on traderlist: It is from
Rosemary Bennet - RBENNET@lmi.org
"I just read your post on the Trader list about Ginger Carson. I had problems with her a couple of years ago. I bought a Maple beanie from her on auction and the one I received had a hole in the head. I sent it back to her and when I received the next package it had a pugsley in it and she claimed that I was lying and that she really sent another Maple. Her boyfriend Dan Thibodeau is a really vile person. He sent me threatening e-mails and used the most vulgar language I have ever read. Some nerve when they were the ones that cheated me. I never got the Maple. She had the nerve to leave negative feedback for me on BN, can you believe that. They are real crooks. Best of luck to you Rosemary"
Thank you Mary (Scotland, UK)

never replied to emails.

Update filed by: mary.s.currie@breathemail.net (Mary Currie.)
I could not believe what I received in the post today, a package from
Ginger Carson. It contained both the Maple Buddy and the Chinook bear. It
was posted on 3 September 2001. (she was supposed to post the first package
on 18 July and the second package on 17 August). There was no letter of
explanation in it. I think she must have finally come to her senses when
I threatened legal action. I still know of others who never received their
goods, so I would not take her name off the bad trader list. What gets
me is that she never came back to either of us when we said that we would
put her on the bad trader list. Knowing that she eventually posted the package
to me, you would think that she would come back in defense of herself. Underneath
the label with my name and address, there was another label with the name
and address for a gentleman in England. Thank you for all your help.

At the beginning of August we arranged a trade, I would send her a Buckingham
Buddy and in return she would send me a Special Olympics Valentino, both
of these are TY products. We agreed to send out at the same time because
both of us have good references. I send my half and about two weeks later
she confirmed delivery. She then mentioned that she had not sent her part
of the deal because she found that it was damaged, she said that she would
send me other 5 other assorted Canadian Bears instead which I agreed to.
I was very suspicious by this time. As you can guess, nothing arrived and
she has not replied to any E mails since then. and I have never gotten
my part of the deal. Thanks for all your help and if you need anything more
then please dont hesitate to contact me. I will, in the meantime continue
to mail the thief and see if I can get a reaction by threatening legal action.
Regards. Steve Blencoe

Complaint filed by: RBENNETT@lmi.org (BENNETT, Rosemary)
The reason I am writing is because of a message I read on the trader list
from Mary Currie. I don't know if you remember or not but I had trouble with
Ginger Carson and Dan Thibodeau (her boyfriend) about 2 years ago and the
gist of my problem is in my message to Mary below. The only thing I have
left electronically is an e-mail message that I can no longer open because
my software had changed. I will send it to you just in case you are able
to open it and read it, but it is from the boyfriend, Dan, and it is vulgar
and vile. At that time I was told by you that nothing could be done since
it was a "he said, she said" issue but I think at this time it is pertinent
for you to recall this incident since it may help show a pattern for these
2. There is no question that people that would steal a Maple beanie that
I paid $110 for (at that time that was the going rate) and send a pugsley
are capable of anything. Best regards, Rosemary

Cautionlist emailed Ginger about Steves complaint and never heard from her
about that either. Rosemary (above) did email me about her problems with
Ginger some years ago. Since there was no proof at all she was told that
there was nothing that could be done about it. Since there have now been
these other complaints about Ginger and she has not replied to emails about
the complaints I have had Rosemany put in her complaint also.
