On February 27, 2001, I agreed to a trade with
Hanna Rectenwal -
2642 Gannon  Road
Howell, Michigan 48843.

I mailed my part of the deal (beanies - Fuzz, Huggy, Cashew, Periwinkle and buddies Wallace and Clubby 3) that evening. Hanna was to send me Seamore and Doodle beanies. The next day I sent her an email saying I had mailed her package the night before. She sent me a return email saying her husband had spilled coffee on Seamore while she was wrapping the beanies. Because I had already mailed mine I said I would accept Doodle, Spot and Speedy beanies.

On March 1, Hanna sent me an email saying she had made a deal for a Seamore and after several more emails I agreed to send her Smooch, USA, Speckles, 1999 & 2000 Signature beanies when she had Seamore in-hand.

On March 8, she emailed me saying she had been working 16 hour days and had not made it to the post office yet and did I want her to mail now or wait until Seamore arrived. Because of the high postage rates I said she could wait and mail all beanies together.

I have not heard from her since. I send emails to her asking for a response on March 29, April 2, and on April 4 I asked her to mail her side of the agreement and that I was no longer interested in Seamore. A few days later I put a message on the Collecting Nation trade board asking anyone who had dealt with her to contact me. I had one response from someone who also had a problem with her but finally received his beanies after he threatened to sue her. On April 12 I emailed her telling her to send the beanies or return mine to me or I would put her name on the bad traders list. I sent this message to 2 email addresses that she had used.

On April 17 I left negative feedback for her on CN and posted her on Caution List. She had feedback posted on ebay this same day. Now I don't know what else to do. I am in Canada and I would like to either get the beanies owed to me or get the ones I sent back. If the package I sent had not reached her it would have been returned to me as per the customs slip. I have copies of all emails as well as my customer copy of the customs slip I filled out. Any help you can provide would be much  appreciated.    Vivian Payment

I was told to contact you over a bad trade I had made with ---hannakay !!!I  sent her a BRITANIA BUDDY+NIPPONIA BEANIE!!!Her end of trade was  LIBERTY,LEFTY,RIGHTY OLDER BEANIES+ ROYAL PEANUT !!!I SENT MY TRADE  XPRESSPOST I SENT 01-03-02----I SAVED ALL E-MAILS!!!LAST REPLY WAS FROM  HUSBAND TOM____IT SAID SHE WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT AND HE WOULD MAIL  SHORTLY!!!!!I HAVE OF THIS DATE RECEIVED NOTHING!!!I HAVE A PHONE # FOR HER IT IS:  1-517-548-1626 I ALREADY GAVE HER A  PERIOD OF TIME TO RESPOND AND GAVE HER MY DAUGHTERS PHONE #!!!I WILL NOW BE  PRESSING CHARGES AS SOON AS I CAN CONTACT POLICE ANDGET SOME  INFO!!!THANKS!!!JANET LEWIS

I won an auction on Bidville.com that Hanna had. I sent her a money order, she sent the bears. In an email to me she stated that she also had a Garcia and ask me if I would like to purchase it. I was so happy with the Peace bears that I immediately said yes and sent her a money order for Garcia. That was on April 13th, 2001...Gues what? She doesn't answer emails and I have not received Garcia. Be careful! She goes by other names and emails as well. Someone posted it on the Yahoo beanie swap club but I don't recall the other aliases she is using. I'll check and add them here. Please be careful, she has ripped off other people too!
