Jennifer Strickland - Ringer Road Hogansville, Georgia 30230. back on Feb 23, I sent a note to the caution board. We made an original deal to trade mint Bessie for mint Furby & to mail on FEB. 12th. I mailed as promised. Did not hear anything positive until the following Thursday, that she received my Bessie, I kept advising no Furby (I still to this date have no Furby) Jennifer made up some excuses why her mom had not mailed Furby on the date we agreed, but advised she would ship UPS. Few days later, still nothing. She told me three different dates she mailed. When I finally called her post ofc after she had said she had gone to put a tracer on the pkg., then she sent the following note--she did not mail the pkg til FEB. 20th! Her mom then made me the following agreement. To date, I have not heard from her, I still have no Furby or my Bessie back. Do I have a legitimate complaint? I can send more copies if needed. Thanks for this service. I did get a note from someone looking to trade with Jennifer. I advised her of situation and she decided not to trade. This is emial that I got from Jennifer's Mom:  Carole:Hi.......sorry I couldn't get back w/ u yesterday. But...the lady at my P.O. told me U called & that she had explained how everything worked to u. They filled out a form (1014) I "think" they called it and said that they would check in "unclaimed" parcels but that it had to be 30 days before a trace could be done. she said that she explained that to you.did she? The package was not at my p.o. either. they said that they would call me as soon as they found out something from that claim (the only one they could file at this point.) It looks like this could end up taking some time. I know that Jennifer doesn't want to do this because she likes that Bessie and is (at the moment) out a "FURBY" but I really think I need to just go on &mail your Bessie back tomorrow. I realize that you would not be going to the trouble to call my p.o. & going to yours and checking on this if you were trying to "scam" me. It's just a bad situation and at this point I just have to "do the right thing" and if I'm out a furby then that's life i guess. Would you please give me your word that if it does show up that you will let me know and send it back (c.o.d. if you dont wanna pay the postage) This has just gone on too long and quite frankly a $30.00 (what I paid) FURBY is not worth the head-ache this has been for me.please accept my sincerest apology for the "way things turned out" and please know that what bothers me most about this is that our "children" were both so disappointed. I will mail priority insured for $75.00. Or would you rather i mailed "certified". plmk asap. I'm really just tired of all the "bickering" it looks like this could go on another 2 or 3 weeks or more and I just don't want the "hassle" of all this for another month. I'm sure you would agree ? Please let me know if this is acceptable to you because I want to make sure we are both in agreement on this. PS/ Just got your message from today. Is the postal system just a bunch of nuts or what? The lady at the P.O. I talked to Saturday was named Cheryl......if that helps......I know cause I looked at her name tag. You can call Atlanta;Ga if you'd like. that is up to you. I just hate to see you keep "throwing" money away on all these long distance phone calls when it would seem to me that we are "both" getting no-where. You know where I stand.......The ball is in your court now..........If you have a better plan i'll be glad to listen.

Update from: Cholloway@ameritech.com

Nothing has been resolved, I still have not received Furby or my Bessie back as her mom promised. I called her mom last Sunday, left my name & number no return call. I called her post office last Tuesday to question the Mail Loss/Rifiling Report form. She claims by filling out the form she did that she did not even insure the package. Yes, by all means, I think it is time for her name to be posted, especially since you have received another complaint. I also called her home on Tuesday, and asked to have her mom call me, still no return call or return email. My son and I are so upset. I've been leary trading on the net, have done a few and no other problems. One day the week before last Jennifer emailed me to ask if I received Furby yet, claims another trade she made had just received her package and they were mailed on the same day.

i have some counterfeit beanies that i have been trading for buddies. (of course, i let the people know they are counterfeit) jennifer and i were about to confirm, but i didn't get an e-mail in reply to confirm the trade. i e-mailed her again after a week and she said she just didn't feel like trading in case she didn't like them. so, i offered to send first and if she didn't like them, to just send them back. (she gave me refs) when she got them in february, she said she didn't like them.. and besides, she had already traded off one of the buddies that i had wanted to trade for. she keeps claiming to have already sent them back but sadly, i don't think i'll be getting them back. supposedly, priority mail has been taking two weeks to a month to arrive at destinations..? i dunno. I've had a bad experience with Jennifer Strickland <jennifer3@mindspring.com> We agreed to a trade and I never received anything from her. She acknowledged receiving the beanies I sent. She claims the Beanie Buddy she sent me was lost in the mail. She agreed to replace it and send a second Buddy. He also never arrived. She say's it's not her fault that the Mail is not delivering. Once maybe but twice?
