On Jan. 4th I sent a package of six USA Pooh danglers and a Prisoner of Love beanie to a Jaclyn Yap in Singapore. She was supposed to send me the five lucky cat pooh danglers and one Hebi Pooh. To date I have received nothing. I wouldn't have been concerned because I know how awful Asian mail service is, but I have completed two trades with to different people in Singapore to and from since my trade with Jaclyn so I posted on thebigbean talk board and trade board to see if anyone else was having difficulty getting their trades completed with Jaclyn. Lo and behold I had eight replies! Every single one of them had either sent goods or money and either received nothing at all or only part of the promised trade; one sent 15 beanies in Oct. and never received a thing back; one sent money in Dec. and never received anything and the rest of us sent goods or money in Jan. and have received either nothing or just a partial trade. Again, what makes me suspect is that she told a friend back in Oct. she just couldn't get herself together because her sister died in that Singapore air crash. Pat, my friend gave me the website of the deceased from that tragedy and there is no one with the surnam Yap on it. My friend also discovered on the Singapore auction site a Prisoner of Love Pooh up for auction that Jaclyn has (exactly what I sent her). Now, she is claiming she never received my package. Thank God I sent it airmail registered and two weeks ago I filled out the paperwork at my post office to track it. The cogs of government work very slowly (except or the IRS) and I have heard nothing from the postal service yet. She was supposed to fill out paperwork on her end two weeks ago also to track her package but she didn't. I have written a note forwarding it to everyone on my list telling them I have appealed to ElfTrudy to intercede on our behalfs so they are all aware I have given their email addys to you. I would appreciate any insight or help you can give us as we are all very frustrated and don't know what to think or believe as she always seems to be "out of the country," allegedly in China until Feb. 28th this time. But she is responding to her emails as I received two from her in a 48-hour period saying she just "dun know" what's wrong with her post office and she'll check when she gets back to Singapore. Early in Dec. I read a post that had lots of Japan/singapore pooh beanies I was interested in. I sent email to ask prices for the ones I was interested in and to include shipping to the US. I agreed on a set of 5 expression poohs for 40.00 to include shipping--some of the others were a bit higher per beanie and I was inquiring to trade for them at the same time with my singapore trader. I asked if she would take money order. the answer was she would take cash, money order would up the cost 10.00 for her bank to cash it or a pay on demand from bank. I checked for the 3rd option--this was like wiring money and had a flat charge of l5.00. I bought a christmas card, cash inside card and sent in a Global Priority flat envelope--which included a customs slip reading business papers--this cost is 5.00. Just prior to xmas I got an email saying the money was received and Jaclyn thought it best to wait till after 1st of the year to avoid the heavy mail for the holidays. I agreed to this. Sometimes my other trader and I use ground mail. This takes longer and I thought to myself---that is how she sent my package because 40. for 5 beanies to include shipping was awful cheap. (I did another similar trade with someone from singapore about 2nd week of Jan. I sent cash using global priority envelope--takes about 10 days for this envelope to reach them. He said received money shipped beanies. These showed up about 2 weeks later. Sent email to Jaclyn and asked and she said yes indeed she mailed them out. Still no beanies. My aol mail must automatically delete after 30 days or I made an error---I lost her address. I watched for her to post on the boards---but never recognized any addresses to link with her---until I saw Cheryl post if anyone else had traded with Jaclyn.

As of today, they have never reached their destination. Did you send air mail. Any help you can be in this matter would be greatly appreciated.Thank you and hope to hear from you soon, Benita

cuz I didnt hear from u. I'm now in CHina for a business trip. And will only
be back on 28th Feb. Can I check with the local post office

Hi, I am trying to get Jaclyn to repy to me as I mailed her a trade on
the 9th of January and she has responed to tell me my portion of the trade
has arrived, but as of today 2/26 her portion has not and I cannot get her
to answer my email. Thank you for any help you might give.

This is to inform other traders that the trade I made with Jaclyn Yap
is now complete. She posted by sea mail instead of air and instead of mailing
on the 9th of Jan. as agreed she mailed on the 22nd.

Trade items finally arrived at my home this past Sat. I could not read
the postmark on the envelope, but I did see despite your insistence you had
sent it airmail, it is clearly marked on the envelope "sea mail." In case
you're not aware, there is clearly a difference between air and sea mail.I
am sending a copy of this letter to www.tradelist.com so she can update your
page as not so much a bad trader, just stupid.Cheryl Gardner

I did a trade on KNK in May. I sent her my reversed ear white america
and she was to send me Bunga Raya. She received my beanie but I never got
hers. First she told me she had to trace it and then that the address she
had written was unreadable so it was returned to her. On June 4th she told
me that she had repackaged the beanie and mailed it that morning. I still
did not get it. The last time I heard from her was on June 10 telling me
to be patient that it would get there. She now ignores my emails. There has
been several people that got taken by this person. I posted a warning on
K&K,that is where it took place since I posted her name add. etc. several
has emailed me that they too have not gotten their end of trade,I would like
some help with the matter if I may.Putting her name etc. on bad traders.Thank

On May 10, we agreed to a trade of her Ferny, Wattlie, and Bunga Raya
for my Liberty trio. Fortunately for me, she agreed to mail first since she
did not have any refs. After a few delays, she emailed me on May 21 that
the beanies were on their way. Beginning about June 17, I emailed her every
few days to find out why the beanies had not arrived, and never heard from
her. She has not communicated with me since May 21, and I have never received
any beanies. At least I am not out any beanies, but my Libertys of course
no longer have the trading power they did on May 10. I guess I will quit
hoping the beanies will arrive any day. Sure was looking forward to having
those three, though

On Saturday April 27 I arranged a trade with Jesselyn Yap (jaz_ling@hotmail.com) ...my MWMT Beanie Babies Pierre, Pops Canada and UK JInglePup for her Wattlie and Bunga Raya. I traded with her on CN and she has been "whatever" for non-payment of fees. We were to mail immediately. I contacted her a number of times during May as I had not received her package. She did not admit having received my parcel until near the end of May and then claimed she would have her parcel tracked to determine where it had gone missing. The last e-mail I received from her was in early June - she apologized for the delay and promised i would receive my Beanies by "hook or by crook". I asked that she immediately return my Beanies OR re-send the original trade items. She did neither and has not answered any recent correspondence.

I have been trying to give her the benefit of the doubt, but it has now
been since the end of April!!! I sent her a Snort with Tabasco in the poem
for 2 Common bears. We went back and forth more than I have ever done for
a trade. She wanted to make sure that the bears that she sent me were exactly
the same value as she said she didn't have alot of money. I am surprised
she would go to so much trouble since she didn't plan on sending her end
of the trade anyway. Initially she said that the reason I didn't get my end
of the trade is because the post office returned it to her as they could
not read the writing. Now she is not returning my emails. She also tried
to sell me a Bunga Raya for $23.00 US, thank goodness I didn't take her up
on it. Luckily I only sent a Snort with Tabasco in the poem. It could

I began my trade with Jesselyn (Jaz) at the beginning of April. We agreed
to trade her Bunga Raya and Sakura 2 for my Unity and England. We agreed
to mail on 4 April which I did. Jazz however emailed to say that she would
not be able to mail until a couple of days later. She then emailed to say
that the shop had not saved her a Sakura 2 as promised so did I want her
to send Bunga followed by Sakura 2 in another couple of weeks, or would I
like to have a Wattlie as a replacement. Because I really wanted a Sakura
2, I stupidly agreed to wait. I wasn't at all bother about waiting at the
time because Jaz emailed me regularly, as she wanted to keep in touch until
the trade was completed. But gradually the email came less frequently, and
I was having to ask where Sakura 2 was. Jazz eventually emailed me to say
that Sakura 2 was on it's way to me. But the next day she emailed again to
say that the tag was creased on it and did I mind. I said that I would have
prefered to have a MWMT as agreed. She said that she could get the parcel
back from the PO and would replace the Sakura with a MWMT Bunga if that was
OK with me. I agreed and she emailed to say that Bunga was on it's way to
me. I didn't get the bear and didn't hear from Jaz for about 2 weeks, though
I continued to email her. She eventually emailed to say that she had been
away to a Christian camp for 8 days and apologised for not keeping in touch.
She couldn't understand why Bunga had not arrived and was going to chase
it up at the PO. Another week passed with no contact from Jazz. I then saw
a post on KnK asking if anyone had traded with Jaz. I emailed Ann who had
posted the message, and she told me that she had not received her Bunga from
Jaz and was trying to find out more about her. I emailed Jaz to ask her about
this and told her that she was going to be posted as a bad trader if she
did not follow through with her deals. She emailed back to say how upset
she was that people thought she was a cheat, and said that her computer had
been packed away as she was moving to the US with her family and she was
picking her emails up from an internet cafe. She couldn't understand why
my Bunga hadn't arrived, and said that Ann was too impatient and had to wait
a bit longer and hers would arrive. She was going to send me another Bunga!!
That was the last I heard from her. Ann emailed me to say that she had heard
from 6 other people who had traded with Jaz but not received anything from
her. This is the reason that I would like to see her on the bad trader list.
At the end of the day I didn't receive a £5 bear which I shan't lose
any sleep over, although I am cross with her. But I don't want anyone else
to get taken by her. Sorry that this is so long but I did correspond with
Jaz over several weeks and almost saw her as a friend. Just goes to show
how wrong you can be!! Regards Tubs

Cautionlist emailed her several times but although email went through she
ignored all email sent to her.
