i too, have been a victim of karin, or whomever she holds her/himself out to be, from port george, british columbia....i sent her 102.77 for eight auctions i won and it was in an international money order and have never heard or seen anything again....it hasnt been a full thirty days on ebay so i cant report her yet....has anyone found out any other nicc names she goes by and if she's selling under another name....she had  outrageous shipping prices she was charging....the only email i rec'd back from her was one giving me her address , of course i cant find the email now, and in it i had coerced her to cut her shipping down to twenty dollars rather than 34.00 to mail eight little beanies from canada.......im steaming and im not going to take this, any help or info you have would be wonderful......she's out there selling still, i just know it..and i dont want to see someone else lose money like that....im on social security from a disability from being dagged by a pickup truck and cant travel alot but i swear i want to make a message she /he needs to understand.......that we are not going to tolerate this....i want to get the rcmp and the deputies involved.....can anyone help......PLEASEEEEEEE

This is a long and very complicated story concerning the Stoll's. You really do not know whom you are dealing with. I have received e-mails from a Karin Stoll, Remo Stoll and a Heinz Stoll. The e-mail address that I posted is the only one that I am aware of, however they had used 4 different user names on Ebay all have been suspended. They are as follows;

Firstly, they sent us an e-mail after I requested confirmation of receipt of our money order, that said it was not received. I further checked at the bank and they had informed me it was redeemed for cash a week earlier. I sent them another e-mail and they said that they did get it and our product would be sent out on the following Tuesday. The second lie they told. After repeated e-mails and telephone calls I received no response. I even attempted to have friends with different user names to contact them with no luck. I contacted Ebay with no results since the purchase was not over 35.00 US funds and they were already suspended. if anyone thinks their money is safe on Ebay they are totally mistaken.

I had been in contact with a number of other buyers from Beanie0474 whom also were having problems, some however had received their product although quite late. I then received an e-mail from another buyer also from Canada and they informed me that he received his beanie but something was quite strange. The package was mailed with a 10 cent metered postage stamp. Accumulating all the auctions done by all 4 user names that the Stoll's had they had collected some 7,000.00 US in shipping fees alone. I have since been in contact with a number of buyers that have finally received their product and they too also received their packages with a 10 cent metered postage stamp. If they had sent all packages out in the mail for 10 cents each their cost would have been less than 1,000.00 US.  I have worked with Canada Post for many years in a consulting roll, so I could not understand how anyone could mail a 9 * 12 bubble pack with a beanie inside for 10 cents. I received a copy of the package from the other buyer and went to Canada Post to investigate what was going on. Firstly, they are using a postage meter registered to the Black Forest Deli, secondly, the 10 cent fee as indicated on the package could not be correct and Canada Post has turned this over to their Corporate Security Division whom are investigating the possibility of mail fraud and postage evasion.

We have finally received our Unity bear that we purchased just the other day after filing charges with the RCMP, however the beanie is ripped and the tag is bent and torn, I am sure they sent this just to be vindictive. By the way we paid 11.95 US shipping from Prince George BC to Edmonton, AB both in Canada and less than 500 miles. Our package too arrived with a 10 cent stamp. It also was turned over to the Postal authorities. So what we received was a useless Unity Bear, a 10 cent stamp for 26.00 US and no correspondence and what correspondence they did send was rude and obnoxious, not real nice.  Hope all this helps and if there is any further information required please contact me at your convenience.  Kathy

I was given your addy ,so that maybe you can help me also.I won a bid on Ebay for a Germania beanie on Aug.29,01 and send the money order on Sept.6,and I filed a complaint with Ebay ,after that she was no longer register as a user.I have copies of all the emails that she sent.She sent a email on Sept.17 saying the beanie had been shipped ,but still haven't gotten the beanie.I'm not out as much money as some others ,but that's not the point.So if you want to add me to the list you can, and if you need more info let me know and I'll give what I got. I, too, have been scammed by this person. I have been using ebay for years and this is the first time I have been wronged. I should have known something was wrong when she said she would not combine the shipping for 2 beanie babies I won. I am not out as much as the others, $23 US total for 2 beanies w/shipping. This really ticks me off because I am generally a trusting person. I sent the Money Order to Canada on Aug 31, 2001 and I have yet to here from her. I have sent numerous emails and I contacted ebay and Andale (that is where you "claim" your winnings) to no avail. I just feel so stupid. I just found this trader site and I will use it from now on. I almost bid on something from someone that a friend told me was on here. I hope my little bit of information helps.

I'll keep the package in case anyone is filing postal fraud on them. This is pathetic to scam people who are trying to collect beanies for their children and friends.

Comments: This person is operating under the name of Rexbest on Ebay. He has previously been suspended by Ebay 3 times. However, they keep coming back under different user names. His group operates out of Prince George British Columbia Canada and has operated under the user names of Tag35, Beanie0432 and Beanie666. There are many people whom have been ripped off by these traders. Please beware.

Just to update you on the Stolls. I posted an incorrect email address for these people in the earlier warning. The one posted here is correct. These people again have been suspended from Ebay under the user name of Rexbest. Thanks to a fellow Canadian (Ric) whom has spent hours tracking these scammers. They have previously been suspended 5 times. Their previous user names id's were tag35, beanie0474, beanie666ca, beanie65ca, & klsc577 that I know of. These people operate out of Prince George British Columbia Canada and are registered on Ebay Germany. It is quite hard to track them. Beware of any group operating out of this town selling German and European Exclusives.

On Feb. 5/02 I won item # 1699830269-Freiherr Von Schwarz and on Feb 7/02 I won 2 more item #s 1699833105 and 1699833343 --the total was US$103.96 presells. Everything went fine and on Feb 28th I e-mailed him requesting shipping information and received a reply telling me that they were going to ship the following week. After this email I never heard anything more from him(with one exception which I will explain later). On March 4th I discovered that he had become a Not A Registered User (NARU'D) by E-Bay. At this time I emailed him requesting information and I received no replies. It was about this time that I discovered your board was for purchases also, when I checked it I discovered that he was on it, with 5 previous user ids. According to your board he is located in Prince George BC, with the e-mail of rexbest32@hotmail.com which of course goes with his user id of rexbest. However the e-mail that I had for him was remostoll@yahoo.com . When I keyed the e-mail address that I had at E-bay I got a different seller id rex12 (Remo's World-with 262 positives and not suspended). Also when I requested information from E-bay and got the following name and address for user id rexbest--Andre Schmidt, Kersting Str 33, Hannover, Germany 30159. According to your site this is different. I looked at www.canada411.ca for his phone number with the address that you have on your site and got the phone number 250-964-0885, when I called this number I got an answering machine saying that it was Mark and Kristin's place. I then called the phone company with the Prince George address and phone number that I found to confirm this information, they confirmed that this phone number belongs to Remo Stoll. The only difference is the address you have is on Haldi Road and they said there is no Haldi road it is Haldi Lake Road. I also found a home address for Heinz Stoll--948 Potter Rd, Invermere, BC Phone number 250-342-6365. Ebay started an investigation on March 11 and basically their response was he has been suspended and they could not do anything about it. PayPal is investigating to try to get my money back. On March 14th, after I sent him an e-mail stating that I could file fraud charges on him, I received an e-mail from him saying that he had been in Germany and was going to mail the beanies out shortly. Since then he does not answer his e-mail again.

This is a SCAM seller operating out of Prince George, B.C. Canada and has a partner named Andre Schmidt in Germany. Ripped me off for $1500.00 and more, sent payment via PayPal. Promised me 2 shipments on 03/09/02... Never heard from him again. Never received any merchandise either. He has scammed many innocent good faith buyers. He is being investigated by Constable Andrew Cowan of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police Fraud Section who is compiling fraud case against him in conjunction with the FBI and Interpol. He has been suspended from eBay and I know of at least one of his PayPal accounts being suspended. I am diligently working to recover my funds. PayPal has not been able to guarantee recovery. My credit card company is pursuing the matter and so is my banking institution. Stay away from this seller. He is angry with all my diligent efforts and his wife Karin Stoll has tried to slander and defamate my character to one of my dealers. She is using name-calling tactics and spreading lies about my transactions with her husband. They will not respond to my numerous e-mails and have not refunded any monies. They are using getnmine4less@yahoo.com and probably trying to sell on other auctions like Amazon.com Please do not transact with these people: Remo or Karin Stoll....

I purchased a Scotland Beanie Baby from this man on Ebay.He was very friendly at first & a MO was sent.After cashing it, I did not receive the item.Several emails went out w/ no response.After a threat of fraud,he replied saying it was shipped.Never received,sent email, no reply,sent reg.letter that was returned unopened.Contacted Canadian Mounted ploice for report.Sent email about making the report to his country, he sent Mum.Phone # was a fake sent another letter asking for the correct item but he did not respond. Has now been 7 months w/ no Scotland

He used Buy It Now on one of my auctions on January 11 and responded back 2 days later that he'd send cash (he's in Canada and I'm in the U.S.). The envelope arrived yesterday (Jan. 23). On the outside of the envelope he had written "MC Beanie, eBay" and then the dollar amount. Have you figured out the rest of the story yet? Yup, the envelope had been slit down the side and retaped with yellowing cellophane tape. Inside was a blank piece of paper and a yellow sticky note with his address.

I showed it to the Postmaster, who said the US Postal Service has not used tape like that in years. I e-mailed Mr. Stoll yesterday afternoon, upon receipt of the envelope, to inform him of the empty envelope, and have not yet heard back from him. I e-mailed 2 of the other people whose auctions he won the same day as mine, and heard back from one seller. She has not received payment, and has not heard back from him since his initial contact on Jan. 14 (3 days after the auction ended). She has already filed a non-paying bidder alert with eBay (which I have just done as well), and will let me know if she ever receives payment (or an empty envelope) from him.

I have also done some further research on this "buyer." He has recently (in the past couple of weeks) sold nearly 100 items, yet he has only 1 feedback. His first few items sold were MC II Anniversary Beanies (what he bought from the other seller), and the rest have been Pokemon cards (which he bought from the 3rd seller), and ALL of those auctions are "private." I think we'll very soon see some serious negative feedback on this guy, as his auctions are ending for upwards of $80.

I'm not really asking you to do anything at this time, but wanted to make you aware of him, as I believe he's going to be serious trouble. If you'd like his complete address or any other information I can provide, please let me know.
