I am having real trouble with another trader. Her details are:
Kathy Servin
10th Avenue So.,
Bloomington, MN 55420
The above person first contacted me on 21st August to say she wanted to trade her Britannia beanie for a Lips and a Flitter. I sent Lips and Flitter to her via Swiftair on 23rd August and I have a receipt for it. She wrote on the same day to say her husband posted Britannia to me too. She never e-mailed me(as arranged) to let me know my parcel had arrived (which usually takes 5 days via Swiftair), so I e-mailed her on 3rd September to ask her. I got no reply, so next day I asked her to track the parcel she sent to me and confirm that she did actually send on the 23rd. She replied on 4th to say she had a receipt for the parcel and would check at the post office the next day. After several e-mails, she replied on 10th September to say she had enquired at the post office and they were going to trace it. More e-mails ensued, and again I asked her on 17th September if she had a receipt. I asked her for the receipt number again on 28th September so that I could trace it from this end, but didn't get a reply. On 30th September I said if she didn't have a receipt, the post office would not be able to trace, and maybe she should return my Lips and Flitter. She replied: "marion, i dont know what you want me to do i sent the beanie and that was are deal im not responsable for the post office, now im trying to locate it and if that isnt enough sorry, no im not going to return the beanies a trade a trade its not like i didnt send it. im an honest person. you can put poor feedback if you like i really dont care. i had two trade that i sent beanies and they say they never got them but thats just the way it go's i knew the risk when you trade and you have to think your dealing with honest people. now im going to wait to see what the post office says."
I think I had been quite patient with her, but I got a little fed up with it yesterday and think she is scamming, so I wrote her the following: "I think I have been more than patient. Now, if you have a receipt for the parcel you sent me, please send me the number immediately and I will trace it from this end. If you don't have a receipt, then I am afraid you will have to return Lips and Flitter. It is no good you saying you are not responsible for the post office. It is up to you to ensure that I get my part of the trade. You just can't opt out. Anyone can say they have sent something, when in fact they have posted nothing at all, and can blame the post office. If you sent, give me the receipt number so that I can trace it. If not, you will have to return my goods. So, you have three options.
1) Give me a receipt number for me to trace the parcel from this end.
2) Return my Lips and Flitter.
3) Prepare for a visit from your local police, and be blacklisted on all the beanie sites.
It's up to you. Lips and Flitter are no longer a "hot item". That's not the point now. There is a principle at stake. I don't like being scammed. If you are not scamming me, let me have a receipt number. Marian.
I will go to the police about her if she fails to return my goods. Marian Barker, England.

since you want to get into this, i sent a britannia in july, late july, i sent it the way she told me to write toy and gift on the box put through custom say it was a gift for under 20.00 sent the package. she email me and said she never got the package so are you saying im responseable for the deliver of that pack and that i should return my beanie ever though i kept my end of the trade and lord know were it is . she asked for no insurance nothing. i have a receipt. and the email that she sent was a threaten email. i will send a copy to you. so you do what ever you have to but i must say i will do the same and if i have to i will get a lawyer. dont ever say to me i did internet freud and mail freud cause i will you wrong and i will fight it. and if i even see my name on a bad trader list you will hear from me. now you can read my feedback on ebay and anyplace else and you will see that im a good trader.oh by the way im not responsable for the post office !!!!!!! i have not receive 2 trade with two different people in the last month and ahalf. i sent the trade and they say they didnt get it and i had to take the lost because they said they didnt get it and there good traders so does that mean i should go after them you know sometimes people are honest you know, but then you wouldnt know. do you have prof that she didnt get the beanie or is  it just her word. i have a receipt from the post office showing how much i paid to mail it. yes i didnt insure it and i dont on any of mine and there isnt to many people who doi have been doing this for along time and i have many of deal and no one has insured there packages including her. and yes i sent it by air!!!!!! so what your telling me is that i could do trades all day long and write to you and say ididnt get them and you would go after them all day long you would be pretty busy. there has to be a line of trust somewhere i know i sent it and to me that what counts i will talking with the fraud depart. by the way my feedback should say something for my trade reputation. do what you have to but i will also do it !!!!

Update from: CYRIL8342@aol.com

Sorry, just thought of two more things.I did actually send Lips and Flitter by Swiftair. I know she has received them because she told me she is not returning them in an e-mail dated 30th September!!As I think you know, I have asked her to produce a receipt a couple of times, but she said last time I asked that I should send a stamped addressed envelope. My husband said perhaps I shouldn't - I would probably get a nasty letter or something worse in the envelope! If she lets me have the receipt, or a photocopy of it, and describes the package she supposedly sent Britannia in, I could trace it from this end. I told her this in an e-mail dated 28th September. But it sounds as if she doesn't even know which day she posted it, so it may be difficult from that aspect. I could have a go at tracing if I had this information, but, really, has she posted at all??? Why is she so reluctant to produce the receipt, or at least a copy of it?Marian.

by the way let me tell you if she is such an honest trader them how is it that she dehonest to the custom anytime you deal with people over sea your packages has to go out like its a gift and toy and it under 20.00 when it really is over a 100.00 oh that right so she doesnt have to pay custom and i suppose that the right  way she doing it isnt it. maybe i will check to see if that legal. i sent a 100.00 and something beanie for 14.99 together for her and im suppose to insure it for what 20.00 dollor and if it get lost im out what more then the insurance and send another one the  someway i dont think so. by the way how is it she having so much loses on trade not just mine. i think the customs and the authority on your side should start to look in to this cause i going to contact them to see if that legal.

Cautionlist as you can tell got many different stories from her from what she had said to marian and what she had emailed to her and to me. She told Marian she had receipt. Then never would send her info on it. Then she told me she did not insure. She says she has proof but never sends it. Also states that 2 others lately have not gotten packages that she sent to them. Seems like this would let her pay the extra $.85 it costs to insure the package if she is indeed sending them.
