I made a trade with Kelly Tamte, 1123 4th Ave, Rochester MN 55901, on Feb 16, 2000. I have checked my confirmation number #03102990000541121839. It tells me my package was delivered to her on the 19th of Feb. I traded her a MWMT Osito and Groovy buddy for her MWMT Radar. I have never heard another word from her. I have emailed her about 5 or 6 times and have told her I plan on persuing this matter. Obviously she thinks by ignoring my emails it will go away. Can you give me some advise or help? I have heard from another trader JUST WHO AM I REALLY who has been scammed by her also, she was suppose to the the buddies Kelly scammed from me. I saw where she (MAMAKAT75@aol.com) last had a post on aol trading board on the 21st. Please let me know. Thanks, Jenn

I understand that you are trying to mediate some type of outcome for those of us who have been scammed by this person. 2 weeks ago I mailed her all 6 of the new TyBabies at a cost of $65 plus $5 shipping. In trade she agreed to send me an Osito Buddy, Groovy Buddy and Valentino buddy. She has received my buddies but states that she mailed mine and another persons the day we did but they seem to have gotten "lost". Interestingly enough what this lady sent to her is what I was supposed to receive. She no longer replies to email and I am amazed at the number of persons who I have heard from who have been scammed by her. I would be glad to assist in this matter any way that I can.Thanks! it is interesting that you are both never on line at the same time-could you be the same person?i have been notified by my local department that the e mails you are sending are bs!!!!for any of that to be valid and legal it would need to be received by postal mail not e mail so whoever you are you should know the laws before you make threats

I also traded with her and she recieved my half of our trade on 2/17/00.I have not heard from her nor have I recieved my half of the trade. She is ignoring all my E-mails now. I have found another who was also scammed by Kelly from Rochester MN. Beware

Well, we had confirmed a trade: I traded 3 Buddies (including Halo, Snoboy and Peace) and 5 beanie bears (including Clubby 1, 98 Teddy, 99 Teddy, Princess and The End.) She was supposed to send me an unopened Color Gameboy with two unopened games. She received my packages and she never sent her end of the trade. Emailed her several times, she claims that she did send them, but, I have yet to get them and the trade was over 2 months ago. So, that's why I left bad feedback on her at ebay. I read her feedback before the trade and she didn't have any bad feedback then, but, after the trade I went back and read about her other bad transactions. I wish that those people had left feedback sooner. Well, hope this helps ya.

I made a deal with Kelly several months ago to trade several of my beanies for her MWMT Maple beanie. When I got my Maple, I thought it was a fake for several reasons, mainly because of the lack of a Canadian tush tag and the blurry font in the heart tag and some other minor differences. I did a lot of research and took the beanie to experts and found out that this was indeed a fake beanie. I asked Kelly for $150 compensation because that was the value of the beanies I sent her and she claimed that she no longer had the beanies. She at first agreed to pay, and then she no longer answered my e-mail for several weeks after repeated attempts and I have no way of contacting her. She has scammed me and I am not sure what to do about it, and it may be too late to do anything. If people could learn about this it would help them to avoid falling into the same trap. Than Lauren

Greetings! A couple days before thanksgiving we agreed to trade our Spangle Beanie Buddy and our Blue face Spangle Beanie for her 98 Teddy and The End Beanies. We were supposed to ship I believe the wednesday before thanksgiving. Well we never received our package and through talks with her we found little lies like not sending the package when she said and then she gave us the confirmation # to find that whatever she sent whoever was delivered to N.Y. and not CT. and the date that it was shipped was cosiderably later than what she was suppose to send it on. We started asking her about this and she tried to turn it around on us while avoiding our questions and eventually not answering our e-mails anymore. We saved alot of our emails between us just in case. Let us know what happens. We hope this helps. Thanks for your time, Phil & Cori

Thanks so much for your help, in getting MAMAKAT75 to reimberse me for the buddies she scammed from me. I recieved a money order this week and was so thankful for your help. We need more caring people like you. It's sad that there are people out in our society that make a living ripping people off like this. I am glad this is one that didn't get away with it. My end of the trade was sent 8th December 1999. Kelly acknowledged receipt of my end of the trade and told me that she had sent hers, needless to say that it never arrived! I have sent repeated emails to her about my package and although she said finally in April that she had other beanies that she could send she never did and now does not read any of my emails.  To be honest I do not know what else I can do! As I am in the UK I cannot file a fraud claim at the US Post Office and I feel helpless to do something about it! I have had many many wonderful trades with people in the US and it is such a shame that one bad apple spoils things for the rest of us. Hope to hear from you when you have time! Best Wishes  Mave
