I never thought I would have this problem with Kong but I am. I have forwarded a recent email message I received from him. The problem started when he was involved in a car accident and had his nephew Kimmie, take care of 4 packages he had to ship out. In an honest mistake, Kimmie sent my box to a UK buyer and theirs to me. I was supposed to have received 37 buddies (6 full sets of AP buddies and 1 extra Bunga Raya to make up for 2 that had creased tags in the last shipment). Instead I received 3 full sets and 6 extra Bunga Rayas. I contacted him via phone (left message) and email regarding the error and received a message back that this would be corrected immediately. I received another message several days later saying the UK buyer was still debating on whether to purchase the extra buddies. What I didn't and still do not understand is how can something that is already sold and paid for be sold to someone else? I had suggested that they purchase the buddies from me however as you can see from Kong's response to me, that idea was not an option apparently. Anyway... during this beginning time of the error, I was getting messages regularly on the status. As you can see by the message below, I was told if he could not get 3 more sets of buddies by Tuesday, Dec 10th, he would be refunding me the money I paid by wire transfer for those 3 sets. I told him this was agreeable however I could not wait any longer than that as it is Christmas and I had planned to sell these sets for Christmas money. (At the time, I could have made a profit, I cannot anymore). Well it is now a full week later and I have not heard from him since Sunday the 8th when he acknowledged that he received the wire information and would send on Tuesday and email once done because the ships were apparently late in coming from Singapore so the buddies would not be there that week. This has not happened. I have no refund and no buddies. I have called him numberous time and sent several emails but have gotten nothing in response.  In one of my last message I told him that him shipping the remaining buddies is no longer an option because they have dropped so much in price that I could buy them cheaper from Meta and I don't feel it fair that I should be penalized all that money because of mistakes/delays that have been made on his end. I understand nothing could have been done about the car accident but even since the wrong shipment was received, it has already been 3 weeks with no resolution.
So, can you help? I don't want to think he is being dishonest because he has never been that way with me and I would hope he remembers how it was on the other side when he was dealing with Frank. This lack of communication is making me suspicious though and I can't wait any long for my money to be refunded. I have gifts to buy that can't be bought until I receive this money. I did tell him in my last voicemail message that if the money was not in my account by the time my bank closed today, I would be contacting you. I would have thought that would have prompted a response of some sort but still nothing.

I received your message and I understand the situation. I did not sell the buddies to the UK buyer. For them to pay for it, will be resolving the problem. The buyer has send me an email that he will be paying for the buddies to save them the problem of re-shipment. It is also difficult for them to resolve the situation by dealing with you direct.On my part, I am going to send you the three buddies set minus the bunga rayas. You will get to keep the two extra Bunga Rayas as a bonus. I am also packing some stuff for Xmas for the trouble your mom took to help us in this.I receive a call yesterday from the International Airport and had to clear the 4 boxes that you have sent me, myself. I had to pay another usd180.00 due to tax and there was a problem as there was no commercial invoice attached.It took me four hours to get to the boxes. Please send me your bank account number # . Should I find I cannot resolve the situation, I will be sending you the money for 15 buddies at usd 18.33 = usd274.95 on this coming Tuesday. I cannot get my buyer to pay you direct as he will only be re-imbursing me at the end of the month (which is too late for you).I am in your shoes and I understand. As for me, I am a little upset on the late deliveries from Ty to the shops. I am hoping that the buddies can be pick up soon. Let me know. I am busy repacking the tag protectors and I appreciate you and your mom's help on closing the tag protectors. I hope that you will not be too upset over this. Whatever it is, you will not be holding the shorter end of the stick.

He was to refund me $18.33 per buddy that I was shorted. He owed me the 1 Bunga Raya and he said I could keep the other 2 free for the inconvenience. He was to wire me $275 for the 15 buddies (3 of everything but Bunga Raya) on 12/10 unless he was able to get the rest of the buddies by then from the retailers in Malaysia. However, from what he had been told, the shipments were delayed and he did not believe he was going to be able to get them by then. He asked me to get my bank account information for him so that the wire could be put through. The last email I received was a confirmation from him of receiving the wiring information. I had suggested that the UK buyer that got the extra 3 sets buy them from me instead of from him however he said that was not possible. He also said they weren't paying til the end of december for them. Erica

I still have not heard a word from Kong. From what he indicated in previous emails, he should be receiving payment for the 3 sets that I had paid for already, within the next few days. If his excuse is that he doesn't have the money to send, he will no longer have that excuse to use. After all his problems with Frank, I simply cannot believe that he is doing this to me. It continues to baffle me. I'm hoping you have more luck getting through to him. Thanks!    Erica

Cautionlist emailed him many many times trying to find out what the problem was as he has such excellent feedback and reputation before this incident. Never did get a reply at all from him although all emails went through.
