I responded to a post by MRSTRUMAN on the AOL board (also uses Lsn2beanie, Luvmybean and PHUTCHINC) for beanies she had for sale. After several e-mails back and forth I agreed to purchase 4 beanies from her and sent her a postal money order for $123. She said she received the money order and that beanies were mailed. After about a week I contacted her and she said that they must be lost, but she can't find the receipt to track them and would contact the post office. I asked her to verify the address she had sent them to and never heard from her again. She now does not respond to e-mails from me.  Additionally I have heard from 10 other AOL members that they have had the same experience, in fact in some cases even "purchased" the same beanies!! I also heard from 8 more AOL members that were planning to send her money to purchase beanies, some had even already purchased the money orders, just hadn't mailed them yet. This is not a one time fluke bad trader, this is a major scam artist and everyone should beware!

I want to report a bad trader named MRSTRUMAN she is trying to take people for there money by selling Beanies she dose not even have. She is a liar an she cost me 10.95 for the cost of EXPRESS MAIL I had my MNEY ORDER returned ( THANK GOD ) because the postal office sent it back for none delivery as there was no one named Laura Truman known at the address I sent it to SIGN for it.   I was LUCKY, but as soon as this happen I posted it to the CLASSIFIEDS so others would beware.

I sent her a MO for $200.00. she said she mailed the beanies after i became worried b/c I didn't receive them. She gave me a fake postal tracking # and a fake telephone number.  Ms Truman is no longer an aol member. Have been in contact with many others who have been scammed by her/him. I reported this name to the fraud department at the postal service.

I have been scammed by MRSTRUMAN. I sent her payment in good faith for two beanies on 7/3/98. I haven't received them. I have copies of all emails saying they were shipped, that she put a tracer on them and that she was returning my money, etc. A bunch of lies. I've been in contact the last few days with many others than have also been scammed by her.

I was scammed by Laura Truman, email address is MRSTRUMAN@aol.com.  I sent her a Money Order through the post office for $150.00 about two to three days later she said she mailed the beanies out but they never arrived. She said that she would track the beanie babie package since she believed that they were lost in the mail and she said she insured them. I tried to contact her several other times, but she never responded. Finally I got one response stating that if we didn't receive the package this week, she'd mail a refund. I tried to reply to her and let her know this would be fine, and she is no longer a user of aol. Others have done the same to try and email her, and she is stated that this individual is no longer an aol user.  Anyway. I mailed $150 on July 3 1998 and last heard from her on july 18. I mailed the money to Laura Truman S. Harbor Blvd, La Habra, CA 90631

I believe that she may be using the following aol aliases: Lsn2beanie, Luvmybean, Phutchinc

She's using 5 e-mails but has deleted several of them already. They are
