I need your assistance. I sold Boyd Bears to Leslie and she sent me a bad check. I have heard all of her excuses now for about 6 weeks so I do not think she intends to make good on the check. Your help is needed.

She owes me $39.40 plus $25 bank charges for Boyds bears she purchased
in early November (the check is dated Nov 8)
January 8, 2001
Cautionlist was faxed the bad checks as proof. Leslie ignored all email sent
to her about this problem although she read the emails sent to her.

UPDATE ON LESLIE WILLIAMS: As previously posted here Leslie Williams gave
me a bad check and will not make good on it. Trudy has placed her name on
the bad traders list. The check was in the amount of $39.40. If you say "oh
well that's too small to fool with" WRONG. I contacted the Royal Palm Beach,
Florida police department (where she lives) and filed a report and was told
that they could not "pay her a visit" for this small amount. Got a return
call from Officer Durso within minutes and apparently I am not the only one
she has done this to because he ran her name through their computer system
and he told me he was on his way to her house as soon as we hung up. He said
he was going to encourage her to make good on the check or she would be
prosecuted. Hey, I got tons of FF miles and a warm climate would be good
about now. I'm there. IT PAYS TO REPORT EVERYTHING TO THE AUTHORITIES. It
just might be your report that puts a crook "over the hump" where the charges
are no longer a misdemeanor. Call Officer Durso at (561) 790-5180 if she
has done this to you. She lives at 121 Rivera Ave., Royal Palm Beach, FL
33411-1001. She may also be running a business called LESLIE'S LEMONTREE
LANE.
