I was high bidder on two different ebay presale auctions:

#184512257 - 2 boxes of Series IV cards - $74.98
#188132504 - 2 boxes of Series IV cards - $75.00

The seller was Lisa R. Kostiner and my personal checks were sent to:
1500 Cambridge Street
Natrona Heights, PA 15065

I don't remember the exact date of the auctions but my checks had cleared the bank by Oct 31, 1999. I emailed her on several occasions at LIL18@WEBTV.NET asking the status of the cards. She responded by saying that the cards would not be delivered to her until Dec 8 and that she would send them to me by Dec 23. When that date rolled around and I still hadn't received the cards, I emailed her again and received the following email:

Hello sorry if this is a repeat. I am responding to evrey(sic) mail that was sent in hopes not to miss anyone. My name is L.R. Kostiner. This is my true identity, I endorsed all payments, I honestly wanted to make my customers happy in regards to their orders. The contractor I had entrusted to fulfill my orders has sent me close to no merchandise and that which was delivered was severly(sic) damaged, the contractor in addition has not refunded me any monies nor has shipped any of the merchandise out. I WILL BE REFUNDING THE MONIES COLLECTED AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. I have started to seek damages against the contractor and will look to collect any insurance that may be claimed. I will try to get a loan if need be, I honestly feel terrible about this, I am left holding the bag and have angered alot(sic) of people, for that I am sorry. I am going to do whatever I can to make these orders right. I understand that you may take action and would not blame you, but I have received serious threats through e-mails against my person and it has caused me great concern. I just want to fufull(sic) your your items or monies as quickly as possible but if such matters keep occuring, I would be forced to file bankruptcy. I am addressing all items and hopefully I will be able to clear this all up within the thirty days allowable by rule. I will send you a new e-mail address within that time frame to allow you to check your refund status, and also you will be receiving a certified letter from the court for any payment schedule, I hope this is the least bit helpful in letting you know that I do intend to do whatever I can to make this situation right, this has made me ill disapointing(sic) you around the holidays, I just hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.

Lisa has since been terminated by ebay and her email address is no longer valid. I have been contacted by about 10 other people asking if I ever got my cards. Seems that a lot of her auctions were for valuable Beanies as well as trading cards. Lisa has not sent me another email address nor have I received any certified letter.

I contacted the Police Department in Natron Heights, PA and was told to contact the FBI in Pittsburgh, PA. The FBI asked for a written report which I sent. I have heard nothing further concerning this situation.
