1. The following transactions took place in July: I bid on a Glory bear auction held by up4sale (auction handle SDOBBY) .
2. Before the auction was over, Manny Chan sent me an email offering a Glory bear for the price I had bid. I was new to the auction business and so went with her offer. (I'm sorry to say, I did not check her references. I did send out emails to her references after I found out about the fake. Received only one reply from "Warlord". He did not know who Manny Chan was but did say he had dealt with a Ying Chan, 441 Ellis Street, San Francisco, CA.)
3. I sent her the money order and received the bear. I was suspicious of the quality of the bear, but did not realize it was fake until I bought another Glory bear from someone else and saw the difference. I checked with Beaniemom's section on fake beanies. The beanie fit the description perfectly, different colored nose, different poem, ribbon around neck.
4. Attached are the email messages sent to me. I don't have the copies
of the emails I sent her after I found out the Glory was a fake. My notebook
crashed. I did have the two attached messages saved to a disk. I purchased
my notebook in June and I don't have a printer yet, so could not print out
the emails I sent.
5. Since I sent you the email msg, I did some more searching on your site
and found that Pamela Mae had done dealings with this person too.
6. I think this person should be stopped. It's not that the lost $105is going to bankrupt me, but I would hate to see someone else get taken.
