Message from Mediators
No one has received a refund or a package from Marie. The victims are
no longer willing to accept the beanies. A total refund is requested and
authorities are being notified.
After I lost auction after auction for Speckles the ebear on
ebay..Marie852456@aol.com emailed me telling me she had a Speckles "in hand"
and asked if I would like to purchase it from her..The Ty website had been
down for some time and Marie offered me Speckles for $99 +shipping .. coming
to $103.49 and I agreed. I sent the money order for Speckles the next day
and she received it July 21st. I heard nothing from Marie until weeks later
when she emailed me telling me that she had been away taking care of a sick
relative. I asked for my money back. After quite a while she emailed me and
told me that she had had emergency surgery and had to have complete bed rest.
I reminded her what her excuse was before and I basically called her a liar!!
It is now over 5 weeks and I have repeatedly asked for my money back and
she is ignoring me. No Speckles...No Money ...No Marie..It looks like she*ll
never return my money...Beware of

Response from Marie when she found she was placed on bad traders list:
There has been no fraud.my hsuband is an attorney you aren't the item
was orderd and mailed i hhave a receipt form the post office you should check
things out more befor you make statements you can't prove how do you even
know this person sent me a money order and what it was for think again befor

Surprise, Surprise! I received a certified package today from Marie....It was the speckles beanie baby....Thankyou for you help. I will notify the IFCC. Is there anyone else I need to let know....I will never deal on line again....Thanks for you help! Deb Siple
