Thanks for the offer of help! We'll take you up on it. Whatever you can
do would be appreciated! After posting my complaint on the list I sent her
an email and told her that I had done so, and also told her Iwould be contacting
the authorities. Miraculously, she emailed me today to say that she mailed
me beanies today! Imagine that! There are a group of 5 of us who have banded
together to fight this little battle, including Rhonda Snyder, whose post
appears above mine. We'll keep you updated as to what happens. It's funny
actually, after I posted on the caution list I emailed to inform her of it
and that I would be filling out a postal fraud complaint form. Amazingly,
she manbaged to email me back pretty much immediately!! In fact, I
received 5 emails from her in one day. That's more than I've heard from her
in the last 5 weeks! We'll see if she actually sends anything. She
has already told 2 of the 5 of us that she has written proof that they
aren't going to pursue this further, so she claims that she doesn't have
to follow through on her end of the deal. In fact here is what she wrote:
"I do not know the exact date that I sent them to you. I am sending out Rhonda
and Michelle's packages Monday morning, so those will be resolved. You and
Patti will be the only other two who have not received their packages. I
do not know why that is. But, the two of you will NOT have a very good case
for one reason. I have in writing from her that she is no longer going to
pursure this any further, and also a letter from you saying you would wait
for the package. In that letter you also stated that if you did not receive
it than you would count it as a loss and move on. " Sounds pretty devious
doesn't it? We'll keep you updated as to what actually happens. In the meantime
here is her email: firebug2000@hotmail.com.....her address is:

We need some help. There are at least 5 of us from www.collectorbee.commthat
have been scammed by Michelle Goldsborough AKA:Peanut2000, her e-mail address
is firebug2000@hotmail.com. Michelle and I made a buy/trade agreement on
June 13th. The agreement was final on June 14th. I sent her a money order
for $20 and a 1999 TY Signature Beanie Bear. In return she was to send me
Osito and Spangle (New Release Beanie Bears). I have a copy of my money order
I sent to her and a copy of the receipt that I got from the post office when
I sent her package out on June 14th. I have e-mailed her SEVERAL times just
trying to keep in touch. She responed to very few of my e-mails. She came
up with this story that she got in over her head with trades and got confused
as to what beanies went to who. I gave her the benifit of the doubt and gave
her a little more time to figure this all out. I told her that I wanted my
Osito and Spangle as she agreed to in my hands no later than June 30th. She
agreed. I have saved all of our e-mail conversations. I called the 1-800
number on the copy of the money I sent her. The lady from "Financial Express
Money Orders" told me that my money order had been cashed on June 28th. Michelle
Goldsborough e-mailed me on June 28th and told me she sent my 2 bears out
that day. I have e-mailed her several times since then. I have tried my best
to stay in contact with her. I called the Post Master in my town and he said
that it should take 3-4 days tops for a package to go from MD to MO. This
is July 10 and still no beanies. In one of our e-mail conversations I asked
her for tracking numbers and I would be more than happy to call the post
office and see what was going on with my package. She was REAL QUICK to say
she did not send my package with delivery conformation. At the same time
all this is taken place, several people from www.collectorbee.com has contacted
me asking if I was having the same problems with Michelle Goldsborough as
they were. There are several people involved here. I have e-mailed her and
so has others, with using the threat of Mail Fraud Prosicution. She says
that I am lying and I have probably got my bears. If I am lying, then why
are there others out there empty handed just like me? She says the threats
of Prosicution don't scare her because it isn't Fraud if she sent out her
beanies to us. I might be able to understand one package getting "Lost",
but like I said it is just not me that don't have their beanies from her.
There are several others out there who haven't seen any packages from her
either. One person whom I have been e-mailing almost daily is Patty Peterson,
e-mail address is berock@prodigy.net. You can contact her also. She has a
list of e-mail address of the others involved. I have asked her to return
my 1999 Ty Signature Beanie Bear in the same condition I sent it to her in
and a money order for $20. She refused. Please help me and the others involved
here. Any advice would be apperciated. Thanks, Rhonda Snyder

Michelle Goldsborough is a lair and thief. On the 12th of June we made an agreement I would purchase 3 Buddies from her for a total of $64.93. I mailed a money order the same day in the amount of $65.00. I received no message from her when my money order arrived. I have e-mailed her 10 times plus I sent her a registered letter. I have only heard back from her 5 times total.Diary:
MINE: June 12, I contacted her in reference to Buddies she had listed
for sale on Checkerbee.
HERS: She thanked me for interest and gave me a total to mail her and gave
me her address.
I SENT MONEY ORDER FOR $65.00 THE SAME DAY
MINE: June 17, I wrote checking to see if she had received my money order
HERS: NO RESPONSE
MINE: June 19, I wrote saying I was concerned as I hadn't heard anything
from her and ask what was happening.
HERS: NO RESPONSE
ON JUNE 21, I POSTED A MESSAGE ON CHECKERBEE--ASKING "PEANUTS2000 WHERE ARE YOU?"
ON JUNE 22 SHE POSTED ON CHECKERBEE AND POSTED THAT SHE HAD GOTTEN IN OVER HER HEAD AND SHE WAS WORKING EVERYTHING OUT.
MINE: JUNE 22, I wrote and told her that people sometimes did become
overwhelmed ask her to please keep in touch.
HERS: NO RESPONSE
MINE: June 22, I wrote her to e-mail me at home and to please keep in touch
and that I hadn't gotten a message she had, supposedly, posted for me on
checkerfbee
HERS: June 22,she told me she was overwhelmed and my items would be mailed
out on Thurs. and also said she would let me know as soon as they were
sent.
MINE: June 23, I wrote her that I would be watching the mail for the package
and that my son was anxious for them to get here.
HERS: NO RESPONSE
MINE: June 26, I wrote asking if the package had been sent, told her I was
on Social Security and couldn't afford to just hand someone $65.00 and not
receive anything for it, ask if she actually had the Buddies I had paid for
and if not to send my money back, also PLEASE let me know what is going on
HERS: NO RESPONSE
MINE: July 1, I wrote asking for my money back because apparently didn't
have the buddies. Also that if I didn't hear SOMETHING by Fri. the 4th I
would be going and talking with the authorities about the situation, also
planned to file a complaint with the Postal Inspector.
HERS: July 1, said she was sending my package out tomorrow morning and would
e-mail me tracking #
IT NEVER HAPPENED
MINE: JULY 1, I ALSO MAILED A LETTER CERTIFIED TO MICHELLE ASKING HER IF
SHE EVEN HAD THE BUDDIES--DIDN'T SHE CARE WHO SHE HURT WITH HER BEHAVIOR--ASK
IF IT WAS ALL A SCAM
HERS: July 7, she said she had sent buddies--it wasn't a scam--she planned
on keeping my money--said she hadn't done anything wrong and there was no
reason I shouldn't have my package
MINE: July 10,wrote that there were still no buddies--ask what date did she
sent them--ask why she didn't e-mail to let me know they were on the way
and where was the tracking #--told her I knew of several others who had not
gotten their packages from her and that an attorney I had spoken with said
we had good records kept for a Class Action Suite against her.
HERS: July 10 (fastest response ever) said she didn't know the exact date
of my shipment--that she was shipping the first of the week to a couple of
the people I also know had SLOW dealings with her and she said she was trying
to work things out with another person which I know--she said she had cashed
my money order and spent the money and didn't have $65.00 so spare at this
time--she wanted to avoid any trouble if possible and if I hadn't gotten
my package by Mon July 12, get a hold of her and we could see what we could
work out. I don't know what if anything you can do about this person but
I felt I had to let someone know about her. Thank you for letting me vent
my frustration.

I want you to know what my experience has been with Michelle Goldsborough
(a regular bad trader on your list). First of all I am part of the five person
group that has been trying to get back our Ty products from Michelle since
June of this year. You have been contacted by some of them (Karen Meyer-Logan
LSLKAL@webtv.net, and others, I believe).I met Michelle around June 11 on
checkerbee.com's bulletin board. She was extremely nice via e-mail...very
chatty and interested in talking about other things besides trading beanies.
She used the handle: peanut2000. She has since been banned from the site
and I and others have complained about her there also. Our trade consisted
of me sending her four buddies: Erin, Rover, Bubbles and Tracker, and Tiny,
the beanie baby. She was to send me a Princess buddy and two Clubbyll kits.
I sent my items, she never sent hers. She always sounded like she was going
to or had already, but they never came. The last communication I had with
her was on July 02 by phone. I took Gramma Pat's advice and called Michelle
at home. I left a message telling her that I wanted my beanies and was involved
with this group of people trying to get theirs back also. I mentioned contacting
the Crisfield, MD police, the State Police, the Post Office and the Secret
Service (which I actually did do).Because she has caller I.D., she was able
to return my call shortly thereafter. She said she had sent the trades I
wanted, Princess buddy and the two Clubbyll kits. She also said that if they
didn't arrive the following day, she would send the ones I originally sent
her. The following evening I received a rude call on my answering machine
from what I believe is her father-in-law. He said I was harassing them, dragging
their name through the mud on the Internet, etc., and that he would SUE ME
for slander if I didn't stop my behavior. His tone was threatening and I
have been very afraid of the consequences from him and his family should
I contact them again. I still do not have any of the buddies or beanies involved
in this trade. I was away for the following week. (By the way, I use a P.O.
Box for my transactions, so there is no reason to think they could have been
stolen off my front porch).I wrote Michelle after the call I received from
her father-in-law and said that because of the threatening nature of the
call I received, I would not be pursuing the matter any further, but that
I hoped she would do the right thing and either send what she promised or
return my property. I never heard from her. I have seen what she has said
about me on your site..something about me harassing her family. This is not
true. Luckily, she hasn't mentioned me by name. Also, she has told another
person that since I said I would not pursue the matter, I have apparently
dropped my complaint against her. She now feels she doesn't owe me anything.
It is not worth the safety and security of my family (I have small children)
for me to pursue this by contacting her directly. I really fear for the
consequences. I live in the same state as she does so my home is more accessible
to her. I also believe she is not playing with a full deck.I just wrote to
my group asking them what they thought about helping me out. Several of them
finally have, or will be, getting their beanies back from Michelle now. At
least I know that our concerted effort and support along with the assistance
from people like you have helped these folks resolve their situations. I
thought maybe the folks on my list could write Michelle a group letter requesting
she return my property since she returned theirs. What do you think? I have
called the Post Master in Crisfield, MD and he is on vacation until next
week. I don't have any problem calling him, but just feel I may be opening
the can of worms again with Michelle and her family. Please write me with
your suggestions. I am an honest trader with plenty of great references and
I am sure the group I am involved with who were also scammed by Michelle
will stand by me and my assertions.

Response to cautionlist from: firebug2000@hotmail.com
You do not know the whole situation. I have read the postings about me and to my knowledge, the people are Rhonda Snyder, Michelle Cooper and May-Lin Robbins. If you would take the time to contact these people you will find out that I sent them confirmation numbers this morning for the packages that were sent to them noontime today.Thank you, Michelle

Response to cautionlist from: firebug2000@hotmail.com
I have delivery confirmation on both packages for May-Lin and Michelle
, they both received their packages. I am not concerned about this any more.
People can do what they feel is necessary, it does not bither me anymore.
i have the proof I need so if they choose to waste their time, that is fine.
But I do have some advice you can pass on. They will be wasting their time
calling the Crisfield police Dept because i live outside of city limits and
someone has already tried. Tell them to try the State Police located in Princess
Anne,MD. If it does them any good:-)Thanks, michelle

did not.

Update from: Coopergrp6@aol.com
I did in fact receive my package from Michelle, however, 3 of the others
in my little group didn't. I have gotten so many emails from people who saw
my post saying that she did the same to them. Many people have received their
same beanies back, but no one that I have been in contact with has had their
original trade fulfilled and no cash has been refunded. Please help us to
do what ever we can to stop her! I was contacted by someone at smart trader
the other day who said that they had been contacted to put Michelle Goldsborough
on their good traders list. She had read our posts and wanted more info.
That's all that we need is for her to end up on anyone's GOOD trader list!
Thanks for your help! Michelle Cooper

I sent Michelle Goldsborough(firebug2000@hotmail.com) a MWMT Sting for
rinc. Buddy, Fuzz buddy, Spangle and Osito. She says she receined mine and
that she sent hers. She claims to have had the wrong zip code. If so, why
hasn't the post office sent the package back to her. This happened in June
and I even offeed to accept a few beanies as compensation. She refuses and
no calls me a theif. Be wary of Michelle. Rich
