I was to send a $45 to:

And, in exchange, I would get a mint US Open Dora. She said she wouldn't be able to ship the beanie until Sept. 6th because she isn't allowed to drive.

I received something in the mail today from this zip code 38029 with no return address. In the box were 7 VHS tapes. I did not buy any VHS tapes from anyone so after check Google Maps and noticing how close this zip code was to the one she gave me, I realized it must have been her that sent them to me.

Here is what she wrote when I asked (her latest email...her first 2 emails claimed she had nothing to do with the tapes):

I knew that as soon as she told me in a previous email that her packages sometimes get stolen because she's in a bad neighborhood, that she was going to claim the package was stolen (which is improbable if she took it to a post office to send). Her saying the beanie came from a Goodwill makes me believe that it wasn't the correct beanie to begin with.

In fact, I believe she didn't send any beanie at all and instead sent the VHS tapes to "soften the blow."

Of course, after making the deal and sending the money, I received emails from a few people saying BEWARE! But it was too late to do anything. I was also told she changed her last name and location (Bartlett, TN). Her feedback on eBay isn't too good, but it didn't raise too many alarms, but I should have trusted my gut and just said "no thanks."

Anyway, I need help and was hoping you could help me. I have all emails to/from her. I have my USPS money order receipt around herre somewhere.

Here's the email:

I told her that I checked USPS.com and the package was delivered on 9/2! No response.

I wanted to let you know so maybe you could investigate further. There are a few posts on BBOT and Addy's. Unfortunately I didn't see anything negative about this person before our trade.

Comments: Back on August 11th, I sent 3 Chicagos in trade for Discover and still have not received it. I have the receipt to prove that I sent my end.

Comments: I never received my part of the trade with the person, she then told me that she didnt receive mine either. When i asked her if she had proof of postage like i did she made up excuses and couldn't send me it. She didn't even know the exact day she supposedly sent my beanies!
