Recently i purchased 9 beanies on a presell from greatgrannynannie@yahoo.com(nan gilbert) and i never received them. on jan., 6 i won them on an auction. 30 days from that would be feb6 she should have had them and shipped them out shortly after this...it is now feb 23 and still no beanies . at the end of jan, for whatever reason, her registration as an ebay user was suspended. i have tried emailing and phining her both to no avail. she has not answered either one. right now i just want my money back...she owes me $68.95. what should i do.. i live in michigan and she lives in longview texas...i have emailed some people with a negative feedback of her and they both said she was dishonest. le tme know what i ought to do next.

I purchased a beanie babie, Cupid, from the ebay seller
greatgrannynannie(Nan Gilbert, from Longview, Texas) on January 28,
2002. I sent payment via Paypal on February 1, 2002. Shortly after I sent
payment, she sent me an email stating that she was declared "no longer a
registered user"by Ebay, and had no idea why that had happened: she assured
all her "buyers" that that she would get the problem resolved. A couple days
later, I sent her another email, and I got an auto response fromYahoo saying
that her computer was in the shop and she would reply to all her mail the
following Monday(I sent this email on Feb 7, Thursday) and that's the last
I've heard! I have sent additional emails, and even tried to call her, but
a recording said the telephone number she had listed had been disconnected!
I only spent $8.65 for Cupid, but I hate to be ripped off! I have had many
positive experiences on Ebay( I wrote to them, and they don't cover anything
unless the value is more than $25) Any suggestions? Or am I just out my money
and stuffed animal?

i just wanted to warn everyone about a bad trader,her name is Nan Gilbert
of Longview Texas,e-mail address is greatgrannynannie@yahoo.com.i won a presell
on e-bay item # 1692822930 on Jan 22nd. the total amount including shipping
& handling was $31.96. i sent a money order but almost 2 months later
still no bopper.i have sent numerous e-mails with no answer.she did send
me an e-mail on march 3rd and said the 30 days from the day i won the auction
wasnt up yet and she would e-mail me when she would be shipping it. i have
e-mailed her several more times to find out the status of when it was going
to be shipped but no answer.Please let everyone know to avoid this person

Nan Gilbert (greatgrannynannie@yahoo.com) accepted $91 from me in payment
and shipping for an M.C. Beanie Baby. To date all I have received are a couple
of emails from her with unacceptable excuses or automated emails. I have
also received emails from others who have experienced the same problems with
this person. I did post a Bad Trader Report on her about a month ago and
at least one other person has done the same. We have also filed complaints
with the FBI. At least, this time, I was in time to get back my money from
my card company - BUT having said that, I would still do anything in my power
to stop this person from hurting others.

within a week, I had my beanies in hand. I SUGGEST EVERYONE CONTACT THE LONGVIEW

Nan Gilbert at 113 woodway Ln Tx has not sent me my beanie bopper I bought from her on 1-28-02 ebay auction paid for by check she cashed it on 2-4-02 it cleared my bank on 2-6-02 item # on ebay was 1694019234 beanie footi bopper.She keeps saying she going to send it but it never gets here.she acts like nothing has happen most of the time she won't answer my emails and she has changed her phone number.Please advice me i have already posted here.Thanks Renee Ruiz
I purchased 9 Beanie Boppers on Ebay on January 24, 2002 from Nan Gilbert- user name greatgrannynannie. It was a 30 day pre-sale and Nan Gilbert emailed me to let me know I should receive them in about 30 days from the date of payment. I mailed a personal check on January 25, 2002 for $51.95.

I left feedback on Ebay for her that she responded quickly and I planned on doing a Follow up when I received my Beanies. She emailed me and said that I should be careful about leaving feedback before I get my merchandise. Ironic, isn't it?! I received an email on January 30, 2002 stating that Nan Gilbert had been suspended but, it was a mistake and I shouldn't worry.
I sent several emails after that and I would just get an Auto response saying that her computer was in the shop and she would respond when she got it back. Around March 20th or so I emailed her again and told her I would give her till the end of the week to respond. She did not, so I went in and emailed ALL of the buyers & sellers on her feedback list. That is when I realized she is back on Ebay but, this time her user id is nangilbert. I have been in contact with five other people who have had the same thing happen to them. I emailed Nan Gilbert through Ebay stating that I want my money back and that I will filing a complaint and she finally responded this way as if nothing had been wrong or happened.

I just wanted to let you know i recieved an e-mail from the Longview,Texas
Police Dept & they told me that Nan Gilbert's real name is Barrie Johnson,she
is already listed under numerous complaints. She also goes by BJS Products,Kali
Rea,Joan Moore. I suggest if anyone has had problems with this person to
contact the Longview P.D. they are very helpful.Also be careful because she
is back on E-bay under the user id nangilbert.

hasnt answered an email since - no sign of my goods at all She comes from

I posted a complaint on April 1st. I did FINALLY receive my Beanie Boppers
(should have been 7 instead of 9-sorry for the mistake)after 3 months. BUT,
THE ONLY REASON THAT I RECEIVED THEM IS BECAUSE I CONTACTED THE LONGVIEW
POLICE!! Now she keeps emailing me about me filing complaints and so forth
on her-and she says she is honest-YEAH RIGHT!! She has lied from the beginning.
Funny thing is her email seems to be working a lot better since she found
out I filed a complaint with the Longview Police. Good Luck-feel free to

I just wanted to let anyone who has been ripped off by Nan Gilbert or
any of her other names she uses to pls contact Sgt.Mike Hyko at the Longview
Police Dept asap. Nan has promised to make good to everyone she has ripped
off within the next week,so he would like anyone who has been ripped off
by her to contact him asap so he can make sure she keeps her word.thanks,
