I was a successful bidder on a coin on ebay. Seller contacted me and a personal check was sent with the understanding that it would take 10 days max to clear. Auction ended 2/11 and the check cleared my bank on 3/5. The seller has not returned any of my last 2 emails. Previously to that he responded saying the coin would be sent but her had the flu. That was 3 weeks in a row. Finally I requested a refund, still no answer. I thing ebay is great, but lately it is a little discouraging. Can you help. He has not responded to safe harbor either.  The coin was a 1879 S Morgan NGC MS64 dollar. Price paid was 42.95 which included shipping and insurance.

traders_name: Patrick Quick Comments: I sent this guy $497.50 on 2/9 for a gold coin. He didn't cash it until March 5. He kept telling me he had teh flu. he gave me 3 different dates that he was going to send the coin. It still isn't here. Beware of this guy. I started the fraud procedures, and i have been calling him daily. Tomorrow i am meeting with the student lawyers to discuss legal action. His phone number for his business, raretrader.com is 651-334-7704. I have tried to contact information in the area and they don't have a patrick quick listed.  I have contacted ebay, but he defrauded me out of $500 for an $20 Gold peice. 175 dollars is small comfort. My attorney will be contacting him shortly as well.
