I am having a problem with a trade. I confirmed a trade around May 3rd to send a MWMT Unity beanie to Canada for a MWMT Sakura beanie which was guaranteed 100% authentic. The trader's name was Pat Moniz and he wanted Unity in time for his daughter's birthday on May 5th. He told me if I sent Unity and it reached Canada by her birthday, he would send me Chinook as well. I sent Unity out May 3rd via global express mail by DHL. I checked the tracking number and it never came up in the system. I was out of town the weekend of the daughter's party but emailed Pat again that Monday, May 7th. Pat said that Unity didn't arrive. I sent out a trace but Unity came back to me within 2 days because the postage was insufficient. Unfortunately I used the wrong envelope (global priority) with the DHL slip and the clerk gave me the wrong postage quote. I emailed Pat who had been emailing me daily to find out the status. Once I had Unity back, I asked him if I should wait until I get Sakura and Chinook and send back Chinook with Unity since I didn't get the package there in time. He claimed that Sakura beanie and Chinook were sent out as well. Pat said that I could throw in a Patriot beanie with Unity to cover the Chinook. I apologized profusely for my mistake and sent out Unity AGAIN with Patriot via global priority mail. After that point, I hadn't heard from Pat again. I emailed him several times and his last response was on May 21st saying that Unity and Patriot did not arrive yet and he will let me know. I tried numerous times after that point to find out if my beanies arrived or if he had sent out Sakura and Chinook as promised because I had yet to receive them. I checked feedback on the KnK trading board as well as the traderlist before trading. The details are as follows:

To date I have not received any beanies or any responses. He refuses to
acknowledge that my beanies arrived and I have not receive a definate date
in which he sent my beanies out. Please help! I understand that sometimes
things get lost but its never a good sign when they stop replying :( I will
forward you all emails I have saved. Thanks

FROM MAY 2ND THAT HE AGREED TO FROM MY ADS ON SMARTCOLLECTING AND
COLLECTINGNATION AND DOESN'T ANSWER EMAILS OR CALLS SINCE MAY 23RD. I HAVE
PROOF THAT I MAILED HIM MY PART OF TRADE AND HE ADMITS GETTING IT BUT SENT
ME NOTHING EXCEPT A VIRUS WHEN I ASKED HIM WHERE MY BEANIES WERE. THANK GOODNESS
I HAVE A GOOD VIRUS SCANNER. HE GOES BY THE NAME OF BEAR 67 ON COLLECTINGNATION
AND KNK AND IS NOT REGISTERED HERE ON SMARTCOLLECTING.

We made a trade, my Toronto Izzy for his Chinook. We were shipping on
Apr. 19. I sent mine and he didn't. He answered my e-mails at first but won't
anymore. He is now banned from CN for negative feedback.
Traderlist has received no replies from this person.

I received my Santa Barbara and Toronto Issys today from Patrick Schopen.
Thank you all for your help in getting him to send them back. I hope that
everyone else that traded with him and got scammed also received their beanies.
Please let me know.
