I negotiated and sent a Maple and a 97 Teddy to Penney Kellar on Sept 18,
for her Twigs buddy. I have not heard from her since, she does not respond
to e-mails. I have called her number she gave, and it has been disconnected.
I did check the 6 references she gave before we traded, and they all wrote
back favorably. I then checked ebay, where I found she was listed, with several
neutral/ negative comments, under dragmier. Checked user info, and found
it listed to a BGarrisson, who was also one of her references! There was
also a different ph number listed, so I called that, and did speak to someone,
who said Penney was at work, and she would pass on the message. Well, one
week later, and no message from Penney. I just called again, and was told
she was at work, and her daughter knew nothing about it, but would pass on
the message. Several of the neutral comments on ebay are from outside ebay
trades, but sound similiar to mine. I do still have the messages from the
references she gave, and all her correspondence. Thanks for all your help.

On Saturday, September 12th, 1999 at approximately 3:46 pm, I was emailed
by Penny Kellar in reference to a Ty Beanie Baby trade. Penny Kellar stated
that she was willing to trade one Ty Beanie Babie (Maple the Canadian Bear),
for four of mine (Osito the Mexican Bear). I asked Penny for Internet references
which she did provide for me. Upon reviewing Penny's trade references, (she
only had 5-6), I thought it best to ask her to ship her Ty Beanie Baby (Maple)
to me first. This is what most traders do when the other does not have any
references or very little references. Penny was not happy with this request;
therefore, I gave her the benefit of the doubt. We agreed to ship our Ty
Beanies on the same day, which was Tuesday, September 14, 1999.
As agreed, I sent my package to Penny's residence and once done, I emailed Penny letting her know that I had done so. I also put a confirmation tracking number on the package, as I as well as Penny would be able to track the package's shipping status. I gave the tracking number to Penny as well so she would refer to it. I did not receive any notification from Penny that she received my email or that she had shipped my package.
Thursday, September 16th, I discovered that my package was delivered to Penny's residence (see attach document). I then emailed Penny immediately stating that I knew that the package was delivered to her residence. I asked Penny when she had shipped my package. Penny emailed me and told me that she shipped her package the same day as agreed Tuesday, September 14th. Penny then asked me if I shipped her package of Ositos? I received this email prior to her receiving my email stating that I knew she receive my package. I think that Penny was a bit surprised that I knew she got the package.
Saturday, September 18th, I still had not receive my package from Penny and I was getting a bit upset (as I have been scammed twice before by different people). I sent Penny an email and demanded to know what was going on. No response from Penny.
I looked up Penny's telephone number via Yahoo.com and I called her residence. Another female answered the telephone and I asked to speak with Penny, the female asked who I was, I again asked to speak with Penny, Penny then got on the phone. I identified myself as Lisa Van Fossen and that we agreed to trade Ty Beanies. I asked Penny if she received my 4-Ositos and she said yes. I asked Penny if she sent my Maple and she said yes, I asked when, she said on Tuesday, September 14, I asked her how did she send, Penny said that she sent it 3-day priority. I told Penny that I did not receive any such package and she told me to wait until Monday, September 20th and see if the package would arrive.
Monday, September 20th, No package arrived. I again called Penny at approximately 4:46 pm. A female answered the telephone, I asked to speak with Penny and I was told that Penny was not available (what a surprise, I thought to myself). I said thank you very much and ended the call.
Tuesday, September 21st, No package arrived. I again called Penny at approximately 4:55 pm and a female answered the telephone, I asked to speak with Penny and I was told that Penny was not available. I then asked when would be a good time to reach her and I was told that Penny was on vacation for the week. I asked this person if she knew anything about Ty Beanie Babies and she said not really. I asked her if she thought that Penny had sent me my (Maple) beanie and she said I think that she did. I don't know why I asked these questions, as why would this person tell me the truth, right?

Made a deal on September 11, 1999 to trade my Birthday Bear for her Blue
faced Spangle Bear. I emailed her on September 20 to find out the status
of Spangle, and she said it was sent out, and she didn't know why it wasn't
here yet. I never received my bear.
Penny stated she has feedback on Beanie nation and humpty dumpty.
