My name is Miranda Soper (Mandy). About 2 months ago (or longer) I finalized a trade with Phil Card (phil@pcard.freeserve.co.uk) of my MC beanie for his England, Scotland, Wales beanies (this was a couple weeks after these beanies were introduced...he expected them in for shipment around 2/22/02). We agreed to ship out on or around that date.I was using the email lilhunny@address.com, but since then address.com has had horrible service so I unregistered that one and replaced it with this one. Phil is well aware of this since I changed before the original packages were mailed.I mailed out MC and he acknowledged receiving it, but I have still not received any packages. He claims to have sent one on the agreed upon date. When that didn't arrive he offered to mail out another via registered mail (this was 3 weeks ago today). Still nothing has arrived. Other trades to the UK during this time period have arrived within a week for me. Phil seems like a nice guy and has remained in fairly regular contact with me. After I never received the first package though I wrote approximately 4 times within 2 weeks without response. Figuring I may have been scammed, I wrote notifying him I was going to contact the authorities. He then responded claiming to have been gone in the royal army for training for 10 days. I last wrote him 2-3 days ago and have not received any reply. Even though he seems nice, I don't think he ever mailed the packages. I have traded with others without problems during this extensive period. When I last wrote I asked him to trace the last package since he supposedly sent it registered! I don't know what to do next. I have been very patient. The only time I sounded severe and less than trusting was after the 1st package never arrived and he didn't write me. I have all emails sent to this address by Phil, but the address.com ones were erased during the company's last 'upgrade'.I have never been scammed before. He answered an ad I posted on KnK. He has feedback posted there and a couple on Ebay. I have emailed him asking for proof he mailed, but he hasn't replied to me in over a week. His mailing address is:

Thanks for your help, Mandy

Hi, I do apologise for not getting back to you sooner but I have only
just checked my mail, I work away and only get back every week or so, I am
also not happy about this matter, I have no reason to lie about sending the
packages, I also have proof of sending the second package, the Royal Mail
here in the UK had informed me that they arrived in the USA weeks ago, How
do I know that she has not recieved them and is saying that they have'nt
arrived? I don't like being accused of something that I have'nt done,
and being blacklisted on the Internet, I will be contacting my solicitor
on monday to see where I stand on this matter, I am very sorry that
it has had to come to this, yours sincerely Philip Card.

Cautionlist emailed Phil and let him know that I needed proof of mailing
that he states he had and also asked for the tracking number of the package.
He never did reply back to my emails re this. Plus if he sent package registered
he would have the proof if she got it because you have to sign for registered
mail.

Hi, Thank you for your help. He has still not replied to any of my emails. I sent one just before I emailed you the first time and one shortly after. His reasoning for sending it registered is that it will require a signature (that is what he told me weeks ago). Here is a quote:
"If you do not receive it by Monday I will send out another 3 Bear's via recorded/registered package it is dearer but at least I know it will get to you safely because it has to be signed at every stage so I then can track it on the Internet.(please return the other's if they arrive.)"
Please keep me posted. Thank you! Mandy
