This is a complaint about Punit or Paul Thind. He uses both of those names as an alias. I got second place in a laptop auction, after the auction he contacted me as the seller of the auction. He also stated that he worked for Computer Associates. i later found out that he was neither. He said that he would sell me the Sony Vaio NV170 Laptop for $1100. I paid him and after three weeks, I still have not recieved the Laptop.

I have no specific address on this person. I payed through bank transfer.

Comments: I purchased a computer off of this person on the internet. He got a hold of me after I got second place on a ebay bid saying that he did not get ahold of the winner and was wondering if I wanted to buy the computer. I sent him $1400 and he never sent me the computer. He lives in Montreal, Ontario. After numerous emails and complaints he then said he was mailing me a refund. He never did. I have his bank account info but and I made a complaint to the IFCC but it doesn't seem to be getting me anywhere. What should I do to get my money back?

Comments: Ordered a laptop, sent a cashiers check on 8/22 to listed address, got Email promises but no laptop. Noticed other complaints. Need to prosecute, lost $1000.00

I to was a victim of this man. He got me for $1525 using the same trick. I had lost a bid on ebya for a Dell laptop. When he approached me I thought nothing of it. Since finding this place, I made contact with some of his other victims and have also started pressing charges as well...
