Complaint filed by: alisak@webtv.net (ann lisak)
I wish that I had saved her references! This was one post that I did not
save as once I checked a few, I deleted it! I am out a MWMT Chops! I was
trading her for a MWMT Germania! Got the same hahaha in my message about
original shipping, too! Isn't that nice. I got some song about how she had
previously sold the Germania, but was expecting another in trade from someone
else who is late in sending their part. Now, almost a month later, I still
have no Germania and she has my gorgeous Chop. Until this past tues. she
did correspond with me. Now, I feel that it is a matter for the authorities.
This is mail fraud and is a crime in the US. I don't know about Canada. AnnI
have 2 email address for her: the gemmy1 one and rrjjns@nbnet.nb.ca. She
claimed to have problems with one of them because of a trader blocking her
mail in the gemmy1.

Complaint filed by: squiffy@super.net.uk
On Friday 14th May I agreed a trade with Raymonde Leaman (gemmy1@nbnet.nb.ca).
The trade was for my MWMT Britannia, PVC Princess & Spangle for her MWMT
Garcia & Maple. She said she would mail the bears on the Saturday by
priority mail. She gave me her address for posting: Raymonde Leaman 797 mount
carmel street bathurst, New Brunswick E2A 2B9 Canada. The next day I found
out that my post office do not operate priority mail on a Saturday so I told
her that I was unable to send on that day but asked her if she had sent mine.
This was her reply: "yes your are all gone., that is ok ill wiat for yours,
Ill be on the lookout hahahha raymonde" Over the next few weeks I mailed
her several times to check how long it was likely to take for the bears to
arrive but she did not respond. Only when I left a message on one of her
newsgroups asking for a reply did she get in touch. One of the newsgroup
members got in touch with me and asked what our trade had been. The message
read "What was your trade? Don't tell me a Maple!!!! He has 5 of them in
the works, and no one has their Maples!!!!" (they thought Raymonde was male)
On the 5th June I sent a message advising that, unless I received some positive
communication from her (with regards to her honouring her side of the trade)
I would take the matter further. She replied within 11 minutes and said that
she had received my parcel and she couldn't understand why I hadn't received
hers. On the 6th June I wrote asking her for the mail reference number so
that we could attempt to trace the parcel. She responded but completely ignored
that request. She told me she would return my items. I then arranged another
trade for those items and asked her to send them directly to the new trader
(within Canada) by UPS with tracking. She sent me a message on the 8th June
saying "Hi how are you just camehome from the post office here is the number
that i have 46 080 489 727 and it is send exress post thanks raymonde." I
tried looking that number up on the UPS page & also the Canada Post page
and both say that it is not a valid number. My new trader said that, within
Canada, it would only take a couple of days for her to receive an Expresss
package and she has received nothing. Then, last night, I discovered that
someone else on one of my newsgroups has a problem with Raymonde. I could
copy her details to show her bad trade too but, as I have not asked her
permission, I would prefer to put her in touch with this page so that she
can decide whether she wants to leave feedback. KInd regards, Stephanie.

Response to cautionlist from: gemmy1@nbnet.nb.ca
Hi like I told then I have sent them and they should be getting them
soon .,they did not pay for priority mail and I cant put up a 13.00 shipping
charge they where sent surface mail and it can take up to 6 weeks please
check with the postmaster here in Northen New Brunswick and after they receive
them which I dont know if they already did., do they have the proff that
it didn't come in ., It looks like to me that they are both together on this
and since Im in Canada., they think that they can get away with this ., Ill
be putting my own charges or harrasment on these people if they go ahead
and contact the auctorities., I have not done nothing wrong I have sent all
the beanies or whichever they have purchased and sent them away just because
its not registered mail they think they can have the beanies or whatever
and plus their cash., It doesn't work that way., thanks raymonde

Another response to cautionlist from: gemmy1@nbnet.nb.ca

receives hers and then charges of harransment ., on to that., I have proff
that it has been sent but that is none of your business., you can put my
name everywhere and so can I first thing tommorrow morning If I hear of a
police person knocking at my door Ill give them that and put harransment
charges on everyone that is on my case Im saving everything to disk.,I know
how it feels to be in the middle but they should all resivee their beanies

Complaint filed by: Gdmonica@aol.com
I ordered one magic for 15.00, then ordered a second one five minutes
later. She gave me the same thanks for bidding letter on each one. I explained
that I was the same person who had just bid a couple of minutes ago, and
perhaps shipping would be cheaper by sending two at once. That is where the
35.00 comes in. On many occasions, I asked to call her so we could work thru
this additional trade with flutter and bessie. I knew she was a scammer,
but wanted to talk to her and try to see her game. Also try to figure out
what was up with the magics. She refused to give out her number. I gave her
mine and told her to call collect. She told me she would, but never did.
Sometimes she wouldnt answer my emails, so I used another email name of mine
gdandrea14@aol.com. Up till this morning, she was still emailing me. Now
both her email addresses come back returned user unknown. One other point
that I dont want you to get confused on. The negative feedback that was posted
was not from me, but from another she scammed. I believe she sold mulitple
items to about 30 people at least, if not more. The items are only listed
for one month before disappearing. I believe she sold 6 using boyd77.

My name is Judy Powers and I have a user ID of dayjay1.I purchased an
item on nobidding.com from a USER, called boyd77, this person was sent a
money order for purchase a month ago and never sent the item and will not
return my emails. I also received an email from another user who claims she
was also scammed by this woman. I also find it interesting that there is
another seller on ebay with the same ID boyd77. My money order was to be
sent to a man, Randy Leaman, from bathhurst, New Brunswick/ the boyd77 on
ebay is a woman ,Sue Moore from Mocton New Brunswick, and the woman who mailed
me said that this was a woman named Gemmy, what is even scarrier is that
whoever this is still has autions running on these sites. Hope this info
helps to stop creeps like this! Keep up the good work! dayjay1/Judy

Information on Raymonde Leaman
I have found a phone number for a Randy Leamon using the address I sent my
money to. It is 506-546-3504. Raymonde's or Randy's husband was talked to
by one of the people that had complaint. Not sure if he is in the scam also.
He says that he thought it was just one or two people and he thought
it was all straightened out by now. Said they got a couple of beanies back
in the mail and a couple were stopped at duties. How would he know that?
Seemed real curious about the identities of the people who complained. Said
he wasnt aware his mail service was turned off. He wanted to know about my
website that would inform him of all the complaints. Told him I didnt have
a web site.I wouldnt give him my email address, but I did do something equally
stupid. They are using all 3 emails on ebay, and a fourth one is possibly
theirs. It is poka23@nbnet.nb.ca. Havent had this verified yet. I used the
ebay service that lets members get phone numbers and info on people. I get
their info, they get mine. Typed in all four email addresses. He says he
is going to contact cautionlist elf tomorrow to straighten everything out.
Please keep informed. Cautionlist does not think that it will hear from them
again. But all info will be placed her that I can find out.

NoBidding.com. I mailed out a MO on 05/21/99 to this person and have yet
to receive the beanie or a refund. The e-mail address is returned as user

Complaint filed by: tikim@iolnm.net
On May 10th I ordered 2 sets of '97 teenie beanie babies at a cost of
$160.00 + $5 shipping from this person. On 5-12 I mailed a United States
Postal Money Order to their 797 Mount Carmel St. Bathurst,New Brunswick Ca.
address. I didnt know that it took extra postage so it was returned to me.
I remailed it with the proper postage on 5-18 and emailed them to let them
know so they wouldnt think that I was not going to pay them. Raymondes reply
was "That is all right I dont mind waiting, thanks raymonde" I wish I'd known
then what I know now!! I have emailed them several times, including my being
dumb enough to O.K. a swap with them, and never recieved another reply. I
purchased these items off of No-Bidding so when I couldnt get anywhere with
my emails, I reported them to NoBid. The reservation code is x83448.I also
posted a neutral feedback on ebay hopping to warn others. I am working with
the U.S. Postal Service and will not hesitate to press charges. Raymond,
I expect you to retaliate in a negative manner because you have done that
to everyone else that has come forward with the truth about you. I just want
everyone to know that no matter which 1 of your ID.s or Email names you use
there are enough of us to track you now. At last count there were 17 of us,
and the total is going up every day! AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR NEW EMAIL ADDRESS

Add me to the Raymonde Leaman Club... I sent her (gemmy1@nbnet.nb.ca)
money for an auction that ended May 13 and have yet to receive anything...
Since we are both in Canada, it should not have been a long process... Also,
I sent extra for insurance and tracking so the parcel could be located or
the money refunded if something happened.. Well it did happen! I did not
received my toys! When I inquired as to the staus of the parcel, she said
it had been shipped... When inquired again, I got no response... When I emailed
her again, I found the email address was no longer valid... After some searching,
I found other email addresses for her, most of which were invalid, but 2
still worked..rrjjns@nbnet.nb.ca & leamanr@yahoo.com...I asked Raymonde
to send the postal # on the package receipt and asked for the insurance #
and information so that the post office could lookinto it... Well, Raymonde
has not sent me that info to me... So I am out $133.00USD... As of today
(June 30), there have been 27 people (and climbing) that have not received
their items from her!
Thank you, Michaele Balzarano
Please add me to your list of those who have been scammed by Raymonde Leaman. My email address is mary@sinbad.net. I sent Raymonde Leaman an International Money Order (#70215194970) on May 11, 1999 in the amount of $53.00. I mailed the money order to her address: 797 Mount Carmel Street, Bathurst, New Brunswick E2A 2B9 Canada. She did email me using the email address of rrjjins@nbnet.nb.ca and confirm that she did receive the money order I mailed her. She also emailed me and told me she mailed my package out on May 21, 1999. When her package did not arrive in a timely manner I got concerned and emailed her about it. I asked her if she insured it as I felt it was lost in the mail. She said she would check her records and go to the post office to see what the status was. That was the last email I received from her. I have emailed her since then that I wanted my money back but she has ignored my emails. I even emailed her and told her I felt she was ignoring me.
I have read the complaints just recently what others have written about Raymonde Leaman. I also have read Raymonde's comments where she basically said she was the victim and that the items were received by the addressee but because she did not insure them she could not prove they were received. She also implied she could not afford to insure the items. (That is my interpretation of Raymonde's comments) It did not escape my attention that she charged me for the shipping and handling so this expense was not out of her pocket. I have found discrepancies in her statements.
My friend who wants to remain anonymous said that Raymonde Leman has used
the name of Moonshadow on Ebay and it shows negative feedback.
Ray has also scammed me!! I reserved a Garcia beanie baby on Nobid on
5/31/99 and sent MO for $95.00 on 6/1/99. On 6/17/99, Ray emailed stating
Mo had not arrived and that she had downloaded a virus and lost all emails.
I have emailed serveral times and she will not respond to emails. It wasn't
until I contacted NoBid that I realized her last name was Leaman and not
Chamberlain. Please let others know not to do any business with this person...BAD
NEWS!!
STAY AWAY from this scammer. Add me to the list of who she has scammed.
I sent for 2 Garcia's that were posted on the nobidding site from Raymonde.
I sent a cashiers check to her via airmail and says she never got it. So
I stopped payment on it and was dumb enough to send her a international money
order via global priority mail. She finally admits getting that one and that
she sent them out (which I have never gotton) but now her email address is
no longer in service. I had also asked for references that I checked but
deleted them after they came back okay. Which now I realize that they were
from her too. I recognize one of the emails as being one of her references.
I say enough is enough. If everyone keeps after her--we can stop her. Lets
make her pay for being dishonest to the rest of us honest ones.

I just wanted to give you all this advise.. for all those who were scammed
by Raymonde Leaman.. you might want to contact their localm Internet Service
Provider in New Brunswick.. They may be able to be sure that this person
does not get an internet account with them again at least. I live in New
Brunswick Canada and have heard great things about the company. (NBTel Internet).
What I would suggest doing it writing to their abuse department (I took the
liberty of looking it up at abuse@nbnet.nb.ca

send three small items to people. Of course she lied about when they were

were little purchases. I suggest that all start the mail fraud procedings

Complaint filed by: cheryllynne7@yahoo.com
I was the high bidder of yahoo auction #7807287 which ended on 9-3-99.
this was the first yahoo auction I ever participated in. I received an email
from Marie Chamberlain telling me where to send my payment, and what amount
to pay. It was to go a Raymonde Leaman at 797 Mount Carmel Street Bathurst,
NB Cananda E2A2B9. I emailed him and asked if a personal check would be ok.
He said yes, but would wait for it to clear before shipping the doll dress.
My check cleared the bank on 9/23/99 and I emailed him to inquire if/when
the dress was sent. He gave me a vague answer that he thought it went out
on 9/20/99. He said mail from CAnada is slow and to keep waiting. I have
been in contact with him weekly informing him that I still havn't received
the merchandise and gave him a deadline of 11/1/99 for the dress to arrive
or I would like my money back. The last email I got from him said that he
had to do some checking before he could send my money. I emailed him asking
what he had to check on and he has not replied to any of my emails since.
I told him I was aware of his other complaints on the caution list and I
told him I would be contacting the authorities and posting negative feedback
for him If he did not respond and I didnt have my money returned. Again,
he did not respond. I put negative feedback on his file yesterday and have
started contacting various authorities to alert them of this fraudster. Please
let me know if you need specific dates of the emails as I have saved them
all.By the way, the first 2 emails I got were from Marie chamberlain and
all since then have been from Raymonde Leaman. I do not know if I am dealing
with a man or a woman. Also, please let me know what you are going to do
with this information and what I could expect from here. Thanks for any help
you can provide. Cheryl

Complaint filed by: CAC3024@aol.com
I have been in contact with an individual whom posted a complaint on
Raymonde Leaman....Her name was Ann Lisak and I wrote to her requesting
information on how she was defrauded. At such time, I found we had similar
transactions with Leamanr. I won an auction in Yahoo on sept.1st...Seller
didn't answer my E-mail on win until the 7th of sept. On the 8th of Sept.
1999 I remitted payment for one beanie baby "Chops" for $75.00 US + 5.60
for S/H and Ins. total $80.60. A month had passed and no beanie! Although
I rec'd my cancelled check back with Raymondes signature and cashed on Bank
of Canada. I wrote requesting status. He wrote back stating Uncle was dying
and life was quite hectic at the time...stated would check with postal service
and get back to me ASAP. After that never heard from again...Ive written
numerous E-mails requesting a response and nothing in return. I then went
to ratings in Yahoo to post. He then surfaced in ratings and replied that
the mail was slow in Canada and also that he had offered me beanies and never
heard back from me. I went back to ratings to express that from information
discovered from traderlist.com I was appalled to learn of all his/her aliases
and auction locales...In yahoo alone he/she has over 700 items for sale.
Just think that is only ONE auction site...This guy is making a BUNDLE! I
guess it turns out that Raymonde defrauded Ann out of her CHOPS on a false
trade and I ended up paying Raymonde 80.60 to keep chops! :( So he got a
chops and 80.60 ...wonder how many other times he sold Chops?? Also I noticed
he has many excellent ratings mixed in...That perplexed me..wondered how
could so many people be so wrong on Raymonde...Then one thought came to mind
that he may possibly be running a multi-faceted scam with other people
involved...Where he has those people or himself go in and bid/win auctions...then
later to return to give excellent rating...and keep a constant flow of positives
mixed in with the negatives. This would keep buyers confused and emotionally
unsure...then he turns around to try and make the good people look like liars
and making false accusation. This buys him time to keep collecting monies
and defrauding innocent people and then when he exhausts himself...moves
on to new auction site and name. Just a little food for thought...It interests
me.Since my contact with Ann, I have sent an E-mail to individual working
for the Mounted Police to seek help in stopping this person. I have evidence
of cancelled check for 80.60 with his signature and all E-mail transamissions

This person, Raymonde Leaman (Canada address), ran an auction for a Peppermint
Princess Barbie that closed on 10/23/99. I sent him/her a money order in
the amount of $42.50 on 10/25/99. I have yet to receive my Barbie. I also
requested a refund and have not received any response from this person. Please
beware when you come across any of this person's auctions.

I 'won' a bid on yahoo for Peruvian Barbie on an auction that closed September
3, 1999. As so many others have done, I mailed a M.O. for $47.00 to this
scoundrel (leamanr@yahoo.com, Raymonde Leaman, same Bathurst address)and
have to date (DEC.23, 1999)not received my item. Raymonde even gave the same
lame excuses that she has given others blaming it on how slow the mail is.
What I don't understand, after researching all the comments and all the
information that has been given by SO MANY others, is how this person is
still continuing to operate. These comments go back to June1999. It is DEC
99. 6 months of scams = HIGH DOLLAR!!!!! Please help stop this person! At
least she was booted off a couple of auction/trading zones, but why don't
EBAY and YAHOO do the same? Fair warning to all and a lesson well learned:
Research before you bid.

I am sorry to say , but I too, have scammed by this lady on Yahoo auctions.
I made the mistake of not checking the feedbacks posted until after I had
sent almost 40.00 Canadian to this person. This auction ended November 12
and was for Magic the Dragon Beanie Baby. I have been assured that it is
in the mail from Raymonde, but , like many others have received nothing.
I cannot believe that Yahoo, and Beanie Nation let someone with the reputation
this lady has keep selling....????? For me , this has been a hard lesson
to learn. JoAnne Clauson.

Paid her $59.80, for a Parka, on a Yahoo auction. She told me the the Parka had been sent. My check has been paid by my bank, and she acknowledged in feedback, that she had received my money. She is notorious for taking money and not sending merchandise. I have reported her to the "RCMP", Jeff Adams (506-452-3475) who have an extensive file on her, to "Nintendo", criminal Investigations, for selling counterfeit Pokeman cards, to the "Federal Postal Inspectors", mail fraud division, to "Safe Harbour" at ebay, to her server "nbnet.nb.ca" for improper use, to "yahoo" for stealing money from bidders, to the "FBI", for internet fraud. I really don't expect to ever get my money back, so I'm trying to get my money's worth. If you can help, I'd really appreciate it. Thank You Very Much!!! Pat Reichert
Well folks, she must be getting tired of Beanie Babies, good news for
us, BAD NEWS for "Pokemon" collectors. She is now selling counterfit Pokeman
cards on "YAHOO".If you have been scammed in any way, paid for Merchandise
and didn't get it, didn't get what you paid for, or didn't get paid for what
you sent her.... CONTACT Corp. Phil Roy of the Canadian Police at 1-506-548-0420,
and refer to file#5349 (although you really don't have to, they know who
she is).

I also got ripped off by this CROOK. I won and auction in Nov. 1999 for
a polly pocket village and sent $20.99 and of course I got the same lame
excuses for not getting my item..."I got behind because of Christmas". "I
sent it out". Then I asked for a refund and "Raymonde" says, "I'll check
my budget" and after that "Raymonde" says "I sent it a while ago" WHATEVER!!!!!!!
Now I'm just waiting for some type of justice here..

I'm contacting you so you can update your file on RAYMONDE LEAMAN from Canada. She's back at work stealing on yahoo under the I.D. justforyou88776
http://ratings.auctions.yahoo.com/show/rating?userID=justforyou88776&
I won an auction from Raymonde on April 28th, mailed payment April 29th. Raymonde confirmed receipt of my payment in my feedback and also contacted me to say the jacket would be mailed on or before May 12th. I have yet to receive the shipment and have since found her past I.D.'s and scam information. I highly doubt she mailed or even intends to mail my win as I have listed all the information I have found on her in her feedback. The current email for Raymonde on Yahoo is justforyou2000@email.com
She is also selling on Ebay under the id rc*boy http://cgi2.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewFeedback&userid=rc*boy
Raymonde has sent 2 bad checks for payment on auctions wins on the Ebay
site and caused sellers fees for her bad checks, never making good on them.
Please update your file on Raymonde Leaman. Thanks Heather

Just to let you know, I received a refund from Raymonde Leaman today in the amount of $8 US dollars. It just about covered the cost of the money order, money order fee and postage to send the initial payment to her.I have not even tried to figure out what the heck she was thinking as I have had no contact with her since I inquired about the jacket at the end of May. I was lead to believe that she had mailed it by 5/12 as she promised, however, it is clear that was not the case. I emailed her on 5/23 asking when to expect it. Her reply on 5/24 was "Good morning at time it can take 2 to 3 weeks., that is on a bad week., Please let me know when the package arrives., thanks RAy"
Would you not assume that she had mailed it? I did, nonetheless, I have
my refund. The postmark reads Bathurst 01V12000=6 NB. Best wishes on
a refund to the rest of Raymonde's buyers! ~Heather

saw your name on one of the sites detailing the nefarious doings of above
person, saying to contact you regarding complaints/theft perpetrated by same
- so here goes -first, you can read my complaints on yahoo feedback for
'justforyou88776' - i also have already today filed complaints with IFCC
and FTC and will try to contact RCMP and Bathurst constabulary tomorrow (lost
my PC phone ID and cannot get til then)-now for 'details' - back in April
this year (4/19-4/28) i won a multitude of auctions by this person, totalling
$134.74, for which i sent 2 personal checks ($107.54 & $27.20); both
checks posted back to my acct 5/9 & 5/16 and which i now have in my
possession - and of course i never rcv'd my items, nor has he/she bothered
to respond to any e-mails since intital contacts stating totals due and address
to send to - i e-mailed again this week (i believe on the 12th) requesting
status of order and again, no response. when i tried to e-mail again today
(justforyou2000@email.com) it was rtn'd as 'undeliverable... IP 204.127.131.50
blacklisted' - i then proceeded to forward my letter again, this time using
every e-mail address/alias listed on the caNadian bad traders list, all came
back to me with exception of 'rrjjns@nbnet.nb.ca' (guess only 'old' one still
usable!) - god knows how many other aliases there are - tho i do not expect
response to this letter either. i no longer want the items 'won' (teenie
beanies, etc) but i would like to get money back as i am on disability and
trying to open e-biz and, frankly, would not trust anything from this person
to be authentic - but i AM more than willing to press charges, esp if i can
get in touch w/more 'victims' to file together so we can reach enough $$
stolen for felony charge rather than misdemeanor -please feel free to contact
me if you need any more info -thanx -shelly

N.B. woman admits to Beanie Baby fraud
BATHURST, N.B. (CP) - A grim-faced New Brunswick woman pleaded guilty in provincial court Tuesday to defrauding would-be Internet buyers of Beanie Babies, the much-coveted plush toys.
In 1999, police started getting angry complaints that
Raymonde Leaman, of Bathurst,
was selling Beanie Babies for upwards of $500 US per toy through an Internet
auction site - but not delivering the goods.

Here's her new email...now she's breeding dogs, watch out, don't buy any
pure breeds from Canada. I still want my money back, how about you?
I think we should all email her, and demand our money back.
