I am sorry to have to report a Bad Trader to you....but feel I have no other choice. It wasn't until I saw another post on Richard & Pete's board (P & R Daily)....that I realized that I wasn't alone with this situation...and that others were also experiencing problems with receiving their ends of the trades. Here is the info I have for you. The person's name that I am currently in trade transactions with, and hense have problems with getting replies from....or my part of the trade from is:

Her and I embarked on our first trade on: July 3rd, 2001.  We had agreed to send out our trade items together....... We then had agreed to become consistant trading partners on that same day. Shortly after agreeing to the first trade, we embarked on our second trade. She received her items from me in quick time....but I was left waiting weeks for my items. She told me that they were having problems with "Strikes" over there in the UK....and that she would check with her post office to see if my parcel had even gone out yet. She then checked...and said that it had been sitting there yet at the post office, but was on it's way. In the meantime, I received the first of the two parcels....and then a week later, the second one arrived. Noticing on the postage of her parcel though, that it had NOT gone out when she had said...but weeks later. Believing her, and that there possibly was truth to what she was saying about the strikes....I embarked on a third trade with Becca (the name she also goes by)....and had sent off a beanie that she agreed to send me $30 for, tucked in with the Strawberry Pooh, Watermellon Pooh, It's a Boy/Girl Poohs......none of which I have received....and she stated that she had sent off the parcel on August 3rd. We've been in contact up til the 9th of August....and that is the last I have heard from her. She had received my end of the trade prior to her haulting communication completely. I have emailed her numerous times.....to no avail. She won't respond.....I have emailed her everyday....several times....and no response. When I read the post from Irina on the P & R Daily Talk Board, I knew that I may also be caught in a scam....and not ever see my beanies that are owed to me from Rebecca (Irina has had others contact her ( a gal from Canada ) that claims SHE has not gotten her trade items, or getting responses from Rebecca.)

I'm not sure where to turn from here......And thought you should be aware....so that OTHERS like myself are not taken advantage with......she is obviously still around.....since Irina states that she has ongoing auctions on Yahoo. Thanks for finally getting back with me.

Becca (Rebecca) has been in contact with us (myself, and the others involved in trades with her).....but none of us have YET to receive our items. She SAYS that they went out, when she stated they did....and says that there are Postal Strikes in the 'Sorting Departments' in her post office in the Uk---what truth there is to that...I don't know. I sent along a Born To Bounce Tigger, that she had inquired to me about...and if I had one, and if I would sell it to her. I told her I did, and that I would need $30 for him (since that was the last price we saw for him on an ebay auction, at THAT time).....She agreed that she would love to have him and would get the $30 US currency, and tuck in with one of the 4 Poohs she had coming to me.

Born To Bounce Tigger went over with US Lovebug Pooh, Lovebug Eeyore.
March Tigger had gone in the very FIRST trade to Becca.
The next was the Born To Bounce Tigger Parcel.
The next was Leo Pooh and July Tigger.

Let me know if you need further info.  Thanks for any help you can offer.  Will keep you posted if anything arrives in the meantime. My thoughts are leaning towards ...IF she sent them...she sent them economy...or by BOAT...and not AIRMAIL????  But I don't even know if she really sent them, or not.   Deb

Her idea of resolution is by emailing me and stating that the beanies are on their way. My idea of resolution is when the beanies due me are "in hand".  Will keep you posted.

I did an initial small trade with this lady which was successful. I mailed out to her on July 5th and she received the parcel on July 10th. She shipped to me on July 6th and I received my parcel on July 12th. No problems at all initially. A second and third trade were then arranged. I mailed out part of my second trade (a UK Valentine Zip-Up Heart Pooh) on July 23rd, 2001. She was to mail to me a UK Watermelon Pooh and UK Strawberry Pooh. To date I have received no parcel and I have received no communication from this lady since August 5th. At that time Becca told me this: " I have been having terrible prob with post at this end at the min...some of my parcels have been taking over 4 weeks to get to there destination.. It appears we have a strike at my local sorting office. " Apparently, there is no such postal strike in the UK. A beanie friend of mine who is also having problems with Becca did some research with the aid of some of her very excellent trading partners in the UK and have found out that there has been no postal disruptions ANYWHERE in the UK over the past couple of months. I know of other traders who have experienced the same bad treatment and poor communication and they too are still waiting for their beanies she owes them. My main concerns with this trader are as follows:

1) She has failed to answer any of my e-mails since August 5th, 2001. I have emailed her numerous times trying to resolve this issue so I wouldn't have to leave negative feedback for her.
2) She refuses to tell me the exact date my parcel was shipped and by which method.
3) She has not emailed me to let me know if she has received the parcel I shipped her on July 23rd
4) I have not received the Watermelon and Strawberry Poohs to date. I have a strong feeling that she has failed to send me her end of the our trade.    Sincerely, Judy Mucklow Canada

Latest email from Becca states that she is sending me back the beanie she was SUPPOSE to be paying me $30 for!!! Like how she has had it in her posession for a month...and now decides not to pay up. Also....I went to Yahoo to look up listings of items she owes me, that I now have to look elsewhere for.....and lo' and behold---she has them NEWLY listed now on Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  How can she be stopped?   I am so upset with this.....  Deb

Deb Peter from USA has forwarded your email address to me as we and a few others are all having trouble with Becca from the UK.

My first trade with her some time in the beginning of July went just fine except that looking at the postage stamp on her package I knew she sent it much later than agree and waited till she received mine before she mailed hers, since she was interested in some other beanies that I had we arranged another trade which I mailed on 17 Jul by registered airmail and she said she was mailing hers on the same day too, she had received my end pretty fast and after about 10 days and still no package with Indian Pooh/Eeyore from her I emailed her and she told me that she will check with her post office, she got back to me the next day saying that her post office was on strike and they were for the past 3 weeks so my package "is just sitting there" and she was mailing the 3rd trade out which was supposed to be watermelon/strawberry Pooh for 2 of my beanies, she confirmed that has mailed it on that day and that I should receive it soon. I could not make it to the post office at that time so I told her I will be sending the 3rd trade out some time the next week but after receiving nothing from her I decided against sending it till I get something from her first and emailed Becca to tell her that and also to let her know that there is still nothing from her, that was some time around 12-14 Aug if I am not wrong, I have received no replies to any of my emails sent to her in the next couple of days after that so I decided to post a message on the P&R talk board and subsequently one more on the trade board trying to find out if there was anyone who has heard or traded with Becca and 5 people have emailed me and they were all in the same situation - waiting for the beanies Becca owed them. We decided to contact Nancy's of C&C and she emailed Becca, the next day Becca emailed me saying her phone line was not working and the repaireman could not come until a week later to fix it and she still insisted that she mailed all the previous packages and she doesn't know why we have not received anything from her, so she said she will send me the replacement beanies, I have also seen her post on the talk board that day where she said she was sending me out a replacement package the next day which was about 11 days ago, when nothing came last week I emailed Becca again and she tells me that she did not mail it because she was waiting to hear back from me since she could not replace one of the beanies she owed me (she did not email me to tell me that so she was just lying again, all I saw was that post on the board saying that replacement package was going out to me). I told her to get me the yesterday's Sleeping Pooh then, she agreed and said she will mail on Tuesday, but later I got another email from her saying that she might not be able to go out on Tuesday as her sink was broken and the repairman could finally make it to her place on Tuesday... so she said she will email me again to Wednesday to let me know the tracking number of the package (it is just early morning now here so will see if she does email me anything by tomorrow).

That is about it so far, I will keep you informed if I hear from her.   Thank you,    Irina

Just as I have expected I never received any email from Becca to confirm that she mailed the beanies and the tracking infoa, guess she must have had another "broken sink" or "spoilt phone line" accident.  I will keep you informed if I hear back from her but I am sure she will just give another excuse.  Thanks,    Irina

Just as expected I have received nothing from Rebecca Daily from UK, she did keep in contact in the past week or so and the last time I heard from her she said she was going out to the DS and to mail the beanies to me and was going to email me the tracking number after she is back, guess she never came back!?!? I emailed her and told her to get back to me by 31 Aug but of course she never did, I am not sure if anyone at all can get through to that lady and make her send us what she owes, she thinks that she can get away with just about anything. I am not going to wait any longer and going to post negative feedback so that at least other traders won't fall into her trap. Please let me know how to proceed with posting negative feedback for her as I am tired of waiting from 17 July until now. BTW, there are more people posting negatives on Yahoo auctions as well, apparently they sent her the payment and never received the items paid for: http://ratings.auctions.yahoo.com/uk/show/rating?userID=magicmobiles    but she is still listing new beanies for sale.  Has she ever got back to you at all?   Regards,   Irina

I understand that you have received a complaint from Judy Mucklow (mucklow@sympatico.ca) and quite possibly a few other traders regarding the trading practices of the above trader. I too have been having problems securing my end of the trade from:

Since our agreed trade on July 15, 2001, I have to this date, September1st, 2001, not received her end of the trade. I've outlined the time frame as to the dishonest trading practices of this individual:
July 15/01 - She answered my ad whereby I was looking for the UK Indian Set (Pooh, Piglet, Tigger & Eeyore)
July 15/01 - Both agreed to trade - she provided the UK Indian set plus UK Bandleader Pooh and I trade her 5 TY beanies (Issy 'San Francisco', Shamrock, Dearest, '99Holiday Teddy and TY2K) plus we both agreed to mail Wednesday, July 18/01.
July 18/0l - I confirmed with Becca that my package was sent off in mail to her and she also confirmed as well.
July 29/01 - E-mailed Becca to inquire if my package received at her end and let her know I hadn't received hers yet.
July 29/01 - Becca e-mailed back to say she had received my package and that she had "computer problems".
Aug. 3/01 - E-mailed Becca to let her know her package still not yet received but willing to give another week.
Aug. 12/01 - E-mailed her again as her package still not yet received.
Aug. 14/01 - E-mailed her yet again looking for my package and draw her attention to the fact that there were other traders having problems with her trading practices. Did not answer my e-mails.
Aug. 20/01 - Finally answered my e-mail and stated she was unable to replace "missing Disney beanies". I therefore asked her to return my 5 TY beanies via air mail with delivery confirmation and provide me with tracking number. She answered same day stating she would mail out the 5 TY beanies on Tuesday, August 21/0l. To this date, she did not confirm she had mailed off the 5 beanies, did not provide any tracking number and no beanies have been received. Should you require copies of any e-mails pertaining to the facts above, I will gladly provide them to you. Many thanks and look forward to hearing from you. Gail Eddisford (Canada)

Becca claims to have mailed a parcel to me on August 2nd, 2001 containing Watermelon and Strawberry Poohs. To date I have not received them from her. She did admit to receiving a parcel that I sent to her. I emailed Becca and told her that I expected her to return my UK Zip Up Heart Pooh as I had not received her end of the trade. I gave her a deadline of August 31st, 2001 to have my beanie returned to me. I asked her to send my beanie back using a traceable way so that I could see where the package was. She has not returned my emails at all lately and she has not provided me with a tracking number either. I have already submitted an initial bad traders report on Rebecca Daily AKA (Becca) with Pat and Trudy at Traderslist.com and Nancy at Creations and Celebrations. I feel that Becca has given me no recourse but to email you at C & C and Traderslist.com again and lodge a further complaint about this lady's very poor trading practices. I know there are several other traders who have had problems with this lady and I have copied them on this email too. Please post this lady as a bad trader so that other honest and fair traders don't loose their beanies to her.

: Rebecca Daily contacted me after I lost an auction on EBay. I checked her references on Yahoo and EBay (jelliebaby_78) and decided to take a chance. Fortunately I didn't take her up on her oyther offers. There were lots of friendly e mails until my cheque cleared but the Pooh Bear has never materialised. She has continued to ignore my e mails and a recorded delivery letter that I sent. Interestingly she now has negative feedback on Ebay.
