Sorry to bother you again but I have had some trouble with a seller who has now been suspended from Ebay.I won a Dozen beanies from him on the 18th Feb,he had some others I agreed to purchase also.As he had only 5 feedback he agreed that he would ship first.I heard nothing for a while and then when i mailed him he claimed he had been out of town and that his fiance was not happy about shipping first.I agreed that I would sned half the payment to him and then the rest on arrival of the beanies.I sent him $212 via Bidpay.He has had this payment since the 10th March,I have had various excuses as to why parcel has not arrived,I have now requeted a full refund and that he contacts me within 24hrs to confrim this,or else I will take further action.I sent the payment to:

I have a PS 1685 form to fill in regarding mail fraud and have spoken to the regional postal inspector in PA today.Unfortunately because of al lthe delays by him the 45 day limit has expired in ebay and also I won only 1dozen from him on auctions and agreed an additional purchase off auction so I am not covered by insurance.I have -emailed him twice now stating that I want a refund and that If I do not hear anything within 24hrs then I will proceed with reports etc.This deadline has expired.Thanks for your help again,it is so sad that in the space of 6 months I have had to ask for your help twice,there are obiously alot more dishonest people out there than I ever imagined.I will keep you posted, Regards, Kate  Windymiller

I saw your posting on Robyn Griggs on the bad trader list. She almost got me for a lot of money also. She had some Germania beanies for sale on Metaexchange. I sent the money but got only excuses in return. When I threatened to file fraud charges, she sent most of my money back. I'm still waiting for the rest of it. Here is some email addresses she uses. Hi, I was given your name as a contact from fraud. I sent an individual a money order for the amount of $144.55 for beanie babies on June 13th. It was cashed on June 16th but I have received nothing. the last person that was refunded was cheryl meney and ironically i received the proof that the check was cashed here, the number on the check is 409 issued from farmers first bank, dated 6-7-00, in the amount of $108.08 and I got in touch with patty finally, the problem was my e-mail was down, so everything there has been squared away. i would appreciate it if my name was removed.

Just an update regarding Robyn Griggs. Today, July 5th, I received a letter with a POSTDATED check dating July 15th. asking that I "deposit it on that date to avoid any problems" because she "has been on vacation" and will "return on July 15th". I have deposited the check, but expect it to be returned for insufficient funds. Have filled a form with the Mail Fraud Division in New Jersey who handles Lancaster and have filled a form with the Fraud Division in D.C. I have also contacted the State Police in Lancaster and was advised to file the report with Maryland State Police and they will contact Pennsylvania. I plan to do that. Patty

I have filed charges against Robyn Griggs with the National Fraud Information Center and the Internet Fraud Complaint Center. Her local police jurisdiction is the one in Manheim, PA. Other than the note above, I have not heard from the other party since 6/12/00 when she stated that my refund check had been placed in the mail. It is now the 7/11 and I have not received the check. I was put off for months by her stating they should be recieved by her "soon". I was checking with her every couple of weeks. On three different occasions she stated that she had sent a paper to me stating that I would receive a full refund if not delovered my June 10, 2000. I verified my address with her on 5/1/00. I contact SquareTrade on 5/20/00 to inform them that I thought I might be being scammed. On 5/23/00 the seller told me that the items should be there any day. I finally got a message from her on 6/6/00 stating that she was issuing refunds (I wonder how many other people were involved?). On 6/12/00 I received a message from her that the checks had been mailed that day. I attempted to verify that the check actually got mailed. I have sent 3 messages since hearing from her last with no response.  Feedback for this account was good.I would appreciate some help getting my $ 311 back from this person. I Bid on 2 different auctions on Ebay June18. I sent her a mo for $220 on June 20. that night I see a posting for her on your site. We have been going back and forth since then. I have asked for the buddys or my $ back on more than 1 occasion and have received nothing. I did file claim w/ safe harbor but have not mailed my form as yet. I would like to get all my $ back. Auctions were #359158259& 359156069 on ebay she was so accommodating  she even included shipping because I won 2 auctions. Heres the kicker. Yesterday I again bid on a dutch for germania buddys. Before I would do anything I email the person and asked for name,phone, and address.He mails me back # which was the same one Roybn used which was no good. and his name is Ray Schwartz, their in cahoots, no way am I sending $. They never answer all your ? either, why didn't he give me an address. Would appreciate anything, I just want my $ back, this has been a nightmare, and what a learning experience. This other weeping email you have I believe goes to her at another auction site upforbid.com or something like that, these 2 are doing these auctions on ebay and collectingnation too. I have sent money to this individual for a Sakura Beanie and have not received the Sakura Beanie. Once the money has been sent this individual nolonger replies to any e-mail.  Her name is Theresa and she lives in New York. The telephone number she provided (212) 352-9234 does not work.  She also has had several pre-sales for the Sakura Buddie. Since she is not replying to the Sakura Beanie sale, I have to assume that the Sakura Buddie pre-sale is also a fake.

I received a money order today for $147.00. I would like to thank you and your organization for your assistance. This covers both of my orders with her. Just for your information, one of my orders to Robyn was for a pre-sale of a Sakura buddie. She stated if not delivered by October, she would refund the money. She had several pre-sales on E-bay. There are many people who bid who have never heard of Badtraders web site. So don't be surprised if you start getting more complaints as time goes by. Thanks again for your help. Robyn Griggs is one of the biggest lyers and crooks to ever walk this earth. At t ebegiining of May I won an auction with this woman for 1 x sakura beanie. After numerous emails from me I finally got a reponase when I said I had gone to Elf Trudy. That was at the beggining of July, August 6th, she says she will send me a m/o for $70.00 and a small bonus for my troubles, after 4 emails to her and more excuses than I count from her (the money order has been delayed by the bank because the cheque was out of state , I havent had a chance to get there and "I am still waiting on the cheque to clear"). I AM STILL WAITING ROBYN!!   Do not deal with this person under any circumstances.

i was involved with an auction on yahoo with robyn griggs on 8/23/00 for 2 germania beanie bears for 63.55 I mailed her my check on 8/25/00 and heard nothing more from her until i emailed her 9/5/00 asking if she received my payment... she replyed that she would go to her PO box the next day and check and get back with me the next evening! I heard nothing from her and began to wonder if something was up... so on 9/7 i called my bank to put a stop payment on the check and it had already been processed on the 5th! so i was mad and emailed her and she replyed that it was a big mess up and would send the bears promptly and was so sorry for the inconvenience! well that is when i found your site and saw how many complaints that are against her and I knew then that she was scamming people! her name on yahoo is raymie73 and she uses RAYMIE73@yahoo.com and weeping@concentric.net. Upon winning this auction I wasn't too concerned, they had 8 pos f/b & no negs. Then I emailed her to see if she'd rec'd my payment & heard nothing. I checked back on Yahoo to check out her f/b to see if something had come up & it sure did, she had 6 neg f/b in the last week. Then I came here to the traderlist & found numerous posts about her. I emailed her again telling her I was concerned about all the neg f/b. I asked her nicely to either send the beanie or refund my money via paypal. I still have heard nothing. Originally the feedback for this seller on Yahoo was positive when I won an auction for 12 Erins. I sent my payment of $96.65, the check cleared and that was the last I heard from the seller. E-Bay auction 386638748, dutch auction for 12 Sakura Beanie Babies (ended July 22). I bid and won 6. Auction was being offered by ebay id xmas007, good rating then, with an e-mail address of lucky0028@excite.com. The mailing address given to send payment was Ray Schwartz, 2747 Brookfield Rd., Lancaster, PA 17601. I ended up sending payment via PayPal.com to lucky0028.com for $514.85 for the 6 Sakura's. So as usual and after many weeks of promises and promises, nothing ever showed up. After threatening to take action, I then get an e-mail from Robyn Theresa Griggs at reggie245@hotmail.com (add this one to you bad list - you currently have reggie345@hotmail.com) who states that they are going out of business and that as soon as they sell some of their current inventory, I would get repaid. So over the next two weeks, I get 3 payments from Robyn via PayPal.com for a total of $30.00 then it all stops. I looked on paypal.com and the id she is using there is reggie245@hotmail.com and it shows it is a verified user! After a few more weeks, she asks if I would take Germania Buddies in exchange of the rest of the payment. I said I would, and that I valued the Germania Buddies at $90 each. After another two weeks, I still have not gotten a reply. So I am turning to you for help. No that Robyn is a verified user on paypal, is there a way I can get my money back from the paypal guarantee? I have all e-mails and paypal documentation. The Ray Schwartz address seems to also be a new address that you do not have listed on the bad trader list. Why is Robyn not in Jail?? She must be the biggest scammer on the internet. Won some Sakura's on e-bay for $514, weeks and weeks later, have only been able to recover $30. The Ray Schwartz address given 2747 Brookfield Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601 is different from other post here on this board. This seller ran an auction for Germania Buddies on Yahoo and has never provided the buddies after payment was received. I sent $225.00 and have had every excuse in the book why they have not been sent and now why she can't give a refund. I checked her feedback on Yahoo, and it was limited but good. I have since read pages of bad feedback regarding this seller and all of her alias's.

I was one of the unlucky winners of her auction for Germania buddies on yahoo (auction # 37826350) on August 23, 2000. Feedback was limited but good at the time. Send payment thru paypal of $73.60 on August 26. Have not received buddie or refund, even tho' she has promised several times. Well, I paid her and still haven't received anything. I email her weekly and she says I will pay you next week, the week comes and no payment, then she says a check went out and then she says the check was lost in the mail, her biggest excuse if that she has someone steal her life savings and that is why she is behind on refunds. I see on the caution list boards there are many complaints by other people and when I saw those I decided to file a Postal Fraud form with USPS. I sent her a postal money order in September for a Germania Beanie Baby and have had nothing but excuses from her for it not being sent. She promises but never delivers and I'm sick of the whole business. I think she must have a bit of success with people just tiring of her excuses and letting the matter drop while she walks off with their money. I'm not even so concerned about the money but I hate seeing people like this get away with it. I did get a complaint form from the Post Office but I didn't fill it out yet. I'm writing to you in regards to a transaction I had with Robyn Griggs. I have upheld my part of the deal, but she has not.On 9/11/00 I sent her a check in the amount of $29.54 for a Germania beanie. The check cleared my credit union on 9/20/00.

On 10/22/00 I sent her an e-mail asking her what the status was on my order. I told her that in the interim I had seen her name on the bad traders list and would be taking action to add my complaint. On 10/25/00 she responded that she would get my package out "ASAP."

On 10/26/00 I e-mailed her to be more specific than "ASAP." On 10/27/00 she responded that my package "should be there early next week. It already went out."

On 11/2/00 I asked her for a shipping confirmation number, as the package had not yet arrived. She responded on 11/3/00 that she would be at her office on Monday and would give me the tracking info, etc. She added "hopefully it already is there by then though." I don't expect that she will be contacting me with shipping info because she has no intention of sending my beanie.  Her current e-mail address is bforever1@excite.com  I would appreciate any advice and help you could give me.  Thanks,   Rosemary Leeb

I won her auction for 3 Ty Germania Beanie Babies (Auction #37530577 ~ Yahoo Auctions) on August 20th and sent payment on August 25th 2000. After several weeks past and I didn't hear whether she had received my payment (MONEY ORDER) or not, I contacted her and was told payment was received and cashed and the bears would be on their way. After another week or so, I wrote her again and she said that they were on their way. I wrote her other email address that I found on this website and was told she would make sure they went out. She had already said they were on their way and was now saying she'd make sure they were sent! I knew I was in trouble. Funny thing is someone had emailed me after I won and warned me about her. Silly me for trusting her when she said I could. Well, it has now been almost 3 months and NO BEARS & NO REFUND. I get promise after promise that my refund is on it's way but it never is. I won a bid on Yahoo for a Germania Bear and sent a U.S. Postal money order. Each week I emailed Robin and each week she lied to me about sending the bear. One time she even told me she sent a surprise beanie with it. As of today, she no longer responds to my emails becuase I let her know I filed a claim against her with the government. PEOPLE BEWARE, THIS PERSON IS A FRAUD! She has no intention of returning my money or my merchandise. She owes me $34.00, yes others have been scammed out of more, but that is $34.00 I could have to buy something for one of my children for Christmas! I have repeatedly tried and tried to settle this transaction and simply get my money back since the promised shipment was never delivered. It was promised to be shipped 2 day ups and it never arrived. Later RAYMOND SCHWARTZ as he calles himself. said to wait another day and then another day and another....still no package. The he promised that all his items are guaranteed to be delivered and to wait almost another week because he was going ot overnight another one. BUT AGAIN I NEVER RECIEVED THIS PACKAGE....He refused to offer shipping info. and a tracking # and never made good on any of his promises........

We agreed that if the package was not delivered by wed of the same week he would give me a full refund and that was my final decision. HE AGEED and since it was never delivered he promised a refund. I sent him a payment request and he sent an echeck. THAT DID NOT CLEAR........

I ordered a playstation 2 with a game from Ray Schwartz in Pennsylvania. He promised delivery within 7 days. This was through the bidville.com site. The payment was made through ecount.com with my credit card on the 23rd of February. Here we are on March 6th, still with no playstation or game. He keeps promising me that he will fix this and telling me we should wait one more day to see if the package arrives. Well I tried to purchase a playstion 2 online from a auction site at bidville.com I emailed the person and set up to purchase 2 of them for $350.00 Well no sooner did I send the money he got a negative feedback from a person who claimed he never sent them there merchandise and to go to traderlist.com to check them out, well I did and man they meaning there are two of them have a scam sheet with traderlist a mile long. And after seeing that well I got jumpy. I emailed the guy and told him if I dont getmy money back or get the merchandise by march 21st at 3:30 pm I will take action. Now please can I do this, can I contact the police department where he live and go there and press charges???Will they let me. Should I contact my police department to file charges??? I know the first thing I will do is go to the post office to file a mail fraud report on him, how much really can the police do, I have no problem going to his town to file charges, please if there are any steps I am missing let me know.  Thanks,   Jeff.

Received refund check from Ray on April 2 with note from Robyn asking not to deposit it until April 7 and saying she was glad they had gotten the matter resolved. Cashed check April 7, today is April 12, received a call from my bank saying the FUNDS WERE NOT IN HIS ACCOUNT. Check is being sent throught again on the SLIGHT chance that they will but the funds in. THEY KNOWNINGLY WROTE A BAD CHECK. These people are continually SCAMING PEOPLE and WRITING BAD CHECKS. I just received a call from my bank that the check I resubmitted to them last Thursday for the funds that was sent to me by Ray Schwartz and Robyn Griggs has come back and that his account is frozen. According to traderlist the only thing I haven't done is contact the post office to file mail fraud. I am on my way now. I have talked to the police in my township. I have also called the det. in Lancaster and he told me that they had run into some problems and were trying to make good. Yea,right.I have been trying for two months to either get the playstation 2 or my money. Right now all I really want is the money because we went ahead and bought my son one from a friend of his who had won one in a raffle. Also when I talked to the detective in Lancaster he said that if I wanted to press charges for a bad check that I would have to come to Lancaster. Lancaster happens to be an eight hour drive from where I live. I asked him what was taking so long to stop or arrest these people. According to Ray's reply to the complaints posted, all refund have been sent. I am still waiting to receive mine.When I get done dealing with the lemon law in my state over an auto I will then proceed to press charges against these people.Hopefully they aren't still taking people.
