I need some investigated for not fulfulling a auction transaction. I bought full set if beanie kids from Shannon Topel and I have not gotten my BK. Her e-mail address does not got through. e-mail address is topel@minot.com (Shannon Topel).

If you could help me that would be greatly appreciated. I paid $185 for the BK. Thanks so much Gina Douet

I finally recieved a message from Shannon Topel. She said she assumed I recieved my order that's why she never got in touch with me. Yes, she did change her e-mail address. She thinks my order got lost in the mail and she will try to track it down. She will not stand by the order to fulfil it. So I guess I'm out $185. Is there anything else I can do. Shannon Topel's new e-mail address, topel@srtnet.com. I'm not getting anywheres with her. She sent me an e-mail today that I refused her help to track down my order, but today I sent her e-mail to investigate it. My experience in tracking down mail has been unsuccessful. Thanks gina

Well, I do not know who died and made you the trading queen. It is ALWAYS the buyers responsibilty to pay for insurance and delivery confirmation. They are always optional, Gina decided not to purchase either. I visited at lengths with the Postal claims inspector here in Minot today and she stated that it the responsibility of both parties to insure that the items are received and received in good order. That is why insure is offered on every package that is metered. It was offered when I shipped, but since it had not been paid for...I refused it. Since I was not going to give her insurance for free, she should have paid for it.I have excellent feedback on Ebay and the fact that you just decide to add names to your list without confirming both sides shocks me. Not only do I intend on pursuing you for slander, but due to Gina's threatening and abusive emails, I have advised her to contact whatever legal parties she deems necessary as I refuse to deal with her further. In fact, I will happily provide her with any local law enforcement number she wants. I have nothing to hide and obviously I am not ducking anyone or simply not replying. I will not sit back quietly while you run my name through the dirt. I have spent over 2 years building my feedback and would not throw it away over $185! Out of the 73 sets that we presold it amazes me why I would ship all of them but hers? I can certainly provide the names of the dealers we bought from. Afterall, why would I buy 73 sets and then not ship them. I am comfortable that I can prove beyond doubt that I DID mail her items. The fact that they were lost, damaged, or the address was seperated from the items making them undeliverable is her liability, not mine. Once they have been mailed, I am not responsible...unless they are delivered with damaged tags, as we tag protect everything before mailing and any damage would have been from prioir to shipping. I offered to place a trace (postal form 1510) on her package to see where they are, but she refused! Boy, if that doesn't make you wonder. What proof do you have that she did not receive them and simply wants her money back? Lady, all I can say to you is you best get the facts straight before you start pointing your finger. I changed my email on June 6 and for 30 days it was available to anyone on Ebay that used my old email. So for thirty days I was more than easy to reach. In fact, Gina has my home phone number. I am there M-F after 5:30PM....she could have picked up the phone anytime. I am not a fraud, bad trader, or whatever the flavor of the month is that you are calling people. I will be contacting your webmaster that supports your webpage, beaniemom, and my attorney. This is wrong and unfair and I am done with you both. You can point your finger elsewhere.  Shannon

I got contacted by shannon toppel in Jan of 2000. This was for the sale of 2 sets of the 9 beanie kids at a price of $160.00 a set which i sent $160.00 to her with the remainder to be paid when the other set would be available by june 30th 2000. She faled to contact me so I wrote her a email on July 2nd asking for a refund. She got bent out of shape and demanded i pay for the other half of the payment I told her no way because she failed to contact me. She has used 3 emails since jan that i know of. She claimed she was on vacation then she said her computer was being updated. I told her i dont care about that and if she had 1 set whch i paid for i wold except that she kept demanding the other half and claimed i terminated the deal by nt sending any more money. This lady is a scam artist. I have a mail frau complaint going against her and if that dont work Ill file with the states attorney of N.D. I am also in touch with Gina who also got scamed. If you like I willsend you all the emails and nasty ones at that . Her current name on ebay is tbonestang boy thats a winner i know she had some steakswith my money. I had the misfortune of running into Shannon Topel Consultant for the Longaberger Company just a couple of weeks ago. I found out she was selling current line items on Ebay even BEFORE they became available to the public. I very impulseable bid and won her auction so I could turn her into Longaberger for violation of her contract. She turned on me and had me kicked of Ebay (been reinstated since) and then she turns my name into every PORN site you can imagine and some you wouldn't want to imagine.. This is a very lonely desparte woman to do these things but she has to be stopped. This is a very good "fourm" for good honest people just like ourselfs to have a sounding board against people like Shannon Topel. Just wanted to pass on that Shannon Topel from Minot ND Airforce Base has a new name on Ebay. IT's uw4ydoac@hotmail.com she's had this once since 1998 but the name has been changed. I suspect she has a couple more and when I find out for sure I'll post it. Thank you

BEWARE OF SHANNON TOPEL I purchased an outfit from this seller under the selling name of basket barn (althugh she has 8 user Ids ) and I left a positive feedback comment stating that "the shipping was not fast, but the mdse. was good, will buy again and this woman wrote me an angry, nasty email. Not only that but she has written me 5 more in the span of 24 hours. The shipping was slow, I purchased several outfits 3-4 days after I purchased hers and her package arrived days after the others. I had to contact her to even find out if she had mailed the package. She is now irate because I responded to one of her emails by telling her she needed medication. She has found out that both of our spouses are military and now threatening to contact my husband's boss, because my husband is an Officer and according to Shannon, I am not conducting myself in the manner expected for an Officer's wife. I am totally blown away by this lady. I am seriously concerned that something could be wrong with her, especially since I found that this behavior occurs often for her. I reported her to Ebay for sending me numerous threatening emails. This is just too weird, I have never seen anything like it in my life. Be careful who you buy from.

I wanted to add yet another email addy she is using to sell on ebay. I bought 3 auctions from her on ebay and she relisted them and sold to someone else. I finally got a refund from her, but only after a bunch of harassing emails. this woman is nuts!

I sold some clothing to Rhonda Pasibe, she paid for her items on August 1 (Friday) and they were mailed on August 4 (Monday). She received the items on August 8th. She left feedback stating that the shipping was slow. I emailed her to advise that 7 days from North Dakota to Alabama was not unreasonable and that once the item is sent, I have no control over the length of time that it take the USPS to deliver it. I requested that in the future she advise her buyers via email of any dissatisfaction not via feedback. Responsible buyers advise the seller when there are concerns via email not via feedback. they should always allow the seller the opportunity to earn the buyers PERFECT feedback comments. She replied that I needed to take Zoloft and that I was a psycho and a freak. She replied to my one email with three emails over a 12 minute time frame. She now has listed my name, email address, and HOME phone number with several questionable websites. I have contacted the police department in her home town...because we just learned from one of the companies that called tonight that the IP address of the request was the same as the one she has been emailing me from. Her feedback follow-up was so ridiculous that Ebay removed it entirely from my profile. She asked that I stop emailing her, despite continued emails from her on a daily basis. I have not replied to any of her emails and I have not returned the internet harassment by posting her info on sites that send solicitation emails. PLEASE POST IMMEDIATELY AND PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN APPROACHING THIS WOMAN. IF YOU ARE CONTACTED BY HER, PLEASE REPORT IT TO THE DOTHAN ALABAMA POLICE DEPARTMENT AND THE FORT HOOD INTERNAL AFFAIRS OFFICE.

Hi, My name is Rhonda Pasibe. I had a bad experience with an ebay seller named Shannon Topel in August 2003. Mrs. Topel not only threatened me, she threatened my husband (once she found out he is in the military and so is her husband). I am no longer in contact with Mrs. Topel, but recently someone (who had also had a bad experience with Mrs. Topel) wrote to me to inform me of a complaint that Mrs. Topel has posted on your website against me.

In this complaint, Mrs. Topel accuses me of having a criminal history, of being nuts and she also states my City of residence. She is making completely false accusations and untruths about me, even going so far as to say that I used her email address to sign her up on a variety of websites, to receive spam. I have never done anything of the sort. I wish that I had never even met this lady, she has truly been a nightmare. She encourages readers to check with the Dothan, Alabama police dept. and says that I have a record in Ft. Hood as well. (I don't have a police record at all, not in Alabama, not anywhere--I've never even been to Ft. Hood and Mrs. Topel is defaming my character and damaging my livelihood--I am a Freelance Writer with many Christian works on the market and an upcoming release. I would very much like to put this matter behind me without having to seek legal recourse. Will you please remove this false post?

I am more than happy to provide you with the information you might need to investigate and verify that these allegations are false. I am no longer in contact with Mrs. Topel, nor have I been in contact with her since the August incident. I finally had to resort to telling her if she emailed me again I would turn her emails over to my attorney and thank goodness, she stopped. I do not wish to have any further dealings with Mrs. Topel, but I do need to find out what steps to take to have the post removed. I do not mind if you remove the post I left about her as well. Her allegations that I have a criminal history is without a shred of truth. I am a Christian writer, a PTO mom and a church going and law abiding citizen. The only thing that I did do wrong--that I wish I had not (and not because it is illegal, but because it is very unchristian like) is to get into this whole situation with Mrs. Topel and to tell her that I thought she needed medication. If you check the record, I left Mrs. Topel positive feedback after purchasing a little girl's outfit on ebay. I believe my comments went something like this " good ebayer, shipping wasn't the fastest, but I will definitely buy from again because the mdse. is good." Mrs. Topel freaked out over the fact that I said shipping wasn't the fastest (and it really wasn't--it was slow) and wrote me a hateful email, which I responded. (I should have never even acknowledged this woman's email, because after that she would not leave me alone). She left me negative feedback, she started an all out threat campaign and I guess (or hope) that her blatant lies posted on your site was the final attack (or at least I hope so). The fact that she lists my City of residence is a complete invasion of my privacy. What she has said about me cannot possibly be legal. I would very much like this information removed. You will find that I do buy and sell on ebay and have never had these type of allegations brought against me, you will find however, that Mrs. Topel has continually changed her user id and that she has had more than a page of complaints. Shannon Topel is a fraud and scam artist. She listed an item on Ebay that she puchased from the Army Exchange Service. She noticed I sell similar items and warned me that it is illegal to resell items purchased from AAFEES. I told her that the items listed were purchased via flea market liquidation sources and that I just copy descriptions off other Ebay members that list similar products. I then noticed that one of the descriptions I used was taking fom an item she had listed on EBAY - a Nacho Cart. It turns out she pucrhased the Nacho Cart from AAFES online with the intent to resell. This must be the case because accused me ( faslely) of doing such. She then purchased a Popcorn Maker from me and demanded that I Fedex the item to her .. I refused and sent her money back. She rejected the money and demanded that the item be sent no later than Friday or she would file fraud charges against me. She then went on a blistering email attack like a someone who missed a zoloft pill. After that she gave me negative feedback. I then discovered through various sources who is she is, where she lived, and an established pattern of fraud and misconduct. She goes by several names on Ebay and then gets caught in her lies. I linked two of her email addresses to one Paypal Account. If anyone knows her husbands Commander's name/unit please let me know because I need to discuss several issues with him. Since her husband is active duty and she willfully sold items on Ebay that were purchased from AAFEES online her privilages must be revoked. She even lied claiming that she tried to return an item to AAFES and they only offered her part of what she paid. That gave her away because AAFES policy on returns is return what is on the recipt or nothing. There is no discounted returned price, period. She got caught trying to cover up her scam and gouging techniques. Her intent was simple - purchase tax free items at $18.95 and sell them on Ebay for nearly $40.00!!!! She then got mad because the intems I purchased to give away as bonafide gifts at a family reunion (things changed because of an illness) were being sold at near cost. Since some of the items were the same that she had listed ( at an outragous price) she got mad and went on the attack. It is not over yet. She messed with the wrong people this time and this will pushed all the way. I request contact with anyone who has received a threat from this person, whether it is blackmail as she tried to do to me, intimidation, slander, libel, etc. I have her real name, address, and other essential items needed for legal purposes only. Do need to know her husbands real name and what unit he is in so I can deal with this issue and prevent her from threatening other honorable people on the future.
