I agreed to trade with a woman named Susan Erhard. I sent my pillow pals to her. She acknowledged receiving them. She was supposed to send me 2 beanies. When I asked her where they were she said she had sent beanies to wrong person and couldn't get them back. She offered to send mine back or pay for them. I send her price and she agreed to pay it. Needless to say I have not received my pillow pals or money. I have send numerous emails and have not gotten replies. Ironically her email address is Erhard@integrityonline.com. this has been going on since the end of August. She has Purr and Zulu and was to trade for 2 Ositos. Instead of the Ositos she was going to pay $25. Susan Erhard's address is

I recently agreed a trade with someone calling herself Sasha Drake, she did contradict herself a few times whilst trying to agree a trade, but she put this down to tiredness, I foolishly gave her the benefit of the doubt! I sent Spot, Lizzy, 98 Teddy, 97 Teddy, and Goldie on 16.10.99 I email after a couple of weeks to let her know I hadn't received anything but there was still time, but I just had a gut feeling that something was wrong as I had received 5 other parcels from the US all from trades done after the one with Sasha. I have never received anything from her which was supposed to be Britannia and Peace buddies. I emailed an got no reply at first, then I said if she didn't email me back with some explanation, I would put her on the trading boards. I also asked if the parcel was sent by boat or airmail, so that I could allow longer, and she swore it was airmail, which made me even more curious. She said I only need to ask for the beanies returned which I had done previously.I have been searching for information on the traderlist and to my amazement have found someone with the name Susan Erhard Erhard@integrityonline.com I found that this person has the same postal address as Sasha Drake, and that another email address has been used. I posted a caution on three internet sites last night and have had replies from someone else in the UK who has been scammed by Sasha, other people who have seen cautions against her and someone who was very cautious of her and indeed didn't trade.I have tried to get a postal fraud form from the post office, but they didn't know what I meant. Please can you give me information as to how I can have this listed on the bad traders list to save other innocent individuals from loosing their beanies. sasha said they were for her 9 year old son to fill gaps in his collection, well now my 14 year old daughter will be without a Britannia Buddy at Christmas. I would appreciate any help. I emailed Sasha several times telling her I had not received the beanies and she just replied by telling me that me along with 5 others hadn't received and that she would tell the post office what she thought of them, she said she sent airmail which normally takes about 7-10 days but after 4 weeks of not receiving anything questioned her as to which way she sent the beanies, thinking she may have sent by ship allowing for the delay. I emailed again telling Sasha that I still hadn't received anything but she didn't answer my email. I emailed again telling her that unless she could explain the situation, I would post on the trading boards and have her stopped trading. She then told me that she had the same problem with someone over here in the Uk and had been waiting three months and the post office over in the states said that basically she had been screwed. This is the same postal address that I had been given by Sasha Drake email address sunshinepurple@integrityonline.com. I put on 4 trading boards messages warning people not to trade with Sasha/Susan and 3 email addresses I had for her. I have had several people who have had bad trades or backed out of them as they were suspicious email me.One person who has traded with Sasha and it worked out well for them wotks at a police department so they got their beanies, but what better a reference can you have than someone in the police. Please put on your bad trader/caution list as many other innocent people may be robbed of their possesions. Thankyou so much for your email and hope you can help in some way.Lissa McCabe

My name is Mary Jo Spindler and I live in Rochester Hills, Michigan. Looks like I can be added to the list of people that have been scammed by Sasha Drake / Susan Erhard at "pudin68@go.com". Sasha and I agreed upon 2 different trades; upon request, she gave me alot of different email addresses that could be used to verify her references. I selected several at random and all wrote back favorably about their trades with her. (Of course, all of them could have been written by herself, using different email addresses). I proceeded to mail my package and when hers didn't arrive within the few days, I wrote back to her. She very politely explained that she didn't mail it until a few days after what we had planned. So, of course, I waited for several more days. The day before Thanksgiving, I was viewing ads in Beaniemania when I saw an email alert for bad trader 'Sasha Drake'. Then I went into the Traders List and of course, there were notices about her. I actually wrote to her after that - tried to appeal to her good senses but of course have had no return emails. I am terribly upset about what I lost and gave up in the trade but more than that, I am so sorry to think that there is a possibility of someone actually getting away with this type of fraud. Obviously, she (or he) is a very intelligent, calculating person. She is very polite in her emails and from what I can see, doesn't make ridiculous trades so as to make a person suspicious. There must be something that can be done to put a stop to this person. Even though she has used different email addresses, it seems she has been using the same mailing address and from what I heard, her post office says they get packages addressed to 4 different people at that address. Based on all the ammunition we seem to have against her - wouldn't it be possible for the local police in her town to go after her. I don't understand.... but I do know we can't let her hurt anyone else. I am so terribly angry right now, that if I had the money, I'd probably hire a private detective or jump on a plane and go find her myself. Please let me know what you think and what other information you might need from me. I have copies of all our emails since the beginning of the trade. I look forward to hearing from you. What a "little madam" she has turned out to be. She owes me a Lefty anf Righty. I was trading 2 Brit Buddies. Fortunately, I had a "gut" feeling about her and only sent 1 Brit Buddy. Thank goodness that is all I have lost. You should have seen the list she asked for Bumble the Bee. Well an inner feeling said "wait untill you get something first" It is just as well I did or else I would have been reduced to tears by now. She told a sob story about wanting them for her father's birthday. Haven't these sort of people got any concience. Why should they get away with it. It has turned me into a suspicious person, trusting no one and isn't that sad??? There are a lot of good people out there and now she has spoiled it.......Grhhhhhh!!!!!!

I have spoken with other traders who have also had bad dealings with her, and never received the trades please could you add her name to the bad traders list . Sasha Drake or Susan Drake or last name Erhardt is a fraud and scammer I sent her 11 beanies all retired including a maple. She does not respond to my e-mails and has ripped off may others and won't send their merchandise as I am now finding out. Her mailing address seems to remain the same but she has various e-mails: sunshinepurple@integrityonline.com, Erhardt@integrityonline.com and puddin 68@go.com If you have any additional info or a phone number for her or are in the process of doing any current trades please send me anything you know on this person. JUST TO ADD MY NAME TO A LONG LIST OF OTHERS THAT HAVE BEEN SCAMMED BY DRAKE. I MAILED A TY2K ON THE 12th OCTOBER AND AM STILL WAITING FOR THE END BEAR TO TURN UP, SHE IGNORES E-MAILS, SAYS SHE IS CHASING THE POST OFFICE TO FIND OUT WHAT HAS HAPPENED, AND ALL THE TIME SHE JUST LIES......STEPHEN PHIPPS. HERTFORDSHIRE. ENGLAND..

I don't know if you are aware, but I contacted the Police Department in Ontario Oregon on Monday evening, 7.10pm UK time.I have given all details of our trade to Sgt R. Esplin.I emailed all the people who contacted me after posting warnings on the trading boards. On Wednesday they called at the address of Sasha/Susan and seized thousand of dollars of beanies/buddies. A case of theft by deception is underway against her. I am to be kept informed of any developments that may occur. Meanwhile Sasha/Susan has been putting posts on beaniemania saying she is sorry and anyone who traded with her to email her and she will send the beanies back. She can't send the beanies back as the police have them. I received an email from her yesterday friday 3rd December asking if she returned my beanies, would I drop the charges. I didn't email her, I just forwarded the email to the police department. Just thought I would updated you. Regards, Lissa McCabe

I sent Susan Erhard, Ontario, Oregon, a mint Britannia beanie in August and so far have had only lame promises to return it to me. When I did not receive my trade and contacted her, she told me she had sent mine by mistake to someone else because her email had acted up.Yeah right. Anyhow, we set up another comparable trade and still got nothing. After I continued contacting her, I received 4 McDonald International bears worth about $10. I contacted her and told her this was not a suitable trade for a Britannia and she said she would make it right. Four months have gone by with many promises and nothing yet. DO NOT MAKE ANY TRADES WITH HER AT ALL! I don't want anyone else to be scammed.

As bad as I hate to admit it, I too was taken by aka: Sahsa Drake "real name", I sent her an OF Brown Teddy on Oct. 29 for several Maple, Britannia Beanies and a Halo Buddy. I got the same run around as others did about how she had sent out several packages at one time and had sent the wrong beanies to several wrong people. I got in touch with the Police Dept. in Ontario, Oregon and left an email for a Sgt Rick Esplin. I recieved an email back from a Sheri Smith who is working on this case. She informed me that they had already went to Sasha's home and taken alot of beanies from her. Everyone who was taken by Sasha should send Sheri an email. Susan Drake was arrested this week for the crime she has committed. The District Attorneys Office is completing the processes. Sgt Rick Esplin will be going through his case report and will try to separate out all the beanie babies and buddies in hopes to place the property with the rightful owners. We will keep you informed on our progress. Sgt Esplin is off duty until this weekend, therefore this process will not start up until after the first of the year. I am a UK collector who is writing for advice regarding a trade between myself and Sasha Drake from Canada. She was supposed to send me a Maple for my Britannia last October and I have not received it. I have over 70 references on both knk and eBay and have never found myself in this situation before. Hi,  I'm Sgt. Rick Esplin with the Ontario Police Department in Oregon. I have been working on the theft of several Beanie Babies/Buddies since October 1999. Susan Drake has been found guilty of the theft, and as a result part of her punishment is that she has to pay to have your Beanies shipped back to you. I will need ONLY the following from each of you. Your complete address with zip code. (If you live in the UK , Canada or German,please type your address the way it should look when I send it), and the exact description of your property (Babies or Buddies or in some cases, Pillow Pal) It is important that I know if they are Babies or Buddies. Also, I need to know if they were in some kind of kit.Some bad news. Some of you will not be getting your property back. For this I am sorry. I did the best I could under the circumstances. Those of you who do not get any property back will be compensated by Susan Drake for the loss of your Beanie Babies/Buddies. If you do not get your property back and receive no money from Drake then you will need to contact the Malheur District Attorney in Vale, Oregon. They are in charge of seeing that restitution is paid.
