I started this trade with Susan Guy on the cn trade boards before it closed down. Had sent the lady Cindy info, as at first Susan Guy said she didn't receive from me, but this changed to she did & maybe her part of trade was sent by surface & not air, have waited, but still no trade from her. then she said she would resend, but had to make a trade with her beanie friends, she email me that she had the beanies BUT now she says just can't mail as she is haveing trouble with having a baby , I need to give her more time. This trade started back on 11-7-02-- As of last week I still can't get her to respond to my emails.
Thanks for any help.

Hi
in response to your email regarding a trade with betty sconce. I sent her part of the trade on 12 nov (have a copy of receipt) but she says the beanies were never received. I have since had an email to say something similar happened to another trader that she traded with. The delay in replying has been due to the fact I've been in hospital. What action will be taken?

Please see the attached postage receipt. I did say I would resend and needed more time as I have been in hospital for the last 3 weeks and had a major operation. I didn't resend due to this and told her of my problem but she still felt it necessary to get in touch with you. I have heard that she has had a problem trade in the past and am also wondering if she did receive my part of the trade and saying that she hasn't. what now happens regarding this matter

Note from Mediator Pat.

Ms. Guy did send a postal receipt, but it had no name or address on it or any destination on it. She had promised to resend the items, but as of today, nothing has been received, despite numerous emails to her.

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. As earlier stated and after many years of trading, I have never misled or defrauded any person interested in conducting beanie commerce over the internet. Ms. Guys' accusations are simply false! By her own acknowledgement, I fulfilled my obligation and sent her the agreed upon Beanies in pristine condition. She has yet to honor the auspices of our agreement by sending me the UK Trio. These actions, or lack there of, are certainly those expected of someone without integrity.

Inclusion of Vanessa into this matter is arbitrary and disingenuous. Vanessa and I made a trade whereby I received Beanies in unsatisfactory condition. We agreed to send each others property back, and this occurred. She then claimed I withheld one of the Beanies in that exchange. What Vanessa claims I withheld, and it is simply not true. I will allow my reputation throughout my life to speak for itself as I sent all property back to Vanessa. I strongly recommend Ms. Guy disclose specific evidence that I did not return all Beanie property to Vanessa before posting any further disparaging information about me, my trading practices, and my character. If not, I am prepared and with resource to respond accordingly.

This matter is frivolous and I hope all honest traders will continue acting in good faith and in a manner commensurate with dignity and pride.
