I purchased a no shell mint tags Tank on ebay, item #546271771 on 1/25/01.

I sent out a personal check on 2/1/00 after waiting that amount of time to hear from the seller. As of 2/14/01, she was still claiming that she had not received check, finally on 2/17/01, she e mailed to tell me that she had received the check and now needed to wait 10 days for it to clear...I said fine, although I was beginning to get disgusted with the whole transaction since up until this point it had taken nearly a month !

On 2/24/01 she wrote to tell me that Tank had been mailed. I asked her what the confirmation number was and got no respopnse to e mail. Then, I waited and waited and SURPRISE no Tank showed up...On 3/8/01 in response to my e mail, she wrote:

"Lori I don't know what has happened but Tank was mailed 2 weeks ago. You should check with the post office to see what may have happened. I'll see what I can find out here. Susan"

On 3/13/01, in response to another e mail:

Susan, I am very concerned about my package and I have no intention of being out $110. Please send tracking number so that I may get in touch with the post office. Thanks ... Lori

...I received this response:

"I spoke with the post office and they blamed it on the weather, but it was shipped long before the storm hit you guys. Also, they don't consider a package "lost" for 30 days. Then I can file a claim, which I will do if it doesn't turn up.Susan"

Please let me know if you need anything else....I have now sent multiple e mails, which go unanswered and I have told her that if I didnt hear from her within 24 hours, I would have to proceed further. I really do not want to lose $110 and I would assume that for the $5 shipping fee, she would have at least used delivery confirmation and/or insurance.
